They need to add more improve the quality of universe mode. I like it, but after a while it just feels like I'm playing a bunch of random matches. I mean it seems like cutscenes almost never happen and when they do they ruin tag teams I have set up and turns everyone into good guys. Also, add promos like in GM Mode. That would help advance storylines and make for a better mode all together.

In GM mode you could have a wrestler, yes wrestler, not superstar, do a promo, be in a movie, work out, things like that.

If this is Attitude Era part 2 I hope it's about the Invasion Storyline... Please 2K! Can't wait for this game! And on a side note the CAW needs to be improved.. Greatly.

It would be weird if they were to continue the mode after Mania' 15 without the likes of The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, Kurt Angle, RVD & Chris Benwho.

I thought he was gone. But, yeah, it would be a bit amiss without some of them. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing it continue, though.

I'd take Universe Mode over GM Mode any day. GM Mode was good back then, but Universe Mode is just simply better. Throw in more features that were in GM Mode into Universe Mode and focus on making it better if anything. My only complaint over WWE '13 Universe Mode was how cut-scenes hardly ever pop up, and when they do they are either repetitive or just completely random as . I still haven't had a single multi-choice cutscene. My major wants for Universe Mode are: - Storyline set ups. In GM Mode we had storyline Writers/Rivalries. I'd like to see that return in an advanced way. > to about 01:50) Once set up it would give us the feud with appropriate cutscenes and a more visual way on how it progresses. - News. I feel the News tab could be better, telling us more information about rivals, allies, feuds etc rather than just title wins and cheer/boo turns. - Money in the Bank Briefcase acknowledged in the game more. Having the superstar enter with the case would probably be generic but it would be very nice. Even having it at ring side like a title belt would be cool - Tournaments and Qualifier matches I'm glad King of the Ring returned last year (despite only being in exhibition) I'd love to be able to start tournaments in Universe Mode, put in information as to who will be involved, what shows it will take place and what the winner will receive. The same going for Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank matches.

Yeah right, there's still plenty of major storylines and matches that can be recreated, here's some I'd hope they include: Chapters: The Corporate Ministry Rock and Sock Connection McMahon Helmsley-Era The Return of the Rattlesnake Matches: Backlash 1999: Stone Cold vs The Rock Backlash 1999: Mankind vs Big Show Summerslam 1999: Stone Cold vs Triple H vs Mankind Unforgiven 1999: Six Pack Challenge Survivor Series 1999: The Rock vs Triple H vs Big Show Royal Rumble 2000: Triple H vs Cactus Jack No Way Out 2000: Triple H vs Cactus Jack WrestleMania 2000: The Rock vs Triple H vs Mick Foley vs Big Show Backlash 2000: The Rock vs Triple H Summerslam 2000: Shane McMahon vs Steve Blackman Royal Rumble 2001: Royal Rumble Match WrestleMania X-Seven: Stone Cold vs The Rock

They could do a monday night wars theme, where you can start in WCW in 1997 and jump ship over to WWF in the storymode in 98. In WCW you fight guys like Syxx, The Giant, DDP, Bulldog, Bret, Neidhart, Hennig, Savage, Nash, Booker, Eddie, Saturn, Malenko, Jericho, Flair, Bagwell, Mysterio etc. Then you can get guys transferring over when they did (like Bret, X-Pac, Giant etc). Or if you choose the WWF side then you can fight most of the guys from WWE 13 like Billy, Val, Austin, Undertaker etc etc.
That way they can bring pretty much everyone back from WWE 13, and just add more (like Holly, Albert etc and some WCW guys).

It's one of the few times where I wouldn't mind them copying and pasting an idea. They could totally use LOWM's manager system and I wouldn't mind.

Yes, please. Even though I was never a huge fan of the Corporate Ministry idea (and don't ever get me started on the Higher Power), I would still love to see them cover the Ministry in general in a game. Hell, if that meant getting Mideon and Viscera on the roster then that'd be even better.

I'm just thinking of who we could see if they continued AE Mode.
The Rock (Trunks with 2000-Present Logos, "1000$ Dollar Shirt" & Slacks) Stone Cold Steve Austin (Two Knee Braces & Trunks, T-Shirt and Jean Shorts) Triple H (HHH Trunks, HHH Jersey Shirt & Athletic Pants) Undertaker (Ministry Attire, ABA, Brothers of Destruction) Kane (1 Sleeved Mesh Flame Attire, 2000-2001 Mesh Flame Singlet/Tanktop Attire) Chris Jericho (Barbwire Tights, Lightning Bolt Tights) Mankind (Slacks) Mick Foley (WM 2000) Cactus Jack (Flannel Vest) RVD Booker T Big Show (Long Hair, 2000 Short Hair) Rikishi Grand Master Sexay Scotty Too Hotty Edge Christian Eddie Guerrero Faarooq Bradshaw Dean Malenko Billy Gunn (Mr. Ass attire!) X-Pac Road Dogg Godfather Val Venis (Long Hair, Short Hair/Heel) Test Albert Steve Blackman
Al Snow (I think he might be working with TNA in some form) Perry Saturn Mark Henry (Sexual Chocolate) British Bulldog (Short Hair & Jeans) Mr. McMahon (Suit, Wrestling Attire) Shane McMahon
Trish Lita Torrie Wilson Stacy Keibler Stephanie McMahon
If we got a roster like that (with even some of it being DLC), I'm all for the continuation of AE Mode.

There's also the "who ran over Stone Cold" storyline that they could incorporate into Attitude Mode as a chapter.

I already said that in the exact post you quoted. It doesn't change the fact that even if you chose to run a promo there never actually was one. It was just a text option on the menu that you could choose to try and boost your show's fans. No promo ever actually happened.

I liked the competition of GM Mode, but with the draft gone it wouldn't make sense. If they do AE Mode up to WMX8 (I'd assume they'll stick to X-Seven in this one but its possible) then WWE 15 could have a GM Mode set in 2002.
More likely that Universe gets a few GM elements and other improvements, like tournaments and storylines.

I think GM mode would be pretty cool if it was WWE vs WCW and set during the Monday Night Wars. And you had to try and poach wrestlers from the rival organisation and make deals where you try and persuade arenas not to allow the competition to wrestler there and other under hand tactics.

Honestly, The idea of a 1999-2001 Attitude Era mode interests me alot more then the 97-99 one.
