you're going to have to split the torso to switch the arms, which would technically damage the figure. If you're really good at it, you can do a good split and it will glue back together like nothing ever happened.

+1 for iknowcool.
Yeah, you're gonna have to split the torso. Reason being, TTL arms don't have the bicep-cut articulation; therefore, you're gonna have to remove the shoulder part of the arm too.

theres a tutorial in the FAQs. Really, theres not much more to say than what is in the FAQ.. its not the easiest thing to do, and I'd reccommend practicing on a figure you don't like. You can try boiling the torso first to loosen the glue, but I haven't necessarily noticed a difference when I do that.

Here's one thing the FAQ may not tell you.
Opening that TTL body to make it capable of taking RA arms should be fairly easy. TTL bodies usually crack open quickly, and with little damage to the body. I often manage to get them open in a matter of a minute or so.
The RA body on the other hand, could be much harder. The glue seems much stronger, which basically means you can easily crack the body in the wrong way (like literally crack or bend it).
For doing either task, patience is sort of key. Sadly, with the RA's, it's also a thing of luck. Some just randomly pop open easier than others.
