Is it possible to remove the double knee of a DA figure and replace it at the knee with an RA leg/boot?

Wow, with all the customizers on these boards I would have thought a simple YES or NO would have been replied by now.

I'm doing it with my DA Classic Tazz custom. It works fine as long as you hide the knees with the DA Knee pads. I was able to get the pins just about all the way in and the legs are steady.
