Biggest pop I ever heard was when I was live at Madison Square Garden, and Triple H returned from his quad injury. I think the pop for him spitting out his water was even greater than when he came through the curtain. That really was great. Would've been cool to see live.

its easily this.......Jan 4th 99.you couldnt even hear Cole & Lawler.yet another testament to Austins popularity. made even more impressive by the fact that 1)Austin was a full timer and not returning 2)he wasnt in front of his hometown it was louder than the Harts @ IYH Stampede,or any of the returns at RRs or MSG.

Punk at MITB 2011 rocks return before wm 27 brocks return. jericho at rumble those are some of the most recent big pops not getting into the historic pops.

I still believe that Brocks return pop was bigger than Austins from January 4th 1999

Hulk Hogan's entrance at WrestleMania 6 and again at WrestleMania 18. Being there live for first was amazing. Always regretted not going back for WrestleMania 18.
Another great mention was the Big Event in Toronto, another Hogan pop, even though it was outdoors the pop was amazing.

That one's up there for me too. In person, Punk's entrance at MITB 2011. Never in my life have I heard entrance music drowned out by nothing but chants. That was unreal.

There's too many to remember so I'm gonna limit this to pops when I've been in the building.
As much as I dislike him, the Rock at Survivor Series last year got the hugest pop I've ever witnessed. The building felt like it was shaking.
Another good one was Jeff Hardy at a 2008 house show. I thought I was gonna go deaf when his music hit.

This has always done it for me. Grown men jumping around and going crazy when Austin came out, was carnage!

At the risk of being unpopular....
When I saw Hulk Hogan at a Superstars taping at Hersheypark Arena in 1990, I was a little kid but I'd never heard anything like that - blew the roof off th place - and learned that is what "Hulkamania" is about. The place was electric.
Saw Hogan again at a Raw taping in Philly around the time he was feuding with HBK. My seats were so bad, my head was hitting the ceiling of the Wells Fargo Center - and the pop was deafening and continuous.
There was a really fun dark match main event that night - Hogan, John Cena, and Batista defeated JBL, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels - I'd love for them to release that match on DVD someday.... HBK split his pants during the match, it was pretty funny. The team of Hogan, Cena, and Batista got a gigantic pop...
