So, we're still going to get the same old car with a fresh coat of paint year after year? Great.

That sounds awesome, to be honest. Like I said, it's nothing shy of premature to just assume that we're going to get a rehash of last year's game. Regardless of whether or not they've brought over some THQ guys and that they're working with Yukes, it's still a different company. I'm expecting there to be some differences--if nothing else, at least visually. I'm looking forward to seeing where everything goes. It's going to take a lot--a lot--to top '13, so they've got their work cut out for them.

Plus it's only February, I don't know what their schedules been like since they started planning, but I'm assuming the majority of what they've done is pre-production/model making.

We usually don't even see anything until around May--and even then they don't have all of the models finished. Hell, remember how they didn't even have Attitude Big Show fully ready for the roster reveal? That's not even taking into account how much larger of a team there's going to be, not to mention (what I'd imagine to be) a much larger budget.

Aren't their games usually cheap too? I remember their sports titles used to be 19.99 or something

All I want is a game that the AI stops kicking out after 1 the entire ing match.

All I want is a game that the AI stops kicking out after 1 the entire ing match. I hate that this has happened. Yukes, I mean. I keep playing 13' and thinking ... I can't wait for this to be different. I can't wait for more then 6 guys in the ring at once. I can't wait for the controls to be fixed again. For the counter system to be decent. For them to fix the camera angles... But No. 2k14... *sigh* No high hopes.

I love WWE '13, it's my favorite game in the series and I still play it almost every day so I'm happy that Yuke's will continue developing WWE games. Aren't their games usually cheap too? I remember their sports titles used to be 19.99 or something NFL 2K5 was the first and only game in the 2K series priced at $19.99 the day it shipped due to competition with the Madden series that subsequently ended after EA signed an exclusive contract with the NFL.

2K nails it when it comes to presentation. NBA 2K games are insanely true to life, and hell, even the old NFL 2K games were head and shoulders above Madden when it came to presentation.

I really hope it isn't the same game every year. While WWE 13 is great, it has it's flaws.

Obviously this isn't the point you were getting at, but NFL 2K5 is still, hands down, the best football game I've played to this day. That's probably the main reason I'm so happy about 2K having the WWE license.

I think that'll be the best part about Yukes and the guys from THQ coming over--that the creation suite will more than likely stay in tact. Personally, though, I'm more than open to seeing some changes in CAW Mode. It's essentially been the same thing since 08.

I've never played a 2K Sports game, I've only heard that they're pretty good. Hopefully they can improve on WWE '13 as that would make for one incredible game. There's the obvious things like more superstars in the ring at once and the ability to edit superstars that will always be the most desired features, but I'm just hoping they improve Universe Mode, really. It has so much potential.

I'm glad Yukes is on board for this. Imagine The Creation Suite being reset. It would be depressing to see such great modes watered down for (possibly) a few years.
As for some really early things I'm either expecting due to it being an error in 13, or just straight up want for 2K14, is:
The 1 Count Problem being addressed. Allowing us to Change Attires and Match Experience settings in Universe Mode without "Changing The Participants" Allowing us to Modify Royal Rumble match settings in Universe without it messing up the Winner's Rewards Royal Rumble settings for Exhibition and Universe that allows us to pick everyone's entry numbers (like Elimination Chamber matches), and attires. Improved A.I that doesn't get hell bent on performing the OMG Moments. Logic settings similar to Firepro Returns (even if it isn't as detailed) Glitch fixes for Story Designer (Removal of that weird sound glitch)
Something else I though of is option of "Super Finishers". They could require 2 or 3 Finishers and any Finisher is assignable. (Super GTS for Punk, Tombstone for Kane, Hell's Gate for Taker, Super Angle Slam for Angle, Shooting Star Press for Lesnar, etc.)

They're gonna have to go above and beyond expectation to surpass WWE '13 I thought I remember one of the developers saying something along the lines of, "If you liked '13, just wait until next year. " I'm hoping that's still true & they pull out something big.
