Honestly, The idea of a 1999-2001 Attitude Era mode interests me alot more then the 97-99 one. Exactly. The beginning of the AE were the seeds being planted. Once 1999 came, the WWF reached new heights. My personal favorite era was 1999-2002. Some of the best years to be a wrestling fan. Also, not sure if anyone pointed this out but WWE won the rights to use WWF on DVDs and Classics on Demand and stuff so I think we should look forward to seeing some really authentic stuff if they do decide to follow the AE |

Honestly, as much as I enjoyed AE Mode, I enjoyed some of the unique stories in the last few years just as much.
For example, the WCW Invasion and Beating the Streak were great, fresh stories. Was RTWM mode broken at the time? Sure, to a certain extent. But I think with a new company, making a game that moves forward and not focusing on the past would be better.
To me, WWE 13 was more or less THQ's swan song, which is why it featured something that people had wanted in a game for a while. But it's been done. In fact, that fact THQ did the "extra chapter" which did cover things for the time frame some of you are looking for makes me thing they are even less likely to touch that time period.

They certainly never made it seem like they were going to a do another year with the Attitude Era even before they looked like they were on their way out. Jim Ross.

I mean, yeah, they may not be supposed to say anything, but if they're going to have a build available to play, then info is going to get out. I'd imagine we're not too far from getting some official news as well, if that's true. |

I know this is probably obvious, but WWE 14 is confirmed for PS3 and Xbox 360 at the very least. It's something at least. According to 2K's release schedule that is.

A little surprised how soon the release is, but a pleasant surprise at that. Would like to see new info or pics soon though, surprising we are already in may and really release is only 5 or so months away now!
