The WWE Universe has itself a new WWE Championship, but the big question now is: Who will challenge for the fresh-faced prize at WrestleMania 29? On the one hand, you have John Cena, the current No. 1 contender following his Royal Rumble Match victory in January. On the other is CM Punk, who goaded Cena into putting his WrestleMania WWE Title opportunity up for grabs in a one-on-one renewal of their long-running rivalry. While Cena and Punk settle their score, however, trouble is brewing in Team Hell No’s shaky friendship, and Paul Heyman gets ready for the fight of his life against an injured — but eager — Mr. McMahon. Here are five things to look forward to on Monday’s Raw.
Also, the WWE Universe eagerly awaits Glenn Beck’s reply to the formal invitation from WWE officials to address his criticisms of Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Will the famous politico show? A fighting chance A wise man from Philly once said, “It ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!” Well, we hope Paul Heyman takes those words to heart because even injured and on crutches, Mr. McMahon is gonna hit him hard.
To clarify on how Heyman found himself in this current predicament, The Chairman took advantage of Heyman’s ill-advised promise to do “anything” to remove The Rock’s “champion’s advantage” against CM Punk at WWE Elimination Chamber. Mr. McMahon’s price? Forcing the ECW mastermind into a fight — not a match, mind you, a fight — live on Raw. Hopefully, Heyman picked up a trick or two from his former Philadelphia charges, because he’s going to need every trick in the book when he throws hands with The Chairman of the Board. We’d start punching those sides of beef about now if we were you, Paul EHell (No) in a handbasketTeam Hell No’s alliance has been shaky at best from the very beginning, and it didn’t help that the WWE Tag Team Champions were pit against each other in both the Royal RumbleandElimination Chamber Matches, just as they were starting to get into a really good groove. All their progress as pals just about went out the window last week when Bryan came down to ringside for Kane’s match with Randy Orton — violating the expressed wishes of The Big Red Machine in the process. Needless to say, the “No!” man’s presence cost his bro the bout, and we’re expecting the fallout to be appropriately fiery come Monday. Justice is foreverCan anyone stop The Shield? Given the events of WWE Elimination Chamber and Raw the next night, the answer thus far seems to be an emphatic “no.” The NXT invaders triumphed over not one but two all-star teams — John Cena, Ryback & Sheamus at the pay-per-view, then Ryback, Sheamus & Chris Jericho the next night — and did so in convincing fashion, to boot. While The Shield triumphs anew, though, Ryback’s frustration grows. He has been looking for months to deliver The Shield their comeuppance and has come up short each time. What avenue will he pursue against his trio of tormentors this week?Check out the big brain on BradGive Brad Maddox some credit: The once-shamed former referee managed the turnaround of the century by snitching on Paul Heyman, parlaying the goodwill he earned with Mr. McMahon into a position as Assistant to the Managing Supervisor on Raw. Why Vickie Guerrero would trust the man who nearly singlehandedly derailed her show (and who already appears to be making subtle power plays against his boss) is not yet fully clear, but Maddox has proven to be quite the wild card whenever he appears on WWE television. Frankly, we’reveryinterested to see where this all goes next.Cena vs. Punk: Once more, with feelingAnd now we bring it around to what has become something of WWE’s marquee rivalry, even if its two participants have only actually battled a handful of times. Whenever John Cena and CM Punk collide, it’s an instant classic, and this particular bout carries the added weight of a WrestleMania WWE Championship Match on the line.
John Cena, haunted by his failure at WrestleMania XXVIII, has been secretly stewing for another opportunity at The Rock since that fateful night in Miami. CM Punk has proven he will do anything to get his precious WWE Championship back. History and personal vindication are at stake for both men. Tune in to Raw Monday at 8/7 CT to see who’s headed to New Jersey, and who’s going home without a match on The Grandest Stage of Them All.Write-up via WWE.com Also with The Rock not being on RAW tonight, we won't have to see this ugly pile of crap called the WWE Championship. vs.

Let me know if anybody is offended by my calling the new WWE Title a pile of crap. I'll gladly remove it to avoid arguing.

I hope The Undertaker is on! I'm going to be disappointed if he is not.

While far from a big fan, I've voted for the new WWE Title because it looks pretty great in the pic. I was indifferent to the previous design.
If I had to take a punt I'd say CM Punk will get into the 'Mania WWE Title match tonight.

Is it fair to say that tonight's Raw has more hype surrounding it than several Pay-Per-Views in the last twelve months?

Also, lets hope Punk gets into the WWE Title match. He deserves to main event Mania.

Wow after reading that preview I just realized how huge tonights Raw is. Brock, Rock, Taker, HHH, Vince, in addition to the awesomeness that is Swagger/Colter, Punk vs Cena with the title shot at stake, the great Brad Maddox, Ryback and the Sheild. This is gonna be GOOD!

Really excited for Punk/Cena tonight.
If this is true, cool to see we'll have another whole episode of RAW without the WWE Champion!

If Rock isn't going to wrestle on RAW, I'd rather him not be there at all, because his promos are essentially all identical. He never comes on until 11:02pm, and here is the formula for almost every RAW he's done since being back.
Finally..... Smile Joke Swear Swear Swear Rock vows he will beat your bitch ass Smile If ya smelllllllllllllllllllllllll........
*RAW ends*
I like Rock and I'm glad he's back in WWE and wrestling on the PPV's, but his RAW appearances are a MONUMENTAL waste of time. Him not being there tonight, if nothing else, means at least that 15 minutes will go toward somebody else.

I'm looking forward to Raw tonight, if Rock isn't that, that means Brock will be. Win-Win.

'Finally!'
'I've got goosebumps.'
'The Rock got up at 5am!'
'The Rock was driving down the [insert highway here]'
'The Rock checked in at [insert local bar/ restaurant here]'
*Invents juvenile but admittedly amusing insult*
*Claims to win match*
*Monkey b*tch punk ass*
'If ya Smeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!1'
*Goes on to win just as he had previously assured the fans*
That's my take on a current-day Rock promo.

Hopefully Swagger doesn't get canned tonight. Even though he screwed up who really cares? We all know it was stupid of him to do that because he could of killed/hurt someone because of his drunk driving and even though weed isn't actually a bad thing its still illegal so the possession of it was another slip up from Swagger but with all the attention WWE has gotten and will continue to get from this angle makes me think that Vince won't be stupid enough to end it before it really got started. You can't really go from this golden angle to Del Rio vs Ziggler, Orton or even Mark Henry and even though those three matches would be good but this angle is really something different and it could also really make Del Rio & Swagger.
Hoping for some good action between Lesnar, HHH, Heyman & Vince. Also hoping Punk gets in way into the WM main event even though I want Taker vs Punk so an Undertaker return tonight would be epic along with some more Swagger/Colter.

I really hope they just give Swagger a slap on the wrists for his screw up. He's in one of the hottest angles WWE has seen in about 4-5 years and finally elevated his game.
Cannot wait to see what happens tonight.

Why is Heyman scared about fighting Vince? The guy just had hip replacement surgery I personally believe that he knows that it is going to end badly for Vince. Brock is on the horizon. He will have Vinces blood on his hands.
