Instead of Build a figure series they should just make a series were it only includes managers and announcers. They would be a bomb and possibly better sellers than the ordinary wrestlers.
Paul Bearer Zeb Colter JR Paul Heyman Michael Cole Jerry Lawler
A set with those guy in it would be a mega hit.

Don't ever talk about managers and not mention Bobby "the brain" Heenan again!

An all-managers series would be atrocious, sales-wise. I'd buy 'em though.

Ya like one per case while the rest of the set has everyday favorite superstars, a full set of announcers would bomb horribly and not sell very well at all

They could certainly take more risks with them. I mean, if they do Vickie/Dolph (two Vickie figures now) there's no reason why they couldn't do Heyman/Punk. We know Heyman is a BAF, though.
I was originally going to suggest Swagger and Coulter, but if this angle is wrapping up already, that would probably be a huge warmer 8-10 months from now.
Liz has done pretty well...let's try Bobby Heenan as the next Elite FB manager. And I know I'm not the only one who would practically start a fire with how fast I'd pull my wallet out to pre-order a debut Mankind/Paul Bearer Elite exclusive 2-pack at RSC. While $50 would be up there in price (exclusives typically are around $25 at first), I really can't see something that especially appealing having a hard time selling. Especially if you offer the WFIGS discount to help out. You won't know 'til you try, guys!

The only way managers would sell well is as Baf's, FB or in a 2-Pack with their biggest wrestler. Byt not as a whole set. A set of all managers would sit on the pegs for ever once the collectors got theirs. That's why we got Baf's of Cole, Ricardo, Teddy, Big Johnny and the upcoming Heyman because they would rot on the pegs if the were released as regular figures.

How was Jakks able to sell managers and other guys as single figures but Mattel can't? Easy as 2-packs and with singles they were short packs (1 per case)in a COLLECTORS line. And they were known/entertaining Legendary managers to boot. When they put the modern managers in the regular RA line (Heyman & Bischoff) they rotted the pegs until Mattel took over the pegs and stores had to remove Jakks WWE product. And with Heyman and Bischoff they were the only manager in their waves and you want a full wave of managers. lol Would I buy Heenan, Capt Lou, Blassie, Hart, Fuji, Johnny Valient, Paul E Dangerously, Jim Cornette, Gary Hart, JJ Dillon, Paul Elering, Slick, Sunny, Baby Doll, Precious,Paul Jones, etc? Sure I would but to put out a whole wave of them would just become pegwarmwrs after the collectors got theirs. I just don't imagine a ton of kids in the store saying let me get Cole/Heyman/etc over an actual wrestler.

Lower prices and different shelfwarmers (except Cena who is a shelfwarmer everywhere). Managers and the like never warmed the shelves here. Not even the Bobby Heenan/Abe Schwartz pack. Jakks figures that warmed the shelves were Undertaker, HHH, Rey Mysterio, John Cena and Randy Orton. Most CS figures I saw once or not at all. The only guy who had a CS figure that ever warmed the shelves here was SuperStar Billy Graham. And even then they eventually sold out of him. Maybe CS and stuff sold horribly everywhere else but here they sold great.

I'd love to see a Mattel Jimmy Hart w/ Megaphone.
Easy accessory.
