If you can get your mitts on an iTouch even you can still play the game in the meantime. Edit: Actually, if you've got a PC you can install Bluestacks on it and run the game from your computer.

Well, I went and bought a land expansion to get me to the beachfront for squidport only to find I need to buy a water expansion as well. Ugh. I will probably have to spend the next $30k I get on Jakes Unisex Hair Salon. It moves forward both my Abe Lincoln quest and my Marge quest. I don't think I have any choice.

Unfortunately I'm remoted into my computer so it doesn't recognize the graphics driver and won't install. It didn't charge for the download (though it tried to sell me crap) but I can't get it installed at the moment so I can't say that it doesn't charge when you try to run it after installing. I couldn't get that far. I was under the impression the core program is free. They do try to sell you crap with it though.

Springfield Downs has a ginormous footprint. I have no place to put it where it actually looks decent. Please don't mock my town too much.

I ing hate Springfield Downs. Bulky piece of property that serves no purpose beyond a few missions here and there. Don't bother selling it, you'll need it close to Level 28 or 29.

I installed bluestacks on my PC with no issues and was able to access the app store. I didn't bother putting in my google credentials at that point, but I've no reason to believe that if I did it would fail. It was all completely free.

I'm torn on Springfield Downs. I'm more than half tempted to stash it in my inventory because I need the space. On the other hand it gives several of my characters 3 hour tasks which is really nice. It's like Sophie's choice only harder.

Keep it out, unless you don't have space for it. I only say that because if you store it and bring it back out, I'm pretty sure you have to wait the full build time again.

I've put houses away and didn't have to wait for build time. I think I've boxed up the Kwik-e-mart as well once. As I think about it I do box buildings often because it's the only way to cancel a task.

For some reason, I remember putting Fort Sensible, and when I brought it back out, I had to wait to rebuild it again.

No I get that. I'm saying I built it, put it back in my inventory, then placed it again and it had to build again.

I wonder if there's a time limit or something. Like if it's in the inventory for X time then you have to rebuild from scratch. I put stuff in inventory all the time because it's the only way to cancel a task.
Anyway, I've started building boardwalk sections now. I now have more than I have space to place, but oh well. I need $100k to build the buildings they're wanting me to build but that's not going to happen. I'm done betting at the track. I've bet 5 times and won twice. No thanks. I'm being asked to build the Itchy and Scratchy store, the guilded truffle and the police station. I don't have anywhere close to that kind of cash. I can scare up about $30-35k a day right now and that's feeling like it's not much at all.

What does the squid port evn do, I just got jakes hair salon and trying to save money is really annoying so I'm wondering if its worth it It's just another area of town. It's a boardwalk basically. I think it costs all of like $4500 to build and the sections of boardwalk I've built so far have been like $2-3k each. I've got no plans to do anything with it until I hit the level cap but I'm building the sections so I have them there when I've got the money to buy the water expansions. I'm like $3k away from being able to build the Guilded Truffle. Then I think I'm going to save up for the police station since it gives me another character who can actually earn money for me.

Yeah, you buy the water expansion and then the squidport entrance itself is like $4500 or so. They give you 4 sections free I think. The other pieces you have to build. Each successive piece costs more and takes longer. I think the one I'm building now costs like $4500 and takes like 12 hours. Eventually they start taking like 36 hours to build. I'm told that if you do the math it takes like 8 months to build them all. lol.

I just checked. The boardwalk section I'm building now is like $5k (which is nothing) and takes 24 hours to build. I think I'm going to come back to the Squidport quests once I hit the level cap for sure. I'm afraid that if I build the building they want me to build that they'll just ask me to build another building. I don't have enough property or boardwalk sections for that. I think I'm better off waiting until I have the money and the boardwalk sections rather than being constantly frustrated at not having enough land to build on.
