I have extremely high expectations for this. 2K Sports usually has great graphics, presentation, and the gameplay is always smooth. This has the potential to be as good as HCTP or SYM.

For your own sake it might be safe to neuter those expectations a bit as there's a possibility that we won't see 2K's influence until WWE 2K15. Besides WWE'13 with less glitches and few new features (which is a given) would be enough for me. That and the rumors that Yukes were actually working on a new engine for next gen consoles allows me stay patient for the time being.

Odds are 2k14 will pretty much be similar to WWE13.
2k sports most likely will/has begun to map out their changes/plans for the game, and you won't see those for atleast a year or two.

Sounds like a silly name, but I won't bash the game until we see it.
WWE '13 was great, but I don't think it's 'unbeatable'.
Can't wait to hear more news on this title.

I don't understand the dislike of the name. I've seen hate all over the net.
It could be called "Dog Turd 2k14" and it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. What does the name matter?

I don't see why people hate the name sounds fine to me. Although I would like "gimmick" names. Like Here comes the pain

I, for one, have zero problem with the name. It doesn't sound bad by any means and it makes perfect sense being a 2K game. It is a bit of a shame that the '12/'13-type titles only lasted two years now that I think about it.

Do you think we will get a half legends/attitude era roster again?
or if it will be majority Current (with a bunch of guys like Austin, Edge, HBK etc)

Out of curiosity via a rumor I saw elsewhere:
Should Bruno Sammartino actually make it into the game as a playable, who would you first put him against in the game?
Personally, I'd have him face an Aldo Montoya CAW. Why? Idunno.

I hope some legend divas make it into the game this year, At the most we'd only get Trish but that's probably not even on the cards. I also hope CAW mode is completely revamped. I'm sick CAWs looking like trash compared to the in-game models which look perfect. I'm also wondering if everyone will get a new entrance and moves then, as I'm sure they're not allowed to just copy and paste from THQ's moves and entrances?

^^ I don't think that's how that works, moves in the SvR series were in the Day of Reckoning series and vice versa.

I don't have a problem with having 2K in the name. I personally think it will get more people to buy the game. People have seen what 2K has done with the NBA series, so maybe that will influence them.

Who knows what direction the game will go in terms of the roster? I wouldn't be surprised if we got an all-modern roster this year. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a roster the size of 08's. Again, though, there's really no way to know. Time will tell.

Here's my roster predictions, assuming models can be reused, I have no clue what direction they're going with the Attitude Era section so I won't even bother guessing what legends will be added:
New Additions, default roster and DLC:
Bo Dallas Big E. Langston Cameron Darren Young Dean Ambrose Kaitlyn Naomi Roman Reigns Seth Rollins Titus O'Neil + others from NXT who could debut after WrestleMania
Definitely Won't Return:
Beth Phoenix Brie Bella Eve John Laurinaitis Kelly Kelly Kharma Nikki Bella
Probably Won't Return:
Animal Chainsaw Charlie Hawk Hunico Mike Tyson Ted DiBiase Yoshi Tatsu Vader + various alternate characters
Might Not Return:
Epico Jey Uso Jimmy Uso Justin Gabriel Primo + various Attitude Era characters

I'll obviously get '14, but I highly, highly doubt I'll be switching over to it for my shows.

The past few games have been fun, but I am hoping for a bit of change. WWE 13 has been filled with random glitches that it ends up taking a lot away from the gameplay. I'm ultimately hoping that the addition of 2K brings an epic GM/Franchise/Updated Universe mode to WWE 2K14. That's what I play the most but honestly it looks great when they talk about it but when you actually play Universe mode nothing happens and you get bored with it. At least that's what happened with me.
So, here's hoping for a smooth running, glitch free, WWE 2K14 with an awesome Universe Mode.
