I have 9 transactions from things I sold that I am still awaiting positive feedback on. Of course, I already left the buyers positive feedback. Some go back as far as January. The one buyer has a feedback rating of over 2000 and I saw that people have been leaving him feedback as recent as yesterday. The last time he left feedback for someone.......December.

Not sure if this fits here, but yeah, It's annoying, also when they don't reply to messages.

I always include a hand written thank you note that has a reminder for feedback. Seems to help for the most part, but there will always be people who dont leave feedback.

Wrong topic man. Don't think ya realized putting this in the Mattel figure board, that has nothing to do with Mattel figures. Also, No one is required to leave you any feedback if they don't want to. Its not a mandatory, law made rule to return feedback. It's just something you have to expect not to get. Your job is to sell your products on ebay, not force ppl to give you a good rating if they don't want, or to expect things from ppl. Good ppl should return feedback, but are not required to.

Just send them a message an eBay politely reminding them to leave you feedback. That always works for me.

Hey newb, no need to tell me where this belongs. And since all the transactions were Mattel figures, it fits I guess. Plus there have been plenty of ebay related threads on this board. No need to bring your anger from something I said in another thread into here. I never stated that feedback was mandatory. It is still allowed to annoy me. Read the entire post before you pick out only what you want to read and nitpick at that. Have a drink and a sandwich and relax.

I almost never go more 24 hrs without leaving feedback. If I have the time to open the package and check the items, I should have enough time to click some stars and type a sentence.

That is annoying, but I will take that over the idiots on Amazon who give you negative feedback after the item hasn't arrived after two days and are too lazy to change it when the item arrives.

I'm in the same boat....althought I've got about 30 transactions with no reciprocated feedback. It's pretty crapt to be honest, I know it's not "mandatory" but it's common courtesy, Ebay is a community and if sellers never left feedback then buyers wouldn't be trusted. I dont think people realize that feedback is actually important to us. My rating would probably be well over 3000 at this point if everyone actually left feedback that should.
However it never stops me from not doing it. No one can ever say I don't do my part. But yes, ebay sucks. lol

I always leave feedback the day it arrives, when I get what I bought it usually reminds me to leave feedback.
I have ebay app on my phone so it takes no time at all, it saves what I previously typed to so I usually only have to enter the star ratings unless I want to change it because the seller was really top notch or awful.

I always leave feedback ASAP. Most people don't bother to anymore, and I guess it really doesn't matter all that much in the grand scheme of things... Once you're over say 100, it's just a number and you're pretty much verified as trustworthy. Lol.
BTW, the "newb" up there wasn't doing anything wrong. He was contributing to your thread, which is in the wrong area (not that I care, I just post here lol) chill out and enjoy a beer (if you're of legal age, that is!).

I think you guys need to just accept the fact that there are some people are just turds and move on. If you have 100 percent positive feedback or close to it, then those who have not left any feedback don't hurt you at all. Thats what i look at when thinking of buying or bidding on something from a seller.
No news is good news if you already have enough positive feedback ?? Thats what i think at least. But i always leave feedback when i get said item i paid for, 99 percent of the time its positive.

That's a shame and it would make me angry too.
I leave feedback every single time I buy or sell.
The one and only time I didn't leave any was the time I had a figure show up and the guy had sent me the wrong figure. I wanted him to re-send me the proper figure, but he said only if I (paid to have) shipped him the wrong one he sent me in the first place back. When I said no he refunded me, but never shipped the figure I won. I guess I could have left neutral feedback but I try not to leave neutral or negative feedback whenever possible.

Also, No hatred here. Just speaking the truth. No one has to give you feed back for nothing. Whether you like to hear it or not, it's true. Good ppl should do it, but are not required to. Also, You're the one posting non related topics, complaining cause someone didn't give you feedback. I'm just giving you the answer you should have got. So maybe you should eat a sandwich, have a beer and calm down bro. It's just feedback after all. You got your money from the deal which is most important.

My only negative was from someone that bought something on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend (I think it was Labor Day weekend) and they left me the negative because the item wasn't there on Tuesday. And I have almost 1100 positive feedback now. At this point since I'm over 1000 I don't really care to message people to leave feedback because I'd be inviting people to leave a neutral or negative for another stupid reason that was out of my hands. Plus, if you're messaging people twice (like the OP said he does) to leave feedback someone might leave you less than 5 stars on communication since you're just being annoying to them at that point.

Glad I came into this thread. I recently bought two items off eBay. Received them after I got home from work and getting ready to go out. I opened the stuff but forgot to leave feedback. I made sure to go to my eBay app and leave the feedback just now. I'm usually good with that stuff but I totally forgot. Really no good excuse. The eBay app even saves the lat feedback you wrote. I just give the same feedback unless it was something out of the ordinary.

A good rule of thumb if you sell on Ebay, inform your buyers that you do not leave feedback until it has been left for you. This should help prevent delays and some improper feedback as well.

I have mine set up through my seller preferences to automatically leave positive feedback once the buyer does the same.
