What I dont understand, if British fans are the reason the crowd was rowdy last night...why is it the Raw's suck when they're in England? Im not trying to bash British fans or members with that question, its a legit question. The Raws are usually very average to sub-par and the crowds there arent nearly as rowdy as they were last night. As KillScene said, I think it was just more of a "smark" crowd. I think you couldn't have said it any better. Brits aren't in control of the content on the show. The crowds at UK Raw's are usually some of the better ones of the year (when WWE doesn't try to dub stuff in.) This week's Raw had some great moments AND a hot crowd. UK Raw's usually only have the hot crowd and that usually dies out by the end due to the shoddy product.

I thought it was like, universally agreed among WWE fans that UK shows suck.

Football chants (proper Football, named so because the foot touches the ball) are you trying to further the arrogant brit douche stereotype?

are you trying to further the arrogant brit douche stereotype? That's a stereotype? No it's fact. We also have bad teeth, drink tea and eat crumpets. While 'Yanks' are a bunch of rednecks who are all fat due to the fact that they only eat McDonalds, and they write the date in the wrong order.

are you trying to further the arrogant brit douche stereotype? That's a stereotype? uhhh....yea absolutely. a non-threatening example is lloyd, charlie hunnam's character in undeclared, but it also is directly in all kinds of movies, shows, music, etc. it's obviously for the most part malarky, but there are always those who remind us why certain stereotypes exist. i've also had the misfortune of directly meeting a few. and to member bill, sorry for taking your comment literally, sometimes it's hard to sort between the sarcasm and the substance.

We Brits have little to brag about, frankly. K5, I get ya. No worries.

I'm Irish. Definitely not UK. yea, hence why you threw in uk/irish crowd, right? thanks for exemplifying my point for me. Dude, I don't know what your problem is. People in here are like 'UK crowds suck'. It's strange. I'm Irish, I'm completely unbiased when it comes to UK vs US crowds. Recently, UK crowds have been very good. The last time they were in UK (November 2012 RAW), the majority of the official thread was talk about how alive the crowd were. And for the record, my opinion is that football fans in the UK are louder/rowdier and dare I say, passionate than in the US. We can argue this point until the cows come home. All I will say is, you'll never see a UK fan say 'we need to be more passionate like they are in US sports'; but you'll see people say vice versa. It's not a shame to admit. For example, I wish English support could compare to that of German or Greek teams. When those guys come over here for football matches, they kill our support. This is a pretty decent video. I don't see the problem in admitting that US sports crowds aren't that loud. I like the NHL and NBA, the sports are fun. The crowds aren't anywhere near as good as they are for football over here. I don't think that's gloating at all (all you need to do is watch a few videos)... and it really shouldn't be taken offensive. If some fans of those Greek teams were like 'Arsenal fans suck'.. I'd say 'in comparison to you guys, yeah.' I don't see why you're so touchy on the subject, and I'm not gloating at all. I think it's a cultural difference.

If you watch the videos on wwe.com of the crowd you'll notice there are LOADS of UK/England flags. Also, if you watch the waiting/on the train videos you'll notice most of the chanting is British, mainly from football.
I'm not saying British people are the best fans, but on Monday, those British fans that were there were key to the crowd, especially with the chanting and dancing to create that party atmosphere, and so were the other guys joining in. It just seems clear from all the vids/chanting that the British fans were really going for it, and luckily all the other people joined in too.

I never said it was because of people in the UK. To be honest, I'm kinda confused. You keep quoting my post and arguing points I didn't make. I'm not exactly delighted to hear all the 'it was us' patriotism, I just thought it was unfair how people tried to say on the first page or two that UK crowds suck, because they really don't. I think I kind of misunderstood what you were saying. My post wasn't a 'Omgz our crowdz is better than yourz!!'. I was just trying to counter the idea that crowds over here suck. As a matter of fact, I'd love to see the crowds in each US city be a lot noisier because it would only serve to aid the product!

fair enough, by no means do uk crowds suck. i just didn't enjoy a lot of the comparison going on in this thread, but seeing as you agree with me on that, i can see we misunderstood each other at first.

I'm far from a UK patriot I'm just an admirer of good crowds and I think that UK shows provide that.

The chanting and dancing reminded me of a darts crowd from Alexandria Palace.

Those chants were so similar to premier league chants at a football game (football where you kick the ball with your feet). Its why the premier league has the best atmosphere in world football.

Football chants (proper Football, named so because the foot touches the ball) are you trying to further the arrogant brit douche stereotype? You further the North American self-obsessed, argumentative and rude stereotype with every post you make.
