But also Marvel has other movies to be considering too such as Ant-Man, Avengers 2, Thor 3, Captain America 3, but also there are other heroes in the Marvel universe who do not have their own franchises such as Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and then having to reboot franchises such as The Punisher, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Blade, etc. but as for The Fantastic Four reboot I am actually dreading it and why? Because of the fact that they got the casting all wrong because The Human Torch is not African-American because if they were going to change him into an African American they might as well have changed The Invisible Woman into an African-American as well
But who knows maybe Marvel will prove us wrong

But instead being the best actor out of others that auditioned the role was just gifted to Jordan by Trank because they did a film together. And after reading that interview Kate Mara did where she said she wanted to read the comics to better understand her character and Trank told her no their film has nothing to do with the comics made me relieve Trank chose a black actor to play Torch not because he was a good actor and the best that auditioned, he just wants to stick it to the fans.

If it has nothing to do with the comics, why not let the property revert back to Marvel Studios and make this movie it's own thing. If it's only Fantastic Four by name only, this movie will be worse than the previous ones.

Yeah they based the Nick Fury in the MCU on Ultimate Nick Fury from the Ultimate line of comics; been that way since the early 2000s. Funny thing is they based Ultimate Nick Fury on Samuel L. Jackson and Jackson ends up playing Fury in the movie series.

Okay, so I've had a little time to let Guardians sink in. I have decided that it is now my all time favourite movie. The whole thing was so well made, the cast perfect, the music was amazing and Ronan actually has some real credit as a villain. He was awesome. The whole cinema was in stitches during the final few moments of the fight. Without spoiling it for anyone 'turd blossom' and 'big blue bitch'.
Groot has officially become one of my favourite superheroes. He was amazing.
Thanos actually gave me chills although I wasn't a fan of the bushy eyebrows lol!
Just an incredible movie, usually I am able to say that I have pointers on what would of happened ect. In my opinion James Gunn has succeeded in doing what no other director has done for Marvel so far (the Russo's a close second) and that is bringing a comic book movie to life in a way nobody ever has before.
10/10
Roll on Wednesday, going to see it again.

Avengers Captain America: The Winter Soldier Guardians of The Galaxy Iron Man Captain America: The First Avenger Thor Iron Man 2 Thor: The Dark World Incredible Hulk Iron Man 3
That's how I currently rank the MCU movies.
As for this Summer's CBM's......
Captain America: The Winter Soldier Guardians of The Galaxy
Not sure whether I put ASM2 before X-Men: DOFP or X-Men: DOFP before ASM2 , both were a bit messy & convoluted & neither really 'WOWED' me to be perfectly honest, so haven't quite decided on which gets positioning of 3 & 4 respectively. Will have to watch both again to decide.

Think I'm gonna go see this again tonight.
I haven't been this excited for a movie AFTER I've seen it since the Avengers.

And to think the next Marvel movies that come out, we have to wait until next year for The Avengers 2 in May of 2015 and then Ant-Man in July of 2015

I saw Guardians last night in IMAX 3D with my buddy and I went with my wife and nephew today. Honestly, just as good the second time around. I had to go see it again out of necessity because I missed some of the lines last night because people were laughing so hard. I mean it's an absolutely sensational film. I expected it to be good, but wow was it amazing. The cast was so evenly spotlighted, and the humor was on point the entire film. I was blown away by how great Batista was in his parts. I mean he nailed it. Rocket was perfect, Starlord spot-on and relatable, Gamora just that dynamite concoction of beauty and fire, not a single complaint with the cast.
My wife still likes Avengers more but I think this falls in front of Avengers for me. I don't know if I put it over Winter Soldier, it's really close for me, but what a summer for superhero movies, seriously. Marvel just keeps killing it.

Speaking of the music, can anyone tell me what scene this song is from? I can't remember for the life of me.
