REALLY!!!! I wonder if you can use the Virtual Memory Cards with this? Nonetheless I will get it to support my favorite Wrestling Game/Series ever.

Going to get it. Never played the original but I've heard a lot of good things about this game.

If I didn't already have this game on the PS2, I would buy it from the PSN. Anyone who hasn't played the game, you're missing out on a great game. Perfect simulator for feds.

I may get it, the only question is if downloaded saves would work on it.

Do you know if there is going to be an online mode? I am thinking about getting this because all I hear is good things about it. For anyone who has played it before, how is the gameplay appealing to you?

That's pretty awesome. I have my disc copy, but I will get this as a download since my PS3 only plays PS1.

For those of you asking about gameplay, there's a learning curve to it. It took me a bit to learn how to play. But when you do learn, it's the best. I'd advise reading a a guide online. There's a really good one that I'll link soon. A lot of beginners find the grappling and striking mechanisms hard, but you will get used to it, especially the grappling. I've been playing Firepro almost religiously since 2008. The thing that caught me was the fact that you could create 500 Wrestlers (known as EDITs in Firepro). No one is sure yet if you can use the PS2 Virtual Memory Cards for this PS2 Classic/re-release, but if you can, you can download saves that have complete rosters from a certain set years of WWE, TNA, ROH, etc. (You can mix them together too). Also, it's amazing for sims. Every EDIT/Wrestler in the game has their own detailed logic settings that you can edit. It's one of the things that makes it stand out. So all in all, once you get used to the Japanese stuff, the music, creation tools, and gameplay, it's amazing. **EDIT** Here's the guide I was taking about. It's not a bad starting point. You don't have to know all this stuff to play the game, but it can answer any questions pretty much. www.fireproclub.com/firepror/guides/fpr_complete_guide.pdf

Looking at the details it says that multiplayer is not available. I wish I had 10 dollars in my account to buy it.

Yeah, if this is your first time playing a Fire Pro game, don't give up if you don't win the first match or even five, it's a game that takes awhile to get the hang of. But it certainly is worth learning, granted, once you master it, it's not like it's gonna always provide this amazing challenge. It's real beauty lies in simming, but you can have some fantastic matches, so don't give up if you're getting your butt kicked for the first few times you play.

bought this a few hours ago...brings back memories. I really like this game. So far iv been working on building a Classic WWF 1993-1996 Roster like i had on my ps2 at one time. VERRRRY Time consuming though so BEWARE . Took me over an hour just to make a Undertaker and Ultimate Warrior.

Just had an epic bout between Misawa and Samoa Joe that ended in a spinning elbow CRITICAL.

Haven't played since I bought the PS3, but I may have to get it again! Does take some time to get used to and to get good at, but it is such a great game. The older titles are too if you can find translated copies.
