They united the Womens and Tag titles but why have they still not united the WWE and World title?
The world title has had it's day and 1 champion is much better and has more of an impact than 2 so if the world title is retired the IC could become important again and act as the secondary title like it used to.

two different tours of house shows... and lets clog the main event with only a few people going for the big title... dont we see enough bitching about cena, sheamus, orton, del rio , and all the same guys alllll the time? wouldnt it only get worse?

They kinda need what they have. The roster is so big if they only had one title too many guys would be floating around without anything to do.

Yes,i did. They had 1 champion..i get it. But if we had only 1 main title Cena will be taking up all the spotlight. The brands are still split...Guys like Dolph Ziggler,Jack Swagger,Wade Barret can compete for the WHC...and guys like Punk,Cena,The rock,etc...can compete for the WWE title.

With them rebranding the House Shows, and making them non Brand-Specific anymore, I think if the World Heavyweight Championship has to be merged with the WWE title, it will be this year (or maybe next year). If it doesn't happen by then, they it seems like the World title will be used like it is right now I guess for the "B-Level" Main Eventers.

WWE lost its heat after all the HUGE stars that defined the brands left and now you have a bunch of ass clowns running all over wwe kick some of their rookie asses back to fcw and only focus the show on a couple of people and build stats work o ya team divisions and build feuds instead of having radon ass pointless matches and squash matches.

Titles are merely storyline props nowadays. They still make a big deal of the WWE title because it's "theirs" but everything else is just filler.
I'm perfectly happy with having Tag, World, US & IC. It gives enough people at least a chance to do something important.

I agree with what you are saying. The WHC lost its credibility a long time ago and it looks like there is no brand split these days so there should only be 1 WWE Worlds Heavyweight Champion. Guys like Sheamus, Daniel Bryan and others should be competing for the Intercontinental Championship and making this belt a lot more important like it used to be. Maybe even bring in a stipulation that when you win the Intercontinental Title then you are rewarded with a shot at the WWE Title sometime in the near future.

The WWE's problem isn't the number of titles they have, it's how those titles are booked. If the World title was treated as something as important as the WWE championship then the fans who watch would agree, but seeing as it is being booked as a step below the WWE title that is how the fans are treating it.
The I.C. & US titles are treated as jokes considering nearly everyone of those champions ends up losing to the nearly every one they face until they have to defend those titles. I would love to see the I.C. & US champions treated better by the "writers" and have them actual win matches on a more frequent basis, especially when they face guys who are "higher" on the card.

The WHC is indeed the B level main event title.
I couldn't hate it still being around anymore than i already do. An heavyweight title should be an elite thing. People in here are talking about guys like Ziggler etc. getting a chance to hold the belt and i understand but disagree. If you're not good enough to be WWE champion in the WWE than sit in the midcard where you belong.

I actually agree. The status the whc is given now should be given to the i.c. title and the world title should be shelved. The less titles we have the more chance there is that any of them will seem to mean anything. Right now the us title and Wwe title are the only ones I view as holding any real prestige because of the length and matches associated in recent times w those titles

This reminds me of that weird period in the early 90's when WCW had the 'world title' and the 'international world title.' You didn't really know which one was supposed to be important. Both belts were top of the card titles based on the talent involved in the matches, but the international belt was usually defended in the middle of the card and the world title was at the top. Then they finally wised up and unified them when Flair beat Sting.
I hate having the two belts. I hated it years ago and I hate it now. I also hate that they're taking the Big Gold Belt...one of the best looking and historic titles in wrestling, and making it a glorified IC belt.
What I would do is unify the belts but keep the Big Gold Belt as the actual title belt. It'll never happen but it'd be nice.

If I ran WWE, I'd make it so to be eligible for the WWE Championship, you must have held the World Heavyweight Championship at least once.
