Was browsing the Ringside side and remembered awhile ago they had a pretty decent stock of loose figures. With cheaper shipping, and good prices.
Wondering if you guys were planning on doing that again? Was it actually successful, worth your time. etc.
I personally had bought a fair few of those loose deals, I open 95% of my collection so paying extra for a figure in a package im just goin to open and throw away always feels like a waste. I loved the fact I was able to buy package quality figures without the "hassle"

I was actually thinking the same thing but also maybe give us an option such as letting us choose to have figures shipped from them loose to help us save money. especially those who take them out of their packaging anyways. anyone else ever thought of that?

That would be great. I know when trading here it cost less to send & receive figs that are loose & I just open anything that comes in a package anyway. If RSC gave us that option they'd get a lot more of my business.

I'm an opener as well, so I might have to get in on this if it ever happens again.

Yeah I agree I open, and display all my figures so if they could figure out a cheaper method it would be great. I also hate living in NY, and having to pay out the nose for shipping when they're based in NY as well.

If RSC gave us that option they'd get a lot more of my business. exactly!! if they did give us that option then I would gladly buy more from them instead of waiting/hoping to find them at retail. shipping a loose figures would maybe cost $3 including tracking and maybe just charge an additional $1-$1.50 for each additional figure bought. heck even if I were to buy 20 figures lets just say, they could fit them into a flat rate box and it would cost maybe a couple of dollars more than what we pay for just one MOC figure.

Yeah, but it would take them more man power to open boxes, secure them with bubble wrap and tape. In the end, the time and effort vs cost and already efficient techniques wouldn't be worth the effort on there part. I suspect that's why we see, somewhat of, an influx of discounted Damaged boxes these day.

It would cost them more to dispose of the packaging as well. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I would like to see them too. My only complaint was that they still charged the same shipping as moc figs.

If there was an option for loose figures with cheaper shipping, I would start ordering a large amount of stuff from RSC instead of solely relying on retail.
