Honestly I was disappointed that they showed Undertaker's entrance right before Cena/Punk. If he really is around there's no one else for him to face and it kind of made it obvious that Cena would win to me. Really disappointing RAW honestly, there just seems to be little to no direction with over half the roster and it's WRESTLEMANIA season. At least Punk/Cena had a good match.

No Taker? this. Yea, that's what I was saying - although I can't really find a way for it to make sense - why would he want to get involved in the Punk/Cena storyline? What would motivate him to interfere? I guess he'll come out next week during "Old School" Raw - who is more "Old School" than Undertaker?

So how's that new WWE Championship doing? oh that's right we didn't even SEE the belt on live TV last night. what a ing joke. Punk/Cena was pretty damn awesome to be honest. It was a perfectly worked match, the two guys trying to wear each other down in the beginning....realizing that didn't work so they literally busted out as many power/finishing style moves that they could and it STILL didn't work. Plus the crowd was apecrapby the end cheering for pretty much everything. The finish was fine, because essentially it became "who can hit the next finishing move" and in the end they had to let Cena have this one. What it boils down to is Punk/Cena is pretty much this generations Austin/Rock. Without the repetition of matches. Each time these guys have squared off it's been different, and it's been damn great. They haven't over-exposed either of them and all the matches they have had have been 50x better than their matches with Rock respectively. All I want in life is good WRESTLING and last night we were treated to that.

The match had a PPV quality feel to it, with both men delivering big time. The hot crowd made a huge difference to the vibe, and the multiple kick-outs and false finishes were great. In the end, although I'm not a Cena fan, I found myself cheering for both men.

I enjoyed RAW alot. Fantastic open and finish. But I will say one thing.. I feel really bad for Punk. He's really gotten shafted here. It's likely we'll never see him actually go on last at a WrestleMania. Not only that, but John Cena just pinned him cleanly so I'm not sure how were supposed to believe he can best The Undertaker. It's truly unfair for Punk to have a year like he did and not get the Main Event of WrestleMania for it. Still, I realize why they went with Rock/Cena II.

Can you guys honestly tell me this is what you sit through week in and week out? Ever since Raw went 3 hours, pretty much. I usually have it on record and start an hour later, so I could forward the filler.

I think they should align Punk with The Shield now... he would regain any steam he may have lost with the casual fan who doesn't think he could beat 'Taker (I happen to think he could).
But anyone could believe that a motivated CM Punk with The Shield backing him up could be unstoppable - even by the Undertaker at Wrestlemania...
Hell, maybe someone shows up to back 'Taker up? Stone Cold, setting up the main event for Wrestlemania 30?
So my next question - if it's Taker VS. John Cena in Taker's final match, and Stone Cold VS. CM Punk next year - which match goes on LAST?
I know, I hate people who are already speculating on next year's card when we haven't even really ironed out this year's lineup yet...

How many times can we see that damn match?

Ok so most of this show ranged from mediocre to terrible. BUT, the opener was pretty great, and more importantly, the main event was ing phenomenal. Punk and Cena seriously bring the best out of each other. The Piledriver and world's sloppiest Hurricanrana were awesome. Possibly my favorite ever Raw match.

It's a good thing Punk is wrestling Undertaker at Wrestlemania, since he's being straight buried. He wasn't buried at all. Stop using terms that you don't know the meaning of.

Main event was radaz, loved it. The pile driver was excellent. Thought Cena's attempt at the hurricarana was great as well, I'd love to see it executed. Cena's top rope leg drop was insanely high! Friggin' got some air on that. And as far as Punks high knee, goodness, Cena dropped like a girl at prom, he looked gassed after that.
Punk's promo of being an "Icon," "Immortal," And "God," that for me was setting up Taker, I hope Taker comes out next week and cuts a promo on Punk, saying 5 minutes in the ring with him, at WrestleMania, will make Punk famous.
Swagger vs Del Rio will be good, shaping up nicely, maybe Swaggers punishment was no live entrance when he fought Miz...
Orton going over Cesaro made no sense, again.
Ziggler being beaten by Ryback sucked, that doesn't make sense... What will those four's role be at Mania? Probably getting Ryback, Sheamus, and Orton vs The Shield makes sense. Cesaro? Ziggler? Where do these guys come in? Two future huge main eventers, I dont get it?
Good Raw overall, Can't wait till next week for more development.
I feel like these matches, like the big 4, are having no time to build. Cena/Rock happened once, so maybe it doesn't, same for Lesnar/HHH, but like Punk/Taker will get what? 3/4 weeks? And Swagger and Del Rio need to get more development, and need some physicality to get this thing moving.
What else will be on the card? Nothing is being built up!?!?!

GREAT main event. I am in no way shape or form a fan of Cena, but he ing brought it last night. The hurricanrana was awesome, and from what I learned during my time training to be a wrestler, it was Punk that screwed it up. The false finishes were insane, the piledriver was perfect and I'd say it was the best free tv match I've seen in the past few years.

Every time Cena does the hurricanrana he never lets his body go through with it. Lands on his upper back and neck every single time. Wasn't bad but you can tell its not a move he should be doing.
