Night is dark and full of terrors.
it's back sunday. I'm in the mood! Fave quotes anyone?
I will kill that man. I don't care how many arrows they feather me with, how many spears they run through me, I will kill that horn-blowing **** before I fall.
Theon gets some crackers ;D.

Don't fight for a king. Don't fight for his kingdoms. Don't fight for honor, don't fight for glory, don't fight for riches, because you won't get any. This is your city Stannis means to sack. That's your gate he's ramming. If he gets in it will be your house that burns. Your gold he steals, your women he rapes. Those are brave men knocking at our door. Let's go kill them!
Tyrion is my reason for watching

I became a GOT fan around Christmas. I always knew it was good because everything HBO produces is simply amazing, so I decided to get Season 1 on Blu Ray. What a show. Sky Atlantic, our HBO provider in the UK just finished re-running Season 2 so I'm up to date.
We get episode one of Season 3 one day after you guys, I am STOKED. Simply cannot wait.

"What do we say to the Lord of Death?"
I seriously cannot wait, the anticipation has been killing me. I just finished the books as well; and HOLY HELL (without spoiling anything) we are in for an AMAZING season!

Didnt realise it was starting so soon but count me in. I think it's a little overhyped but when it's at it's best, it is 100% some of the best tv ever.
They have a very clever technique of ending every episode on a cliffhanger and as a result, I'll probably wait till Season 3 is several episodes in so I can binge it over a day or two. Need to refresh myself with the first two anyway.

Loved tonight's episode. Tyrion was the best, as always. But everything was fantastic.
I can't wait until next week.

I so badly wanted Daenerys to just let her dragons scorch that Kraznys guy after they told her about the babies. Hopefully he gets his before all is said and done. I personally think Daenerys continues to be the best developed character on the show. She's on a journey and it's inching forward. Watching the dragons fly around the boat and the idea of her having a soulless army just makes you foresee the destruction she could bring upon the other armies.
Loved the sit down with Tyrion and Tywin. It seems wise not to play chess with a chess master but then Tywin and Cersei constantly under estimate him. I think if anyone lays a finger on Shae that they'll come to regret it dearly. Which is why I chuckle when Tywin made such a sweeping threat.
Let the games between Cersei and the Tyrells begin. Margaery knows how to play the game.
The Stannis story is really my least favorite. I just don't like anything about him and he seems like he'd be worse on the throne than Joffrey. I do want to see Melisandre get got though.
Jon Snow is tricky for me. One of my favorite characters but he feels so removed. Obviously, if no one stops the white walkers there will be no throne to fight over but he seems like a lamb out fighting past the wall. I did like his story watching the sacrifice come back into play.
Definitely missed Arya but it seems like we will get her progression next week. Same with Bran. It's interesting how each of the Stark kids has spiraled off into such different directions. Sansa is going to run head first into a wall with Littlefinger. Just a disaster waiting to happen. I like the Talisa and Robb pairing, seems like a legitimate king and queen if they can ever get to the throne. I think Robb, like Ned before him, represents the "hope" for the kingdom. Sadly, we all know where hope has gotten us so far.
I love everything about this show though. It's so intricate and intertwined and last night just left me begging for more of the story when the episode was over.

Little disappointed I'll admit. But that is just the standards this show has set before it. A lot of last night was re-positioning/setup, loved seeing Davos back and Dragons are still cool. Lacked a couple of my faves Varys, Osha, Theon and Arya. Could have done with 10 minutes extra to show something from them, like a conversation between Varys and Baelish over the new queen/Baelish's Sansa plan. Left me wanting MORE.

I don't have HBO so I've never seen it. You should check out the first season on DVD/BR. Season 1 is one of the best single seasons of a TV show ever imo. It's right up there for me with Prison Break season 1. I'd imagine you'll be absolutely hooked after those first 10 episodes. I usually buy TV seasons and only watch them once through but I've watched my S1 BR multiple times.

Barristan Selmey returning was awesome! He is really cool and he was the last person I was expecting to see.
And am I the only one that gets a little sick of seeing a pair of boobs every episode? It was fun at first but I feel that they are just using the whores to fill up TV time. I mean the story can progress fine but I don't feel there is a need for them every damn episode...
I cannot wait to see how the story progresses between Tywin and Tyrion, Last nights episode was a perfect example of how he is disregarded for everything simply because he is the "Imp" Also I see this thing between Sansa and Lord Baelish ending in complete disaster. But hell the way the story has went so far anything is possible!
Danys dragons grown and more free was great too, I can't wait to see what ferocity her dragons bring upon anyone that opposes the mother of dragons. Plus the whole soulless army thing is cool, she will most definitely become a force to be reckoned with in the coming episodes.
The Stannis story is kind of bothering me, not so much Stannis, he is cool but the Red Lady Melisandre is annoying me and I hope she gets torched herself, and Stannis takes his rightful seat upon the Iron Throne!
Also interested in what's to come for Jon Snow and the rest of the Nights Watch.
I PRAY that Cersei and Joffrey get their asses killed this season, hate then both with a passion. Which is why I love this show.
