I agree with pretty much everything you said.
Unfortunately when WCW folded, Vince had no competition so he could put on a show for him more than us now and we will swallow it because its the only big time wrestling we can watch on our TV.
In the early days we got the Vince style wrestling on Raw but Smackdown was kept as the wrestling show but its basically Raw Junior now, the lack of differentiation in the brand is shocking. I would prefer if they either get rid of the World Title and elevate the two mid card titles to where the World title is now or reform the brands and stick to them more like it was when they where first created.
It wont change because no matter how dissapointed i am with the product, I will still watch most of the time and so will most people so until there is something huge that makes the majority of WWEs fans turn off or there is a big take over of the company then it wont change much at all.

I agree that the company has to move and develop with the times but I tuned into Raw live for the first time in 4 years last Monday and was totally let down with what I saw. I wouldn't even call half of the match up's 'matches'. Take this monday for example, Clay and Tensai vs. 3MB...what was the actual point of that match? There are some really skilled guys who have alot to show off yet we never get to see it.
We have people complaining that the likes of Henry and Khali get too much screen time, if the matches are all of the same quality and last for a matter of seconds, what does it matter? You could roll two potatoes around the ring and it would make for better enterainment than the bullcrapI've seen over the past two weeks.

If nothing else, then this: These guys looked great on Monday. I would love to see them return and have a few more matches

Despite the fact that I watch every week without fail, I find it hard to not agree with your points. I wish there wasn't so much focus on trying to be "with the times" pop culture wise and I could do without all the social media mumbo jumbo but I can tell you what keeps me watching.
Guys like Bryan, Ziggler, Punk, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns.
I also keep watching for that moment even though be it rare that I'm on the edge of my seat and can feel the electricity of the moment...
Punk Vs. Cena MITB 2011 Punk Vs. Cena NOC 2012 Cena Vs. Brock ER 2012 Cena Vs Punk Raw from just barely two weeks ago Taker Vs. HHH WM 28
There are plenty of reasons to still like wrestling if you're willing to deal with the other stuff along with it.

wwe now aims to kids. they tend to have short attention spans. they don't want to see long classics, they could care less about technicality, wwe is catering to the wrong age range to keep REAL WRESTLING on planet earth in the main stream. back in the day for any era it was all about the wrestling. and funny but brutal spots from the attitude era. so yeah, its they're demographic, your not a little kid so you aren't impressed like they would be.

I find the current mainstream scene as interesting and entertaining as the vaunted Attitude Era, in fact, I like what we have now. I won't get into some long winded rant, but simple fact is, it's a new era of wrestling, they have to try and grow with the times.
And if you don't like the WWE or TNA, that's fine. But you have so many options. Ring of Honor, CHIKARA, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Combat Zone, Evolve, New Japan, Big Japan, CMLL, AAA, and that's just scratching the surface(barely even) there is so much wrestling out there. And it's easy to get into, so don't pull that "it's hard to find" or "it's too expensive" card. It's not, digital downloads and sites like Rudo Reels make getting into the higher quality indy feds and the puro feds easier than ever. And you have youtube, that features so much modern day wrestling, it's unbelievable. You can search a simple term like "title match", filter to this month, and watch something you've never seen before that took place two days ago or 2 weeks ago. From all over the world.
