As a teen during the Attitude Era, The Rock was one of my favourites, unquestioned. A great package of look, in-ring skill, charisma and talent, and of course tremendous mic skills easily made him one of the guys I admired greatly.
I don't watch wrestling anywhere close to the amount I used to, but it was good to see him late last year and this year of what I had seen of him.
Can't really say more than that, but I like The Rock, and probably always will.

I didn't even like him as a kid. Didn't like Austin either. Bigger fan of HHH and Undertaker.

I'm not going to let his latest run change my opinion on him & everything he did through 2003.

I actually like The Rock and understand his reasons for not being around. But I'm in the minority I guess.

Never really been a big fan of him, but I don't hate him. I'll admit that I don't really like his recent run, but it's still kinda cool to see The Rock back.

I was never high on the rock back in the day during his "prime." I don't particularly dislike him but was never in my top five at any point of being a wrestling fan.
I'm happy he's been back because its cool from a nostalgia standpoint and just the epic kind of aura around his matches. However at this point he's come back and done his thing and I'm satisfied. From here on in it. Doesn't really matter to me if he comes back or not

You'll find a lot of people here disliking him because it's the "cool" thing to do. That and he never competed in ROH. ....or because some of us just don't enjoy seeing him anymore?

*Raises hand*
I love him, but it's a shame the company relies on part timers instead of building new stars.

The Rock and Stone Cold are my all time favorites. So yes I like him, even though he left and was barely around as champion, he is still better then having Cena around all the time, HA!

he never competed in ROH. Neither did Dolph or AJ or Brock or Jericho. Christian and Ambrose had 2 matches with them so I guess that was enough to make the IWC love them. Stop with the false indy fanboy meme. It's ing stupid.

I love The Rock. I'd much rather see him in the main event scene than Cena, that's for damn sure.

I LOL'd at this post. First of all he never complained about losing to Cena.......Second he really was injured....Third he had so much money before returning to WWE, why would he risk his health for money he doesn't need? I haven't been on the boards long, but one thing I notice is that you sure need to make sure you are right about EVERYTHING. I could say it is sunny, and you would say it is rainy. The Rock is faking his injury. You need surgery to repair what he has torn, but no, "the rock is to strong to let this get in the way, the rock is going to bring it to the gym and train harder than ever" (a typical stupid rock i am impersonating). The Rock can train in the gym, and film an ACTION movie, but can't have his rematch with Cena. Hmmm, can't throw a few fake punches, or fall down about three feet, but you can train hard in the gym and film an action movie, sure Rock, all his fans can keep eating up his fruity pebble lies. Hey smart guy he is having surgery LOL

I'm still a fan of his despite him being the one who ended Punk's reign. I still wish they handled that better and actually made the Rock EARN a shot rather than just getting it. Maybe the hate would be less if that were the case.

I do. I could give two shits about internet rumours and speculation. The Rock is one of the best ever and I'm glad we got one more run with him as WWE Champion. Hell, I'm glad he came back at all...because he certainly didn't have to. I get why some of you didn't like that he got the title, but I don't know why so many people on here take it personally that he only wrestles on PPVs. His schedule over the last 5 months must have been incredibly full with all kinds of press related appearances, filming and wrestling.
I remember a few years ago how all of us wanted The Rock back under any circumstance, yet now that we've gotten him in some capacity it seems that what he's done isn't enough. Did you expect him to quit acting? He's got a fantastic gig in Hollywood and I can't begrudge him for sticking with it. Like I said, I'm happy he decided to come back at all.

I love him. The few times I have gotten excited watching WWE TV in the last few years have often been because of The Rock.
