Okay here's the first episode of my Classic Wrestling Federation! Lots of work went into this one as every match has custom figs and I rebuilt my arena setup in a new bigger room. This one has it all but first check out the prolouge if you didnt see it before. Thank you and enjoy. johnjohncwfwrestling.webs.com/And here's the show! Damn, I was just thinking I need something to unwind and BAM, C.W.F.! I'm gonna enjoy this one SOOOOOOOO much! Will edit as soon as I finish watching, you know my answers are more on the short side, but I enjoy the heck out of feds with this type of flawless quality! Wooot! Incredible set up! Dude, are you kidding me? From where do you get this stuff? Glass pitcher with glass, telephone, tape dispenser, pencil jar, woooow! The arena entrance is looking great and the crowd is so colorful! Regarding your matches and posing, just FLAWLESS, you are a true master of the craft, sir! I like all them “suits” and I mistook Vince McMahon SR for Jimmy Carter. Hey, you have Regan, so it’s not so farfetched. A friggin’ city! Fudge! Double fudge! A FRIGGIN’ city! Lol, Magnum! The A-Team??? I’m so blown away by now, man. And you just keep adding awesome after awesome. Waiting on the second half! I like the bodies on them referees, they look stocky. Nice job on the GIF-like transitions for the aerial moves, works out great! Whoa! A disembodied voice! That’s always a good thing, right? Hey, it’s a Big Evil! Dark powers! Dark powers! (Awesome). An Army of Darkness too? (Too much awesome). I wonder who the Dark Lieutenant is… this is so “Last Stand” like! Elvira! (Drool…) Cool main event and sooooo looking forward to the next episode, you started off on the right foot, man! 5 stars? Noooo! 6 stars!!!

10/10 I love the setup. It was great. The poses were fantastic I love the arena, the crowd, the wrestlers, and promoters in the CWF. I just want to know why the second link is the same as the first one. the second one ends on the Steiners entrance.

That was a great debut show for your new fed! Kudos for your hard work and attention to detail! I really liked the heels going to the announcer's table table after their matches, seemed very studio-show like. Man, so many cool things to see, cameos, the gif moves, beautiful arena and backstage areas, my hat's off to you. You almost make a guy wanna pic fed again. My only complaint, matches were kinda short, but I am spoiled and I know you are working with a bad arm, lol. Can't wait to see how the committee decides to crown a champion, and if the Road Warrios will get a shot at the Brisco Brothers! Great job, thanks for sharing!

i really enjoyed this john. the main event was maybe a little short and the tag match was definitely the best of the night, but i understand why the title match was in that slot. the big evil character looks great, awesome choice to pair him with sullivan. the mcmahon storyline could be interesting if you continue it, and of course the presentation is always top notch with your feds, good work.

wow, just wow....not sure what to say is my favorite as i very much enjoyed the whole show... the celeb endorsements were a nice surprise also.... was well worth the wait John man great great job loved the feel of classic with the twist of not knowing for sure what could happen...
the plotting promoters is also a nice fresh touch. lot of big names in that room and i like the kind of heelish vibe i am getting off the Vince sr.
all and all a outstandingly awesome effort man 10/10

Looking forward to this!
-Interesting story developing with the network execs and also the hostility from the other promoters -Loving the entrance way -Opening match was decent, quite a few pics per move, but seemed quite short -Another decent match, liking Martel -The short, quick changing backstage promos are spot on for classic wrestling -Tag match was brilliant, easily the best match so far. So much going on, felt like everything a good tag match should be -Kevin Sullivan segment seemed very WCM in style. Liked it though -Liked the main event, will be interesting to see who challenges Tully for his belt
A very good first show. A lot of stories going on, will be interesting to see whether you can sustain that. I really hope you can as there are some fascinating ones going, and it could be a show on its own just with the backstage segments. The wrestling is very classic era-ish with no high flying moves, so that's good that you're sticking to true to the principles of the fed. Looking forward to the next one!

