Paul Bearer Going Into the WWE Hall of Fame Next Year, Will The Undertaker Induct Him? By Marc Middleton May 1, 2013 - 9:33:57 AM - Word going around at RAW was that Paul Bearer will indeed be the first name announced for the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame. It's said Bearer is a lock for next year. There will be talk at WWE headquarters this week about whether or not The Undertaker should do the induction. Taker never appears at the Hall of Fame to keep in character but there's a feeling that he should do the honors for Bearer for obvious reasons. Another name brought up for Bearer's induction is Michael "PS" Hayes. i think paul deserves it. it would be cool to see 'taker induct him. i wouldn't put my money on it though, undertaker is one man who seems to live by kayfabe. maybe have him and kane both do it?

I'm still in the boat of induct them both in the same year. Sounds like from interviews in the past, that is something Paul wanted.

IMO, Undertaker is the only person fitting to do the induction, save for maybe Kane. Or maybe have Kane induct both Undertaker & Bearer (as a unit).

Hell, I'd even be down for a Triple Introduction from Taker, Kane, and Foley.

He deserves it, but I really hate when they wait for a guy to die and then put him in the Hall Of Fame immediately after. It just seems so tacky to me. He should've been in there already.
Undertaker is the only man who can do the induction speech. It just wouldn't feel right with anybody else doing it. It's silly to just keep him away from doing normal stuff because of his gimmick. The guy is still a human being playing a character above everything else. I think they've been getting more and more leniant with his public appearances recently, though, which is good (appearing at Axxess, then he also appeared at I think an FCW event last year).

I absolutely feel that Taker will hands down do the induction. Taker doesn't live kayfabe outside of the ring because of all the signings and appearances he's apart of. I will definitely go to next years HOF if Taker is inducting Paul, I want to give a standin ovation.

I can see Kane or Foley However I can't see Undertaker doing it unless he dropped by to ABA but just wouldn't work again, if taker did it man it would be amazing to see

See, the reason I can't see them having Kane do it is because most likely Paul Bearer's real kids would likely be in attendance. I don't think, as silly as it sounds, that they want to break kayfabe and admit to the audience that Kane really isn't Paul Bearer's son and that he has real kids. I mean, they didn't even acknowledge it when he actually died, so why would they for a HOF speech?

Heenan, Dillon, Hart, Fuji are all in so its natural progression that its time for Bearer to go in. I really just wish they would have done it while he was still alive. Def deserves it.
