Speaking of the music, can anyone tell me what scene this song is from? I can't remember for the life of me. I can't be 100% certain but I think it was when the Guardians suit up for the final time before their big battle with Ronan and you see them walking one by one until they all join together. I believe that was Cherry Bomb by The Runaways

I finally saw Cap 2 last night. I was kind of let down by it. The first was fantastic, and this one kind of felt like a b-list Avengers cast led by Captain America. The Winter Soldier fight scenes were golden though.

The Winter Soldier fight scenes were golden though. I thought it was a fantastic spy thriller, which is pretty much the tone that the modern solo Cap comics have usually. It's a much different feel than most comic movies, but very faithful to the character and his stories.

I didn't like Falcon at all (maybe because the guy playing him had the most disgusting bug-eyes I've ever seen) and I've always liked Falcon. I don't think there was enough focus on Cap-himself.

Man, I still have to see Cap 2. It's the only one that I haven't seen.

I still have to see Thor 2 but from what I've heard there's no real rush to see it but it is the first film after Avengers so there is some importance there.

Guardians of the Galaxy was excellent. I went in knowing little to nothing about any of the characters and really enjoyed it. It was very well paced and fun.

This has a been a great year for Marvel. Cap 2 came out and became my favorite movie they had done... Then we got Guardians. Man,I loved that movie. And I know people have been negative to the after credits scene, but I loved it!
I can't wait for next year's films and Guardians 2.

I loved it as well. Not what I was expecting, but hilarious none the less. I think it was as much a nod to the 80's tone of Guardians and the long standing joke of that character and film, more than anything else. So, I laughed all the way through to the end. The scene went over plenty of heads though from what I could tell. I heard plenty of people ask who it was, which made me feel old haha. I don't think it had any bearing on future Marvel films and I think that's what most people were expecting. Which they honestly shouldn't have been, knowing that Guardians was a huge gamble by Marvel imo.

It's kinda funny that, that movie came out August 1st 1986 and than 28 years later on the exact same day he shows up again.

Makes it even cooler. And yeah, it's definitely a nod to how far comic book films have come imo.

The after credits scene was before my time so there while I knew who he was, there was no real connection there for me. Although I completely understand their reasoning behind not having a post credit scene that continues the MCU plot, I was still a bit disappointed.