Your setup makes me envious. I can see you put a lot of work into everything and I admire that. I really enjoyed the show even though your content is based on a period before my time.

Thank you everyone for all the replies to my show I really appreciate it! Surely that's not all the replies you're going to get. You take the time to comment on everyone else's shows, the good, the bad, and the ugly, surely they will 'pay it back' and comment on your show. Surely, Shirley. Wars

Wars He's done well to get as many as he has - my latest one only got five replies. Sadly, it's the way the board is going. It takes about a month for all the replies to come in really, as people don't visit this board as regularly as they once did. Unfortunately, it's not kicked on since the Pic Fed Festival.

Sorry I'm so late on this. Loving the Eye of the Tiger intro...really sets the mood and puts you right in that time period. I like the little opening stuff you did, setting up your fed. The network executive stuff was really well done and something I've not seen really ever done in pic feds. Murdoch vs. Windham. Nice opening match. The selling of the atomic drop was so good! I love how you're not only using old school wrestlers, but your match psychology and selling is old school too. It's really well done. Your string work is also very good. Kevin Sullivan with Woman, man this is awesome. I love feds that use managers. Nice back and forth action, and nice to see some high flying moves from Martel. Would have liked to see Sullivan pick up the win, but it seems like you have plans for him down the road, so I'll see where it goes. Man, you're really do a good job of building up McMahon vs. The Territories stuff. Some of those scenes felt like they were out of a graphic novel or something! Really well done exchanges between Vince Sr and Jr. Ha! Got a kick out of all the celebrity endorsements. Oh man, the Steiners! This is gonna be a treat. Just a question, did you end up winning that LOTR 1 Scott Steiner prototype off ebay? I saw there was an auction for it, and yours looks like it's factory, so just curious. If so, that's awesome. Man that was a great match. Such awesome action, and felt like a rockin' main event. So many great moves and double teams. Great match. Oh boy...it seems you do have plans for Kevin! Man, this is why I was so excited about your fed. This time period and this era lets you have storylines that you couldn't really pull off in a modern fed. LOVE the 3 monsters you have come out of this. One of my favorite things about the old days was how they would build up these ridiculous monster heels, and you're getting three together in the first show! Cannot wait to see where this goes! Missing Link in this fed is great! More managers too! Nice little quick match. Kind of an odd main event, especially having to follow the Steiners / Midnight Express. But overall, this was such a good show. The arena was top notch, the photos were crips, and the posing was top tier. I really hope you'll keep this going regularly, because I'm on board all the way.

Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOO much for your well written out reply BRM, I really appreciate the time you took to do that. It was a lot of work making that show, and I still didn't get half of what I wanted to get accomplished in it. But perhaps a C.W.F Episode Deux will get that done. Now that the T.W.A has reformed I feel like I want to go forward with this. Well anyways thanks for all the kind replies and PM'S I have gotten for this show.

I loved reading this card. Your cast choice is excellent and your storylines are very engaging. You have obviously spent quite a bit of time perfecting the dialogue of your characters as they all harken memories of their real life counter parts. Your ability to accurately recreate an amazing time in wrestling's history brings a deep sense of nostalgia to me. I was born in the 1980's, but I have literally watching wrestling my entire life, so me this era contains fond, childhood memories, not the Attitude Era, as it does with others from my generation.
Tully Blanchard was the highlight of the show for me. I thought for a moment that he was going to refuse to defend his title. I kind of wish he would have. I loved the match with the Missing Link, but refusing to defend would have been a very Tully thing to do.
I'm intrigued to see where the Kevin Sullivan story line goes as well.
I do have a couple of questions. I am new to custom figures and returning to collecting, but I would like to set up shows like this. How did you make the belts that you are using? They are very appealing to me and I would love to be able to make them. Also, how did you set up the finishers so that the photo sequence looks animated? I have read several of these blogs today and you are the only person that I have see use that technique.
Thanks! I really, really enjoyed your post!
