I liked the idea and the vast environment but the gameplay was too shabby and the amount of glitches found that ruined the game. For example, when I brought it when it came out;their was a glitch when it wouldn't save your game and you would have to start at the beginning on the chapter you was on...it's now fixed but I haven't played it since.

Love Dead Island! Have the G.O.T.Y Edition for PS3, pre-ordered Riptide Steelbook Edition, and just started reading the book. Now just need some Dead Island figures! There's even a book out?! Man, there will be a film out next. By the way are you online on the PS3 mate? If so, you fancy playing some BloodBath arena co-op? I'm not online as much as I used to be, I will probably be on a lot when Riptide comes out. There are plans for a film, and after Dead Island was released, the same company put a trademark on Dead World  |

Barrowed it from a friend and played about 2hrs of it couldn't really get into it though. Seen it at Wal-mart tonight for $19.99 but i passed it up :/

The game is getting mediocre reviews which is what I expected. It sounds like basically all of the issues that plagued the first game were not fixed.

Wow just saw the video review for Aristide on Gamespot and they trashed it and called the game stupid.
They gave it a 4 out of 10. Really regretting pre-ordering it from GameStop now. Ugh.
Edit: IGN gave it a 7 out of 10 so I dunno. We'll see.
