I picked up an AD 1 Hardy & the pants are slightly yellowed. Can this be fixed?

i dont know maybe fingernail polish remover or just paint it if u want if i were u id leave it alone

I'd try letting it soak in hot soapy water for a while and then try to rub it off -- if it's in the plastic this most likely won't work, but if it's on the plastic's surface, you could probably make it look better. Not sure if you'll take it all off.
If white is the base color of the plastic, I'd also try using pure acetone. Just be sure not to get it on the black trim of the pants.

That would absolutely kill the value of the figure -- Between leaving it slightly yellowed and painting over it to restore the color, leaving it slightly yellowed is the better choice. It's not going to be as valuable as a MOC or even loose Hardy with yellowed pants, but painting over it would make it worth even less.
