Beware of Thor 2 SPOILERS!
Thor 2 was great. Good mix of comedy, action, drama. They made me really care for Asgard. However I do wish the battles stayed on Asgard. One of my gripes is that when something happens on earth, I dont see why the Avengers dont Immediately assemble, but they thankfully had reason for it this time (It happened in London, and in a relatively short amount of time.)
But otherwise I was really enveloped in the Medieval theme only to be grounded back to earth for the climax really burst the suspended reality I was in.
Loki parts were kind of predictible, but his presense is not taken for granted. He utilizes every minute of screen time he gets.
Speaking of which, anyone else notice this?: Loki = Joker Malekith = Two Face Kurse = Bane
I got quite the kick out of it when I put all those together.
But overall it exceeded my expectations. I definitely dont understand any hate this movie is receiving so far.

Other things I noticed
Black Hole Grenades from Half Life 2 The ship crashing into the palace full of Black Elves was almost frame by frame taken from The Old Republic's cinematic Trailer. Portals....portal Some of the Black Elves tech looked like stuff from Mass Effect. This director was obviously a huge video game and general scifi nerd which is why I think it turned out so damn good.

Just saw Thor: TDW and really enjoyed it. I was a little worried after the disappointing Iron Man 3 but this movie really delivered and I actually enjoyed it much more than the first Thor. The first Thor was good but the pacing was off and the middle of the movie dragged at points. This new one is a two hour movie but felt like it was much shorter. It doesn't give us any BS scenes that are unnecessary. The great villains also help the movie stay very interesting.
I'd rank the marvel movies as...
1) Iron Man 2) Captain American 3) Avengers 4) Thor: TDW 5) The Incredible Hulk 6) Thor 7) Iron Man 2 8) Iron Man 3

During the attack on Asgard, I kept thinking "this looks and sounds like Star Wars".. Come to find out, Lucas LTD is credited for sound in the credits.. Disney wasted no time.

Agents of SHIELD aired in the UK last night, I have to say, I really enjoyed this episode. I'm a huge Marvel fan and I'm not afraid to admit that the show so far hasn't exactly been captivating, but that's all part of being a fan!
Last nights episode with the mentions of New York and the Chitauri really got me involved again. Obviously every show like this has a climax and certain events of the season lead to a huge finale, I think now is the time for the producers to start building towards that, we're 1/4 through, we know who the characters are but nothing significant has really happened, yet.
I'm hoping this Chitauri thing continues, there's bound to be more than one fire fighter who kept a memento from the battle of New York.

God dang I loved Thor TDW! Humor, Action, great storytelling. No complaints at all.
Love the A.O.S. episode this week too. I was legitimately concerned for Simmons.
X Men DOFP trailer gave me goosebumps again after seeing it in theaters.
Captain America TWS looks great. Can't wait.
It's a great time to be a fan.

I have just changed my vote from Thor II to GOTG because well......Ive now seen Thor II...LOL.
Ive heard AOS will start to change toward the end of the season to reflect the SHIELD that we will see in Cap II.thats just awesome.
I also hope to see more of The Council......they are obviously a pack of f*ckers from what we see in Avengers BUT if you watch The Consultant one shot you see Coulson saying they wanted The Abomination for the Avengers Iniative and that they whitewashed the "Harlem incident" to be all Banners fault!!

I thought Thor was fantastic. I plan on seeing it again. I laughed a good amount and I loved what they did with Loki this time around. There is a stinger both before and after the credits too, so stick around.

I'm loving the look of TWS so far, I've seen the 5 minute extended preview and it's the elevator scene from in the trailer, the fighting looks incredible. There's a few new shots in the trailer, too. Thor is by far my favourite Avenger with Cap coming a close second, I cannot wait to see this movie and not that long to go either! I'm guessing we'll see the full trailer in January.

I don't think I can handle a GOTG trailer, I'm too anxious already! I had chills when you know who showed up mid credit scene. He was KILLING IT!
I know little about the plot or production right now, but I will be legitimately shocked if GOTG was a bad movie.
I'm expecting a homerun. Gut feeling.

we cant be far off the GOTG trailer now either.......cant wait for that!! James Gunn last week in a interview said that the 1st trailer shall be out soon. I can't freaking wait. So either December/January is looking like the date for it. Also don't expect the footage that was shown to in theaters to be exactly how the movie is. Gunn said that it was filmed in a few hours with the 2nd unit last minute to add and everything was pretty rushed. Kind of the same thing with the footage that was shown at SDCC, it was done extremely fast which is why it probably won't be in the film.

Saw Thor: The Dark World last night and I think it may be may favorite Marvel film thus far. Great acting, great story, and great comedic timing. Seriously, before the first Thor movie I hadn't read much or even known much about the Thor character but he has become my second favorite behind Ironman. And I'll be damned if Loki hasn't become my favorite villain. So good.

I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel held out until The Winter Solider until they show anything from Guardians, despite what Gunn says. It would be unusual if we got the Guardians teaser before the second Winter Solider trailer hits. Having said that, there isn't the usual 6 month stretch between TWS and GOTG, only 4 months, so who knows? Either way, I'm excited!!

It's usually closer to 6-9 months when the teaser is shown. IM3's teaser was shown in September/October, while Thor: TDW's was shown in April yet IM3's main trailer came out the month after. It's makes perfect sense that they would show GOTG's teaser in the month or two, since Capt's teaser was shown last month.

Just saw Thor TDW and really enjoyed it, there where bits I wouldnt say I didnt like but stuff like the way Asgard is set (despite the awesome bridge and wide shots of the city) dont usually do it for me. But it was still very entertaining. Loved the tease at the end too and the kind of hidden tease that reverts back to the tease of Avengers 1 that I would assume sets up for Avengers 3. Man I love a well laid out plan and seeing it unfold slowly, hopefully the pay off will be as good. I only really wish this sort of thing can be done with Apocalypse for X-men (someone mentioned it a couple pages back too), man that would be even more awesome to me. Its also a nice sort of blueprint for the way I'd want a symbiote saga to unfold too.
End credit teaser also has me massively hyped for GOTG even though I have no clue about them which is also what I love about it. Its the same for Iron Man, Thor and Cap A, I didnt really know much of, if anything, about them so seeing them on the big screen was the first time in seeing them. Its awesome to watch it like that. With Spider-Man for example, I know so much about it and I'm always looking at things and thinking of how I would have done it or if it fits in with what I would do for Spidey, but for things like Thor and GOTG I have no idea what could happen or how things are suppose to be so its all this new information presented in a super way and I love it. Going on that too I'm going to avoid all GOTG stuff until I see the film so everything is fresh, everything!
Also the X-DOFP trailer was a bit meh, but I also love that because it showed nothing of the film which I dont already know and showed very little outside of Old Xavier and Wolverine so I can go into this film too with little idea of whats going to be shown.

Just watched it about 30 minutes ago, and holy what a movie. I absolutley loved it. There were some great laughs and great action scenes. My second favorite Marvel movie aside from the Avengers. I keep replaying everything in my head but I just can't stop thinking.... ing Loki man. Dude's incredibly awesome. I'm in love with the guy. Let's hope GOTG and Cap 2 are the same.
