Well.... Dominick Cruz isn't coming back anytime soon I really think if Barao has to defend the interim title again after this, they should promote him to champion "proper". It may be harsh on Cruz - but by that time, he will have been out of action for about two years. |

Some reports are saying Barao has injured his foot and will have to pull out of UFC 161. Which would suck... both the champ and the interim champ out of action.

Evans/Henderson has been bumped up to the main event slot. It will be a 3 round fight.

Nelson vs Miocic added to the card. Now ill probably be ordering it as Nelson fights are always exciting

Noguiera is out they are looking for a replacement for Shogun to fight.
Personally I rather see them change the main event Hendo Vs Rua 2

go with phil davis, he took minimal damage vs magalhaes

best i could find on any medical suspension for him... im assuming he'd have been cleared by now, since they didnt give any definitive date.

I was really looking forward to the Little Nog/Shogun rematch. If they could do Hendo/Shogun 2, that would be amazing... kind of leaves Rashad's out in the cold though. |

Sonnen would surely make it interesting in the build up. I mean Hendo vs. Rashad would likely be boring. Rashad is IMO boring always trying to just wrestle them down and tire them out and then strike. The most entertaining to me Rashad has even been was against Lyoto Machida and thats only because when he got knocked out he contorted something crazy.

Yeah I mean Rashad doesn't care about the fans. I mean how many times has his game plan be described as if the crowd is booing your doing the right thing. YES IF THEY DON'T BUY YOUR NEXT FIGHT CARD YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING!!! I mean really. Jon Jones is kicking butt and taking names and holding that title longer then rashad ever did trying to wear them out and drag it to a decision.

If this fight is on, then it is a VERY winnable fight for Chael. I'd love to see him do it, too. Where Shogun is not the best (defending takedowns from strong wrestlers) is where Chael is strongest. So its an interesting fight there, and with the Sonnen/Wandy & Brazil history, it makes for an even better fight.

I have never liked Sonnen, but I would love to see him step in & take this fight. Shogun has no cardio, so it's possible Sonnen could wear him down & get a win.
