North Korea announced Saturday that it had entered a "state of war" with South Korea and would deal with every inter-Korean issue accordingly. "As of now, inter-Korea relations enter a state of war and all matters between the two Koreas will be handled according to wartime protocol," the North said in a joint statement attributed to all government bodies and institutions. en-maktoob.news.yahoo.com/n-korea-says-war-south-000307888.html

Which is weird because North Korea is telling china there will be no war.
Edit: the more I read about this whole North Korea thing, the more I believe they're doing nothing but putting on a show.
Photos were revealed of North Korean officials looking as if they are conversing about some operation with a conveniently placed map in the background that bluntly states "plan to hit u.s mainland"
I mean come on. They can't be that stupid to reveal their plans if they were really going to go through with war. It's all propaganda for their people.

Also the launch targets were released Unless they believe the World is flat, straight lines don't make sense considering missiles move in a curved path due to the Earth being spherical in shape. They're just setting themselves up for failure or this thing is nothing more than a hoax. I'm confident it's the latter.

i think this is a case of the new leader kind of trying to prove to his people of his strength....but lets be honest if anything escalates and they attack somewhere they will be a future parking lot. Unfortunately they seem to be ready to "go down swinging"

Was about to say the same thing. They're about to be wiped off the map.

In other news, S. Korea responded by saying, "Meh."

In other news, S. Korea responded by saying, "Meh." Our government responded by saying they are taking it seriously.

I would hope that if they were crazy enough to try something like this the US can see it coming half way around the world and destroy it before it hits us.

I have friends that I went to school with living in South Korea right now, so this news kinda worries me.

Don't be worried. It's just North Korea. They suffer from little people syndrome.

Meh, they'll probs bomb Washington then the USA will bomb them. So most of us are fine. Anyone in DC leave sharpish.
