I actually agree with you man. You cant blame the footballers for taking their wage packets...if your offered 250k a week for kicking a ball then you run with the money. If you wanna go to war then sign up.

My new hate is people downloading 4 pictures 1 word and then posting every single ing one on Facebook as they dont know what it is. Hows about download a game you can actually play.

To be honest I'm not sick of it. I'm sick of footballers collecting £250k per week and soldiers and ex soldiers earning small money for defending our country. I know quite a few ex soldiers who now live on benefits due to the mental strain and can't function correctly after army life. They're Is no help for them. Why don't footballers help. They've got millions.

Btw I stopped paying to watch football in 2005. I can't understand how it's nearly £50 for 90mins of football, then travel to get there. Food and drink lets say £80 plus, programme, items from the club shop. So upto £100 a match. When we are all getting hammered with tax by the government and alot of us struggle to survive. So the likes of Carlos Teves earns £150k per week and really doesn't care for the fans or club he's with.

Exactly, ive never had a facebook profile or twitter its absolute nonsense. An email address or a phone number is sufficient to stay in touch with people. Also agree with your previous post, i stopped subscribing to the sports channels long ago because i lost any emotional attachment to these football clubs and im glad to say i dont miss it in the least.

I don't get why people compare, but I don't agree footballer's earn their wage, especially for what a lot of them are on for it. They are way overpaid.

I could've worded it better. But realistically, who in their right mind would turn down money like that? I don't know why people criticize them for it when it's not their fault, it's the club owners / chairman who offer them the wages. If someone offers you a lot of money, you're going to take it.

I'm not saying they should turn it down, I'm just saying that it's actually insane how much they get paid, No job in the world is work 100k a week.

I understand all points here and fair play we are entitled to them.

Yes bankers and business men do earn a lot of money. There should be a cap on what they receive but it won't happen as these money chasers will disappear to money rich countries for even more money. Mercenaries.

It's a sad situation really. As its said money is the route of all evil. And it's true. Maybe a happy medium here is a higher tax on bankers and footballers.

I turned Facebook off about 15 months back. It got abit crazy. I'd talk for hours online to so called friends then see them in the street and they wouldn't say hello.

I don't see how them being skilled is a valid reason for their wages. I'd say it takes much more skill to be a surgeon than a footballer.
