Killian actually does call himself the true Mandarin in the final battle.

Can you expand on that? I'm wondering what (else) you would have had him say. I said this before someplace(maybe it was here)but I would have had him explain 1)he was in fact The Mandarin(I know this is implied but I wanted him to say it.I I have missed it and he did,pul me over-its all good. 2)He was in league with Stane behind the scenes in IM1 and that they were his people who took Stark in Afghanistan.when Stane took control of Stark Industries and killed Tony he would simply have eliminated him in time. 3)he hit pause on his retaliation for Stanes betrayal after Tonys "I am IM" press conference because he need to take stock & review the situation.....this particularly after what he witnessed in Monaco and at the Stark Fair.. yknow just something like that to tie things up. He does tell Tony that he is The Mandarin, as he begins glowing, very early on during the fight at the docks. He literally utters the words 'I am the true/real Mandarin'.

I remember that now.yeah that was the wrong place in my book. Just like everything else in the movie being mistimed or misplaced. And just to get the point across that Killian was the 'Mandarin' in this movie, I like how that geeky nerd we see from 1999 went & just so happened to go & get an oriental looking Dragon Tattoo plastered all over himself just to get the point across he was the 'Mandarin' when it comes to reveal time & he takes off his shirt. Please! Subtly at its finest. SMDH with a blank stare! :/

I feel pretty silly saying this, but I never noticed that he revealed himself as the "true" Mandarin.

Seems like a voiceover role like that would kinda be slumming it for Bradley Cooper, who I think could carry a superhero franchise. Then again, it could also be a huge payday for just a few days' work.

Weird that they'd be willing to pay Coopers rate and not capitalize on his name, that and he's a great and versatile actor, he could certainly carry a franchise, and he could certainly be a hero himself.

I definitely want to see Bradley Cooper in his own superhero movie, hopefully he gets one in the next few years seeing as Marvel apparently have their movies planned until 2021

Malekith looks really creepy. I'm so excited for this movie. Below, are a few spoilers from Christopher Eccleston on Malekith - Recalling his first day of filming for Thor: The Dark World as the Dark Elves leader, Malekith the Accursed, Christopher Eccleston says, “It was when the Ark crashes into Asgard. I come off the ship, blow up the throne and then stride through to have my confrontation with Odin,” he says. “Pretty good first day, destroying Asgard. That’s what it says in Malekith The Accursed’s diary: ‘Tuesday. Destroyed Asgard,” he says. According to Empire magazine, it "took six hours of make-up and 45 minutes in wardrobe" for Eccleston to get into character as the villain. Describing acting in the prosthetics and costume as “like washing your feet with your socks on,” Christopher Eccleston explains that he most enjoyed bringing alive a “magnificent design,” sharing scenes with Anthony Hopkins and working Alan Taylor, who he praises as “a magician with performance and with actors…For a film which is so beholden to the technicalities, that’s a magical thing to bring.” As for Malekith's motive in the Marvel sequel, Eccleston says, “There is a kind of tragic quality to his quest. Because he’s lost his wife, he’s lost his children. He’s lost everything. And he returns for revenge. And the agent for his revenge is the Aether. If he gets hold of that, he is omnipotent.” Even Empire wasn't informed of the nature of this Aether, but according to ancient & medieval science (per Wikipedia), it's the material that "fills the region of the universe above the terrestrial sphere." While set photos & videos offered a glimpse of Thor and Malekith duking it out at Greenwhich in London last year, it seems their battle in Thor: The Dark World will carry over to London’s famous skyscraper 30 St Mary Axe - “you know, sliding up and down The Gherkin, being flown here and there, scrabbling in mid-air, trying to get to each other’s throats,” says Eccleston. Furthermore, it's revealed that Malekith's race, the Dark Elves, were banished by Odin’s father 5,000 years earlier and "confined to a vast vessel known as the Ark." Director Alan Taylor describes them as “otherworldly and creepy, but also kind of beautiful - not just monsters…and not orcs!” This whole thing just sounds epic. I'm really excited for the final battle!
