So, next Sunday these games will overlap and both will be shown on telly. I'm interested in both because they are potentially excellent games but torn about which one to watch, or how to watch both. If you record one while watching the other, they may provide updates on the score, spoiling the outcome of the game. You may also choose to watch neither in the interest of fairness (and stupidity). Which one will you be watching? Premier League or FA Cup Quarter Final? I expect plenty of biases

Neither. I couldn't watch a game where there is no team I would prefer to win. It's not possible for all 4 to lose so I'm out.

Liverpool vs Spurs. Not only does the FA Cup bore me nowadays but the prospect of seing 2 good attacking teams is enough to edge it. Might flick over and just check the score but that's as far as I'll go out of my way.

Man United vs Chelsea, for no other reason that the ship doesn't have Sky. Otherwise it'd be Liverpool vs Spurs.

Sometimes, depending on the team. But not when the matches involve two teams that I do not like. So I couldn't watch Man Utd/Chelsea for example 'cos they are two of my most disliked teams but I'll probably watch Man Utd/Real Madrid this week 'cos Real are decent and I can root for a demolition of Man Utd.

Out of curiosity, why do you like watching Real Madrid but not United or Chelsea? I never usually watch Real. But they have a few players that I like (Coentrao, Khedira, Ozil, Benzema, Xabi Alonso) and I'll have the TV on in the background anyway so it might as well be a Champions League match that I can keep an eye on while I'm up to something. There are no Utd or Chelsea players that I remotely like, besides the team as a whole, so there is 0% interest from me. I didn't even watch them in the Champions League final and I usually watch that regardless.

Cuz there's some amazing talent in both Chelsea and Man Utd.

I'd like to say it's because of the teams they play for but it's not necessarily true because I liked Gibson a lot even though he was at Utd. But he was the only exception. I don't care for most of the players at either team currently and I don't really want to watch them. Unless they are playing a team I do like of course.

Spurs game for me. If it was Arsenal instead of Spurs, I'd still watch that. We're out of the FA Cup so it's not as interesting plus most games at Old Trafford are easy wins for United and rarely exciting.

I'll be watching us get pumped off Spurs. Been our bogey team the past few seasons. Correct me if I'm wrong but the last team we beat them Rafa was out manager and Kuyt scored a pen.

Yeah, 2-0 in the 09/10 season I think at Anfield. Was a Tuesday or Wednesday night, live on Sky. Same night as Villa vs Blackburn in the League Cup Semi. Don't ask me how I can remember.
