Its that time again! With my new acquisition of E20 and needing to make more room for new stuff, I had to pull everything off the walls (except for the Legends) and throw them into Rubbermaid containers. My figure count is up to 243 MOC figures, not counting my trade bait of coarse. Thats my wife buried among the figures keeping my spreadsheet up to date on the computer. Thanks for checking this out.

Your wife rules, man. MOC collections look amazing but my god, they take up so much space.

I just realized that aside from the spreadsheet, she's okay with you stacking figures on top of her.
Marry her again.

She probably is at least happy that there's a teddy bear in there to keep company, since the great wall of MOC figures has her barricaded in. Crazy, man. LOT of figures you've got...try and tell me you've never thought about an opening spree and having a giant rumble at some point?

Seems a little unnecessary to me, but then again, I don't have 200+ figures anymore, lol. I do have all of my DVDs and games in a spreadsheet... So, who am I talking?

If I could do it a million times I would, trust me Crazy, man. LOT of figures you've got...try and tell me you've never thought about an opening spree and having a giant rumble at some point? Oh for sure, I have wanted to open them all just to conserve space. But then again, displaying them MOC looks much better to me personally.

I used to have a wall of classics, but never brought myself to start a Mattel Wall. Now the Classics are dead too, and I am a minimalist. Seeing these pics sometimes makes me wish I hadn't stopped.

if you ripped open them sum b****** youd only take up a 1/4 of that space. Loose collecting > MOC

This is classic! You might as well open them all. Then you can have all of them on display at the same time!

Oh for sure, I have wanted to open them all just to conserve space. But then again, displaying them MOC looks much better to me personally. You just gotta set it up good my man but I think you would LOVE a loose collection. I got 140 Mattel figures on 3 shelves of a 5 shelf bookshelf w/ sliding glass doors. I've even seen people using those all glass display cases from IKEA that look really really nice. Then I got 10 sets of those Deluxe Display stands on those 3 shelves and they're loaded with figures. Those deluxe display stands really are nice for organizing your collection for display. I would highly recommend them to you and going loose asap. Save yourself the space man. If not, you're just going to end up packing them all away and never being able to see them that often. It's going to happen eventually if ya keep collecting MOC, and most these figures are mass produced. Just save the boxes you want and store them inside rubbermade bins. It will make your life a lot easier. You would hate to have to start packing them in bins while still collecting or loving the line this much even when its done. Seems like such a waste of money especially at these prices. Like I said man, just go loose, and save your boxes in storage in case you ever wanna sell down the road.
