Hey guys I'm making another velvet sky for my custom velvet collection. But need help, I'm not the best painter in the world and wondered if there is a easy way to do the small writing on figures!! It's a pain! Also I'm using a Maddison rayne torso and can you believe I just rubbed her belly tattoo off with my bare finger (pretty poor) I'll shoot a pic when I work this writing skill out Thanks in advance! update ** below is my figure so far now im no pro and it needs a little tidying up - but the lettering is hard!! haha and i wanna make the hair less yellow - appreciate your comments and help. (also included my ref pic)

For the writing, you'll need a very tiny brush. I feel your pain, but it's true, practice makes perfect. The only other option would be to use decal paper. Then you can design it on your computer, print it out and stick it on. Probably easier, but it just involves getting the proper paper.

Have u tried using toothpicks to paint? Make sure the paint is thin enough to make it easier.

A very thin brush or a cocktail stick should do the trick.

The lettering looks good. As for the hair, your ref pic isn't showing up, but I assume it's the same colour as in your sig. Mix some cream and yellow. You don't want to use a bright yellow though, so maybe a brownish-yellow might work better. I have a candlelight and golden brown from Delta that I think could work. I haven't tried it, so I'm not totally sure. If you don't have those colours, you can google image search them and match up to ones you have, since I'm not sure how they compare to other companies' colours. But you'll probably put in more of the cream, with just a touch of the brown/yellow to darken it and give it slight colour.

Many thanks for your input! I'm still a novice so all help is noted! And as they say I gues practice will make perfect
