Anyone else hoping this year they fix it to were mangers don't spend half of the match on the aprons? While I would definitely like to see managers as a whole worked on some more, I think they're far better than they were in '12. Sure, they'll still pop up on the apron every now and then, but it's not nearly as frequent or annoying as it was last year--at least not in my experience. |

I agree they were better but still sucked. They were pretty good before 12 imo. The best manger system ever in my opinion was the one in Legends of Wrestlemania.

Only times I use managers is if a superstar has a secondary attire that has them wearing their entrance gear or street clothes or if the manager they include in the game is still currently active with their client, like Ricardo for the last two games. Even then, I rarely pick them to be managers.

I would like to see Paul Heyman in the game as a manager, now that's someone I would use. Has he ever been in a game? I want to say he was in one around the time he managed The Dudleys on Smackdown, but I could be imagining things haha

Yeah, I think he was in the first Smackdown vs. Raw.
I remember him having the generic stunner finisher or something.

Anyone else remember in SVR2006 you could have Daivari accompany you to the ring, and at ringside he would shout things in Persian? I thought that was awesome.

Am I the only one expecting major changes in modes that we already have now? Like Universe Mode? I wouldn't be surprised if 2K got rid of that all together and instead had a season mode and a GM mode or something along the lines of that. Over roster, game play, and graphics, I think a re-vamped season mode is what this game needs more than anything. Who cares if the roster isn't 100+ people? This is 2K's first WWE game in a several year contract, they have time to work on rosters, but a brand new stepping stone must be a Season mode.

2K is just the publisher. Beside, they've already hired on a lot of the key players from THQ and are still working with Yukes anyway. I wouldn't expect there to be any major changes this year--especially considering the time they have/had to work on it.

There better be some kind of story line mode to play in this. That's what WWE '13 lacked, a story mode like the old Road To Wrestlemanias. If they worked on that, it would be awesome. Obviously if you subtract all the wacky stuff like fighting Animal and Vader backstage every week and having wider options as far as story, length of story and character choices.

Jim Ross has been confirmed. Soure? Jim Ross being in the game could mean he's there for some kind of Attitude Era continuation or just for the 'old' arenas. If he's in the game on commentary I hope that means we can pick announcers. I really hope we get JBL and Josh on commentary also as I'm sick of it just being King and Cole the past few years. :: also, with my managers idea I would use the crapout of Jim Ross. |
