"Mean" Gene opened the show by welcoming everyone to the newly established wrestling organization All World Wrestling. He welcomed Jonathan Coachman, the Deputy Director of AWW, out to the interview area. Coach came out to a mixed reaction.
In the interview area was a bingo tumbler. Coach explained the tumbler was filled with the names of every wrestler in AWW and he will pick the wrestlers that will fight for the 3 championships of AWW. The Global Heavyweight Championship, the Western Hemisphere Championship and the Eastern Hemisphere Championship. The Global championship match will be a six man match while the other two title matches will be singles matches.
The first two names drawn will fight for the Western Hemisphere Championship, the next two for the Eastern Hemisphere Championship and the final six for the Global Championship.
Coach reached into the tumbler and pulled out a piece of paper with the name of the first person on it. He unfolded the paper and announced Ezekiel Jackson as the first competitor. He pulled out the second one and it was Evan Bourne.
The next piece of paper contained the name of Wade Barrett. The fourth name pulled was that of Justin Gabriel.
The final six names pulled were Triple H, The Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, Christian and Booker T.
Coach wished all the men good luck and he left the interview area.
During the first commercial break, Mean Gene announced a sell out in the arena with 14,561 fans and he thanked us.
The first match was for the Eastern Hemisphere Championship. Wade Barrett vs Justin Gabriel.
The match was slow to start but ended up picking up and keeping that pace until the end. Wade and Justin exchanged blows, the final one blocked by Wade when he grabbed Gabriel's arm, spun him around and suplexed him. Wade dominated for several minutes until he tried to hit Wasteland which Gabriel escaped from. He kicked Wade a couple times, whipped him to the ropes then ran to the opposite ropes and connected with a running crossbody. At the end Barrett went for a rolling elbow which Gabriel ducked. As Wade was turning around, Justin jumped up grabbing Wade, spun around and hit a tornado DDT. Justin dragged Wade to the corner where he ascended the turnbuckle to hit the 450 splash. He covered Wade and got the 3 count.
The ref raised Gabriel's arm and handed him the title. He raised it in the air and fell to his knees. He clutched the title and began to laugh. He stopped to tell the ref to bring him a mic. He continued laughing until the ref brought him the mic.
"This is great," he chuckled. "I am the new Eastern Hemisphere Champion and I planned this in case I won. Next week will be the official celebration of my winning this championship. You're all invited. All of you out there sitting on your couches, tune in next week because I have a glorious announcement to make."
He stood up and threw the mic at the ref who fumbled it. He exited the ring holding the title in the air laughing all the way to the back.
The next segment had CM Punk, John Cena, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and The Miz out to talk about their predictions for Global Heavyweight Championship match.
John Cena and Randy Orton thought HHH was going to win. Miz and R-Truth felt the Undertaker would win. Kofi thought Chris Jericho would win.
Mean Gene asked CM Punk who he thought was going to win.
"Well who do we have in the match?"
Gene replied "Triple H, The Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, Christian and Booker T."
"So you want me to choose between a bunch of guys who haven't been relevant since 1999? It's not really a fair question to ask. Who do I think is going to win? Look at those guys and you tell me who is most likely to lose. You can see right away the four that definitely will not win. So you are down to two and you have to ask yourself who has the bigger ego and thinks he needs the win. Wrestling isn't about wins and loses. Sure it's great to win but if you are asking someone "Am I going over" then you have to ask yourself if it is worth it. Is it worth it to constantly be that afraid that you need that kind of ego boost and reassurance? I guess we'll see. I can tell you for sure that three of you are wrong. Which three? Kofi for sure but the other.."
Kofi pushed Punk and Punk pushed back. Kofi pushed harder and Punk fell into the tumbler containing all the wrestler's names causing it to spill out all over. Punk was giving Kofi an evil look but he looked away to the pieces of paper that had spilled out from the tumbler. Punk began going through them.
"Hey hey hey. These are the same. These 6 all have Triple H's name...These 5 have Undertaker's...These 4 have Jeff Hardy's name. There are more and more with all their names. Everyone in the Global title match. My name isn't here. Kofi, your name isn't here. None of our names are here. What the hell is going on? What kind of stunt is this? Gene did you have any idea about this?"
"No I had no idea. I didn't fill it up with names. Jonathan Coachman did."
"Well he has some explaining to do. Come on guys, let's go get us an explanation."
All 6 guys left together and they looked quite upset.
The second match of the night was for the Western Hemisphere Championship. Ezekiel Jackson vs Evan Bourne.
The match lasted maybe 30 seconds with Jackson destroying Bourne and getting the pin fall. The ref handed Jackson the belt and he snatched it out of the ref's hands and then pushed him to the ground. Zeke left the ring and was half way up the aisle when he dropped his title and came back to the ring. He picked up Bourne and put him in a torture rack until several refs came down and got him to let Bourne go. He left the ring for a second time and picked up his title on his way up the aisle.
During the commercial, Alex Riley came out and shot some shirts into the crowd with a t-shirt gun.
The main event was the Global Heavyweight Championship match.
The order in which the wrestlers came out was Booker T, Christian, Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy, HHH and the Undertaker.
About 7 minutes into the match each wrestler took their turn hitting their finishing move on Chris Jericho. The other 5 then continued to fight. Chris Jericho was getting up when HHH put Jericho between his legs for a pedigree and the other wrestlers stopped what they were doing seemingly going to do another round of finishing moves on Jericho when CM Punk's music hit. HHH dropped Jericho and the 5 standing wrestlers all stared at the stage.
CM Punk, R-Truth, John Cena, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston and The Miz all came out. As they were walking to the ring Jericho got up and joined the 5 in the ring in watching the six men come down to the ring. The six on the outside slid into the ring and an all out brawl ensued. Cena and Taker, Orton and Jericho, Punk and HHH, Kofi and Hardy, Truth and Booker, Miz and Christian.
Their fight continued past the point of when the show was to end so I'm not sure when the show actually ended on TV but the brawl lasted for about 8 minutes with the six men not in the title match getting the upper hand leaving the six in the match on the mat. They left the ring and went to the back. Triple H and the others got up and he got on the mic calling for Punk and the others to return. They did come back out and got halfway down the aisle when HHH, Undertaker, Jericho, Hardy, Booker and Christian hopped out of the ring and charged at them. Punk and friends ran to the back as HHH and company chased after them.
A few minutes passed and Mean Gene thanked us for coming and told us they would be back in the near future.
