Here's some of my fix ups. Elite Flair (Need to shorten neck some more I think)    MixNMatch Macho man (wip)  This is new basic head and arms, 2 Pack body, Boots were taken so I used RA Hogan boots, I fit them onto the mattel calves they can still spin. Waiting for new paint to do stars. Dusty Rhodes nwa.  Pretty basic, needs wrist tape gonna use another members idea for a second jakks colored elbow pad Up next is Elite Hollywood hogan with RA boot conversion, and soon after Elite goldberg when the body gets here. Heres some pics of the the WIP hogan pre paint stage   These are the RA CS8 boots, I've modded them to fit Elite claves, as you can see, I left the tongue on the boot visible and they can still rotate. I may switch the feet to Elite feet like another user did here.  And here is Hogan and the RA boot Macho man in scale pics -  |

I think its been said elsewhere but I'll add my redundant comment: very nice job on the boot mod. It really makes a huge difference for the custom fig.

I think its been said elsewhere but I'll add my redundant comment: very nice job on the boot mod. It really makes a huge difference for the custom fig. Thanks. I've seen a couple but I haven't seen the tongue left on the boot, most of the times they just saw off the calf flat and glue the boots on. :X |

i think you did a very good job on these. yes, i would shorten the flair neck too. i like the older jakks flair scan though. i think the hogan looks great, especially the boot mod. if i ever got into customizing, i would use the jakks hogan R3 tech head. overall, amazing work!

Yeah but you dont talk to me on fb so....  i think you did a very good job on these. yes, i would shorten the flair neck too. i like the older jakks flair scan though. i think the hogan looks great, especially the boot mod. if i ever got into customizing, i would use the jakks hogan R3 tech head. overall, amazing work! Thanks man, I've loved this scan ever since they first released it, The R3 head I is really good, I just really like the removable bandana. |
