Elizabeth Olsen has now officially been cast as the Scarlet Witch in Age of Ultron.

It's funny that her and Aaron Taylor will play husband and wife in Godzilla, and now brother and sister in Avengers: AOU.

Saw Thor 2 twice opening weekend. Gotta say, as somebody who has thoroughly loved every single Marvel movie, Thor 2 is standing right at number 2 in my list of favorites. I ing loved it. I'm really upset Anthony Hopkins said he won't be returning.

Eh, I thought his performance in this movie was below average. At least for his standards. I just wasn't impressed.

I just saw Thor: The Dark World today and I thought it was amazing. I definitely prefer the mid-credits scene to the one after the credits. I feel that they should have been reversed, but oh well. I'm just excited to see where they go from here on out.

I don't know, it makes sense. Look back at Avengers, Thanos scene was the mid-credits scene that was furthering the MCU, and the Shawarma end-credits scene was just a fun scene. I think going forward that all films will have two scenes. IM3 was the exception because it's credit scene was filmed last minute so it would have one.

I'm confused how they could handle things for Thor 3 without Hopkins? Just not have Thor in Asgard I guess?
I really enjoyed it a lot too. Thought that it kept the momentum and tone from Avengers going much better than IM3, the one disappointment in the Marvel Studios films so far.
I'm really anticipating Winter Soldier and Guardians, but I just can't get excited for DOFP. Just rather have another film with the superior X-Men: First Class team than going right back to the standard Jackman/Stewart/McKellen dynamic.

I think after the ending of Thor 2, it's obvious that Loki could be the reason for Odin not being around. It's just a matter of how they explain it. Was he imprisoned and is serving the sentence he dealt Loki, which to me, is the most likely option or has Loki killed him?

Oh yeah, I got that part. I was thinking how the filmmakers could manage that twist since he can't actually reveal himself on the throne of Asgard if Hopkins isn't around to be the physical Odin onscreen.
(Hope that was vague enough not to spoil and you understood what I'm asking - LOl)

Just saw Thor: The Dark World and I gotta say that movie was awesome. Some of the parts totally caught me off guard. I can't wait for Captain America though am I the only anticipated to see Crossbones?

frank grillo is standing behind cap before he parachutes out of the plane in the 2nd trailer....is crossbones a hotshot shield agent gone rogue in the movieverse?

That's exactly where the movie's version of Crossbones starts. He works for Redford's characters. The movie is a origin story for Crossbones so I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see the mask yet.

Grillo says he's been written into the Age of Ultron script, although it hasn't been confirmed by the studio yet. If that's case, we could see the mask there. Would make sense if Ultron was a SHIELD project.

I didn't know Crossbones was supposed to be in Cap. 2. That's awesome news.

That could've changed a long time ago since no one knew Avengers 2 was going to be with Ultron except Whedon & Feige.
