After it was over I was expecting Manu to rip off his jersey and reveal a heat jersey.

Let the anti-LeBron butthurt commence... But Chris Bosh not recording a point after winning game 6 with his defense is the most Chris Bosh-like thing I've ever seen. Helped win Game 7 with his defense too. Made Duncan work extremely hard and looked really good, especially in the second half.

All the Spurs had to do was hit one free throw in game 6 and this never would have happened.

According to Spo, this was the hardest series hes been apart of. ummm.... Wasn't the series against Dallas harder considering they lost?
I know its just coach speak, but I thought it was funny.

That was hard to watch. Duncan missing that layup against Shane ing Battier was pretty much the icing on the cake. As soon as Ray hit that 3 in game 6 I knew this was over, unfortunately. Spurs gave everything in that game, and just ran out of gas. I dunno I still hate the Heat, but the second time around doesn't suck as much as last year I guess. I hate them though because they're douchebags, not because they're a good team (common misconception among Heat "fans" who like to call out the "haters"). Oh and Manu's ass needs to retire stat. Could make an argument that the dude single handedly cost them that series. His dribbling and decision making was nothing short of atrocious. This is the worst time of the year now. No ESPN for a few months, and you're favorite baseball team sucks monkey balls. Sad summer

After it was over I was expecting Manu to rip off his jersey and reveal a heat jersey. Manu was just plain ineffective in the last two games. He looked seriously overmatched and scared. I still hate the Heat with a passion, and LeBron James is no Michael Jordan by any means, but I have to give them props for seizing every opportunity and proving that the bad guys win championships too. In hindsight, this was always about people wanting the Heat to lose. If it wasn't the Spurs, it could've easily been the Thunder or the Grizzlies. The Spurs were never the main focus. It was always about the Heat and whether or not they would repeat. And that really depresses me.

Manu actually played a good game up until the final few minutes. Parker was a total no show, if he had a decent game they might have pulled it off. Leonard was carrying most of the load in that one. They hung in there though, you gotta give them props for that.
The next few weeks should be fun with the draft and free agency, but then there's a huge void between that and the start of the next season.

This is probably the worst time to watch ESPN. I'm just sick of witnessing ESPN's incessant below-the-belt head bobbing of LeBron James and Co..
Damn you Kawhi Leonard.
Oh well, time to enjoy Wimbledon and the rest of the Stanley Cup.

I've got my money on the Lakers next year. To win the Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes? To win the "I absolutely don't want the Lakers to tie the Celtics for championships but I know Kobe Bryant is going to come back fueled to destroy"

To win the Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes? To win the "I absolutely don't want the Lakers to tie the Celtics for championships but I know Kobe Bryant is going to come back fueled to destroy" I can safely say the Lakers will not compete for a title next year. Nash is 40, Howard might leave, Kobe wont be back until December or January. Unless Robert Scarce and Metta World Peace can lead them to the promise land, I am not too worried about them.

lebron didn't surpass crap on mj. he joined forces with two other stars so that alone makes it invalid forever for him to surpass mj imo.
plus the east is weak as crap. heat beat up a bulls without rose, and a pacers without granger. not saying the heat would have lost had those two star players played against the heat but it wouldn't have been a cake walk that's for sure.
and the heat have it way easier than the bulls had it when they won those rings with mj.
but with that said, the heat deserved the championship and showed why they're back to back champs. they came to play and made this nba final one of the best i've ever seen. so congrats.

Urgh Spurs blew this. It should have been over in game 6 and no way they were going to win a game 7 in Miami for the title. Lebron is a great player but was very inconsistent in this series. And his post game comments are cringe worthy. He talks about how great he is and everything he has done yet never once thanked Ray Allen for bailing his ass out in game 6. Had Ray not hit that 3 and the Spurs would have ended the series there. Lebron is a freak of nature but his constant b****ing after every single call and his constant "I'm so great" bull s*** is why people hate him. We never once heard guys like Russell, Jabbar, Magic, Bird, or MJ talk about how great they were. They always credited their teammates with helping them get to where they were and they never constantly b****ed in eras where the refs didn't stop play for every ticky tacky foul.
While Miami were the top team this year (they have the title), the East opened the door wide for em. The Bulls, Knicks, Celtics, 76ers, and Pacers all had top players missing with major injuries while the Magic sent Howard packing to the West (who always gave Miami trouble). The Hawks were no threat as projected, the Nets were all hype and no bite, Cleveland is too young, and Milwaukee was a joke. For next year I don't see the West changing much except if Howard and Paul sign elsewhere. How the East shapes out will determine if the Heat win again or not.

How exactly do you know what Ray Allen and Lebron talk about?

I have no clue what they say behind closed doors and never claimed to have. I said that publicly Lebron never gave credit to Ray for that shot and after winning the title all Lebron did was talk about how great he is. Not denying he is a great player, because he is. But it is no secret that Lebron is his biggest fan and isn't afraid to show it when things go his way (funny how after the game 3 blow out he didn't even show up to his post game conference).
As for ESPN and some fans calling him the GOAT, that couldn't be further from the truth. The guy is only half way through his career and has a long way to go. Sure he has 4 MVP awards, but considering that this is a much softer league than the 80s and 90s says a lot. And like Charles Barkly said, the MVP award shouldn't go to the best player in the league because they are the best. If it did MJ would have won it every year he was in the league. The guy has accomplished a lot so far but he has a long way to go and his career must be over until we start comparing him to MJ and Magic, the two greatest players of all time. As a whole though IMO Lebron is already far better than the highly overrated Kobe is.
A little off topic but I've always found it funny that people compare Lebron to MJ when they have completely different playing styles. Lebron's physical size and play style much more closely resembles guys like Magic and Pippen. Lebron, like though two, were point forwards who could play literally any position on the floor and could do a little of anything you wanted while MJ more so revolutionized the game w/ his attacking SG style as well as lock down dominant defense. Two very different players.
