this is probably the biggest noob question ever but i was just wondering if it's possible to use a permanent markers to make cm punks shoulder tattoos or any other tattoo or whatever. if it can't be done then please tell me what kind of paint i need, how long it'll take to dry, a step by step method if possible. thanks.

Don't use a marker, it'll bleed into the plastic and change colour over time. Use acrylic paint and a thin brush or for a factory looking tattoo, order some decals from Dean on here.

Don't get cheap acrylic paint either. Use p3 products. or citadel paints or even the army painter paints. Also a fine super detail brush Like twist suggested. What I do before I paint detailed tattoos is get a piece of paper and do a rough sketch of what you want it gives you a little practice, an idea of what you want to do and an idea of what you can do. When it comes to applying them just take your time. I hope this helps a little bit. Also decals are a good option for the larger figures because tattoos can prove to be very difficult. Good luck
