Oh, man. That's horrible. I would have given him 20, looks like he needs it. The man looks disparaged.

I saw him last year at Chiller Theater. Instead of putting him in a group that included Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake, they put him at a table with Carroll Spinney (Big Bird from Sesame Street). He was more annoying than those people who work at kiosks in the mall who try to sell you expensive sea salt hand scrub.

That's a shame...I honestly thought they were going to do something good with him when they paired him with DiBiase Jr. I feel sorry for him. I hope he gets his life together.

Does he just blow through money or something? I mean, we never hear about him with drug problems. We dont hear about him with ex wife problem. He's seemingly completely out of the spotlight. Where does his money (that he earned in wrestling over the years) go?

Where does his money (that he earned in wrestling over the years) go? That's what I thought. I mean, I know he wasn't a megastar or anything, but it seems logical to think he made enough money in his day to not have to do stuff like this. Still feel bad for him though, whatever the reason may be.

Does he just blow through money or something? I mean, we never hear about him with drug problems. We dont hear about him with ex wife problem. He's seemingly completely out of the spotlight. Where does his money (that he earned in wrestling over the years) go? You're assuming he got paid like Hulk Hogan during that time. As of 2006, the lowest paid male performer in WWE was paid about 118,000 per year (http://www.URL BLOCKED.com/information/wwe-salaries/ see Lance Cade). That 118,000 is from 2006. There is no way Virgil was making even half of that per year back when he was active in the 1980s through 2000. But, let's pretend he made what 118,000 would be equivalent to today: $78,275.55 (http://www.dollartimes.com/calculators/inflation.htm) Now, factor in health costs and costs of living and taxes, and I'm sure that number dips south of $40k per year. Keep in mind he only worked in the higher paying companies from 1987-2000 and not really as an active wrestler but as a manager of sorts, so chances are he made even less. So he probably didn't blow his money on hookers and cocaine, but not having a full time job nor having benefits can do a number on you.

Damn, poor Virgil. I hope WWE takes a look at this and can help him out and maybe hook him up with a job or something. This is just sad....

Wow, just wow...This is very saddening.
Where did all his WCW money go? He was there during their hottest time and I'm sure he got a pretty big contract with Turner...

Virgil called my mate from work out, on a video on YouTube, telling him to get it on, my mate attended and they met up, mate was prepared to fight, while Virgil backed out and offered him a nWo t-shirt, my mate rejected it and ended up getting a picture with him.
