A little surprised how soon the release is, but a pleasant surprise at that. Would like to see new info or pics soon though, surprising we are already in may and really release is only 5 or so months away now! To be fair, we hadn't even gotten the first batch of info/screenshots yet for '13 at this point last year. The trailer leaked towards the end of May and the initial press release was at the beginning of June. |

Thats true, being in new hands though, would be cool if they could get the word out soon though to start the hype. But part of it is I'm just anxious like most are to see something already.  Hopefully something begins to trickle out in the next month or two. Even just a few teaser screenshots would be cool to see what kind of differences there are and that we can expect. |

Unless the game looks spectacular, I don't think I'll be getting it. I've been wanting to sell my Xbox for a few months now and this game will be the deciding factor.

^^ Yeah, I'm in the same boat. If 2K14 just looks like WWE '13 2.0, I'm skipping it. Not because WWE '13 was even a bad game, but because the series in general is struggling to keep me occupied for any more than a couple of months every year. I need to see something truly new, gameplay wise, not just tons of novelty crap.

I'll be skipping 2K14 if there isn't a version for next gen consoles.
I'm looking forward to see what they're going to bring to the table this year, though.

I will (hopefully) be at Uni by the time of release so I probably won't get the game for a few months after. I know i'd still buy the game if it was exactly the same but with a new roster.  |

If this game gets a PC release, I'd buy it in an instant. That's the big deciding factor for me this year.

They've never had one in the past, and considering everything that happened over this year with the THQ to 2K switch, I don't see how they would have time to develop a version of the game for a platform they haven't already done before. They're not even doing one for the WiiU (not sure about the Wii) this year. |

I don't know how many of you have posted anything you would like addressed in 2K14 to the playtesters. One of my friends was selected, so if you guys have any suggestions or bugs to fix. Post some here and I'll forward them to him tomorrow night to add to his already large list.

I'll still follow the game for a little while at least. Given wwe 13's success, we may be looking at another svr 2007 situation where the game is great but falls under the radar. |

Gameplay has been so stale and repetitive in recent years and the worsening 'story modes' aren't helping. Every new release seems to go one step forward 300 steps back.

I'm worried this game is going to be just like MLB 2K13. All 2K did was update the roster and sell it for $60. I thought WWE 13 was great but I gotta say I'm a little worried here with 2K taking over. Hopefully my fears will be proven unfounded.

All things considering with THQ this past year, I wouldn't be too surprised if this is somewhat true. Obviously it won't be exactly the same, though, as they couldn't just leave the exact same Attitude Era Mode there. I'm not really expecting any major changes this year though. |
