Decided to spam the Sports board with another thread.
Anyway, I've heard a lot about Mancini 'surely' being under review this season, especially if he fails to win the FA Cup. Personally I think its a load of bollocks, and that there's no way he'll get sacked. City's owners seem unfortunately reasonable, and I think the papers assume any rich owner will be as mad as Abramovich. But I don't think that's the case, and expect Mancini to be as deluded as ever in the City hotseat next season.

I think he MIGHT just be safe if they win the FA Cup. However if they don't, I think his time may be up. The owners seem to have patience with him, which is good, but he has really messed up this season. Constantly changing the tactics, their shambolic performances in the Champions League and their extremely boring, negative attitude to matches has really cost them.
Hearing alot about Pellegrini taking the reigns, which I can see, especially if Malaga's European ban is upheld, and Real Sociedad pip them to 4th spot.

He's lost the dressing room, so I reckon he'll be gone by the summer. I just hope Mourinho isn't that desperate to come back to English football as I reckon they'll offer it to him when he'll probably leave Madrid at the end of the season. I kind of want Mourinho to take over at Manchester United.

With any luck, although like already said, I'd be gutted to see Mourinho there.

Jose won't take over at United. We don't want the BS that comes with him, plus his lack of longevity is a worry. It'll be Giggs or Solskjaer if it happens in the next few years. TBH I can't see SAF leaving for another 5 years at least (and even then its health problems) so its a long way off.

If the boardroom know Mourinho is available at the end of the season, the likelihood is that they'll go for him. Got nothing to lose. I know if I was in charge there, I'd be bringing in Mourinho as soon as possible. Perfect person to get respect from the dressing room.

I hope he gets sacked, I can't stand him.

It'd be harsh if he did, but he seems to rely on a few key players and throws the towel in and sulks when he starts to lose (see final day of last season until they started to pull things back).

I think a lot of their players have under-performed this season. Not necessarily Mancini's fault, but can't see the owners viewing it that way.
