Hey guys...So during Black Friday I purchased an extra Bret Hart exclusive from Ringside (the pink & black attack) along with the Defining Moments Bret I got from Marshall's around that time my intention is to make a custom Bret out of those 2 figures. My question is....What, in your opinion, is Bret Hart's definitive look? The pink top with black tights or the black top with pink tights I only plan on keeping one version after I combine the two figures....and am kind of torn between which look I'd rather have. *EDIT* So I finished both customs just this afternoon....so essentially this becomes which do you like better?   |

I personally prefer the all black but between ur choices i would go black top and pink bottom

He most commonly wore all black sometimes mixed tops and bottoms and rarely all pink. None of them are really definitive. To me mostly black is what he wore most so it'd be closest to definitive

So, since you aren't interested in both, what are your plans for the other halves of those figures after you make the one you want?

Black top, pink tights. No question. Wish Mattel would make that proper with the BOPPV head for a definitive late-era Bret.

Yeah chip since you'll still have both halves then definately just make both!
Imo the Definitive Bret is DM5.

This needs to come out as a retail Flashback:  Hitman on the side, pre-HF '97 jacket, all the boot detail - that's Bret's definitive look. Additionally...we need to see this SS '96 one somewhere else:  Because it's a never-before-done (not counting Jakks' BnB) one-off attire, with hot pink flames and orange trim, and it had his coolest looking jacket:  the tanktop here is not the same one at Survivor '96I want the first one with the same jacket as the RSC exclusive and the SS '96 one with a leather jacket like the DM. Those are my two "dream" Bret Hart figures. |

I would say pink tights black top but the leg sleeves throw that look off so if go with pink top black tights. That looks killer!

Other pink top black tights, but late 80's hart foundation style with matching anvil
I forgot don't waste your time with basics if you do this mattel make them in elite form
As for your qusetion keep both they both look great
