I DVR TNA every week and usually fast forward through most of it, except for one part, and that part is whatever Austin Aries is doing. Whether it's talking or wrestling, I'm a huge fan of the guy, so much so that I've actually bothered to do a custom of him.
Nice to have wrestling figures that are actually in scale with each other
I'm really happy with this. It was my first time actually cracking open and swapping a torso by myself, as well as doing a little painting on the tattoo, beard and socks.
I never thought that the CM Punk head looked much like him, so I thought with a little paint work it could make for a passable Austin Aries (plus I removed the lip ring).
The Daniel Bryan legs help keep him in scale since they're shorter than everyone elses' and Austin isn't very tall in real life.
Head: Elite 20 CM Punk
Torso: Evan Bourne
Arms: Basic Drew Mcintyre (I think? I've had them for a while)
Legs and Boots: Elite 19 Daniel Bryan
I might try and paint on his trunk logos at some point, but I'm fine with them being plain for now.
