The Rock wrestled two matches with CM Punk and came out of them both fine. He wrestled two matches against John Cena and came out with a torn hamstring the first time and a torn abdomen in the second. Coincidence?

lol, poor guy cant do a mania match against cena without tearing muscles. last year i think it was his hamstring. i know it was a leg muscle though.

I've personally known people who've torn abdominal muscles,and they could barely walk,much less wrestle for 15 minutes after doing it. and the abductor muscle goes from the groin area down to the inside of the leg just above the knee,which was supposedly ripped off the bone! |

They are just trying to cover his ass.. The Rock wasnt in any pain after the match whatsoever. Especially for an injury that severe.

Especially for an injury that severe. this is my point. for a guy so severely injured,he sure as hell looked in NO pain whatsoever after the match last night. I mean,basically his whole midsection and groin/leg should've been in severe agony. yet he continued wrestling for 15 minutes after he got this "injury", and was still in good enough shape to walk out of there just fine. guy should've been hunched over and limping at the least. I had one friend who just pulled an abdominal muscle,and he was bent over and in pain,said it hurt to breathe. had another who actually did tear one,and he was on the ground in agony right after,and even a week later he could only take little baby steps and was uncomfortable doing that. |

It's not like there's any history of athletes playing through excruciating pain/illness. Nope. I've never seen anyone finish a match/game with dislocations, torn muscles, broken bones, etc. That stuff never happens. No sir. [/sarcasm]

I don't recall Rock describing Cena as being 300 lbs, then 350, then 400, then 500, etc. every time he speaks of matches against him. Rock doesn't have Hogan's history of making himself out to be Superman by constantly lying about how much danger he was in with his opponents. Dude's hurt, according to him and the company that employs him. Doesn't really matter what haters have to say. |

Buncha fat kids trying to analyze injuries. Many injuries don't feel that bad but really stiffen up after sleeping. Or the adrenaline of working in front of 80000 could mask the pain.
My question to some is why don't you believe him? The guy has been around the last three manias, over 20 Raws, 6 ppvs and a couple smack downs. Why would he just randomly no show?

The Rock wouldnt have even been able to walk if the injury was legit. Ask HHH about his quad tear how keeping calm and act like nothing happened worked out for him. |
