ok im not sure if this goes here and if it doesnt then please move it. I was wondering how to make a mattress as i am making a backyard type setup. any help is appreciated and +1 for who ever has good advice.

a few years back, JAKKS made a mattress. It was in a BCA set, possibly a Grapple Gear set. I'm not sure which. That'd be a great place to start for a matress.
Otherwise, you could always check a doll shop and see if they have them or do a layered effect with foamies, then superglue or sew some fabric over the base.

go to the craft store,get some foam,and fabric,and drape the foam in the fabric,fold it over,pull tight and cut off extra bits,and sew it on :]
