I'm confused, didn't they already do Toon (aka Windwaker) Link? Would be typical Jakks that they're so short on knowledge and imagination that they resort to just doing more re-releases instead of something like LTTP Link. They never made Toon Link in the Definitive line, only in the 2.5" line.

Well until Jakks gets their act together and makes a classic SNES LTTP Link figure (and an actual figure, not a pixel-art standee), I'm setting my sights on this: news.toyark.com/2016/01/07/figma-link-legend-zelda-link-worlds-186959Obviously it's actually based on Link Between Worlds, but some slight repainting and tweaks will make it passable as representing LTTP I think. So happy to see the new alternate serious head. Didn't think much to the "happy" head. Still hoping Jakks will do more SNES-era based figures soon though.

Any of you guys in Canada want to trade a Bowser for a Metroid? My TRU finally cleared their DKs and restocked with more wave 1, so someone suggested working a deal with someone in Canada where wave 2 was more abundant.

Found new series at TRU today and grabbed Shiek. Had all but Bowser Jr.

Word on the street is that the 6" line is cancelled- many are placing the blame square on Donkey Kong's hairy shoulders.
Just found Metroid at TRU on Saturday morning so if anyone is still looking- now is the time to do so!!
Think the 4" and 2.5" stuff as well as microland stuff is safe. Hopefully Toy Fair will shed more light.
Walmarts here are getting a new set of checkout lane 2.5" figures. This set has regular Mario and Luigi, Peach, Toon Link, Deku Link- don't think there are any chases this time around.

King Dedede would be ok, but hes owned by HAL anyways. The 4" line is where most should fall I think

Am I the only one who can't believe they haven't made any Punch-Out figures yet? I am dying for them!

Am I the only one who can't believe they haven't made any Punch-Out figures yet? I am dying for them! It's Jakks, we should probably think ourselves lucky they haven't run out of ideas and cancelled the line already. Though of course they already gave up on the 6-inch line - incomprehensively without even attempting a Samus or Link at that scale, which is laughably pathetic. I just can't understand how they can not have made or yet scheduled obvious essentials like LTTP style Link, Super Metroid style Samus, Mario World style Mario, classic Captain Falcon, and so many more classic versions of characters. Or even just some proper figures of characters in their original NES ARTWORK style (i.e. not pixel-art stand-ups). So many great CLASSIC figures could be made, but they're barely doing any. As can be seen from most of my posts in this thread, I am extremely frustrated with Jakks lack of imagination, lack of commitment, and general lack of knowledge/respect for Nintendo's rich history.
