WWF RAW IS WAR - August 18. 1997
RAW kicks off with the chaos from Last Week with Shawn Michaels taking on Mankind and thus the alliance between Shawn Michaels, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna and Rick Rude. And we have found out that tonight that Shawn Michaels and Triple H will team up against Mankind and The Undertaker. Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross are the commentators as Vince McMahon is in the ring ready to interview the former WWF Intercontinental Champion Rick Rude. We have not seen Rude in the WWF in 7 years, it's been a long time since Rick Rude has been in the WWF and we now know that he is the insurance policies of not only Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Rude snatches the mic from McMahon and does his usual "What I'd like to have right now is for the fat out of shape Atlantic City sweathogs" to cover their lips, open their eyes and pay attention to what a real man has to say. McMahon tells Rude that they saw him last week in a different capacity in the WWF like an insurance policy to Shawn Michaels. Rude says that what he is is an insurance salesman, short-term, long-term, life-term, disability or accidental. Supply the buck, he supplies the bang and years ago when he was healthy and fought the likes of the Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage and was the Intercontinental Champion. He supplied the bang but never got the gold and the only person that held him down was Vince McMahon. Rude says that McMahon doesn't need to know about Shawn Michaels and Triple H. He is the guardian shield,he supplies the muscle and that McMahon might have a little more insurance because like a good neighbor Rick Rude is always here. Rude says that what he's trying to say if he wants to be in good hands. Get Rude, it pays. Rude says it's been 7 years since he's been to the World Wrestling Federation. He didn't come back to the WWF to wrestle, he's here to be the insurance policy and somebody is in for a rude awakening, now hit the music. Rude gets a lot of boos as he leaves the arena. Rude certainly doesn't know how to make friends since he returned to the WWF. The commentators discuss that Vader will take on Owen Hart tonight, and also an announcement by Sgt. Slaughter on Stone Cold Steve Austin and plus a tag team match between Mankind and Undertaker against Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
(break) Back from break and we see Sgt. Slaughter and Shawn Michaels have a heated discussion with Michaels being told to wrestle. Match 1: Vader vs Owen Hart At Summerslam. Owen Hart tombstoned Stone Cold Steve Austin and dropped him on his head but tonight he will go one on one with Vader who has turned a new leaf over in the past few days. Vader dominates The Rocket in this match. Owen however makes a comeback and eventually puts Vader down with a missile dropkick but it's not enough to keep Vader down. Owen tries to go for the tombstone on Vader but Vader ducks and hits a running powerslam on Owen. Vader then heads to the top rope and hits the Vadersault to get the victory. Winner: Vader After the Match. The British Bulldog shows up with the European Championship Belt along with Jim Neidhart and they begin to put a hurting on Vader. Vader eventually fights back but when Owen gets to his feet. The Numbers are just too much. The commentators say that British Bulldog will defend the European Title against Vader at Ground Zero perhaps sending a message to Vader. Bulldog picks up Vader and hits him with the running powerslam. Owen, Bulldog and Neidhart both leave the ring leaving the former 2-Time WWF Champion down and out. Backstage. We see Mankind in the boiler room and says that his mind has not yet forgiven Undertaker but his body cannot forget, but the WWF says they have to be a team, so who knows Mankind might be The Undertaker's loyal partner of he'll put the final nail in his coffin. Mankind says it doesn't matter either way. His only concern is destroying the pretty face of Hunter Hearst Helmsley before they wrestle at Ground Zero. (break) Shawn Michaels is backstage as he's upset. Michaels says that he's upset that the WWF is still giving him the shaft, he's a former World Wrestling Federation Champion, Intercontinental Champion and Tag Team Champion. But still gets the shaft and that is why at Summerslam, he did his job right and at this point. Everything was a mistake, and when he's backed into a corner, all mistakes are stopped. He's tired of the conspiracies. He's tired of the people pointing the finger if he's in cahoots with Triple H, Chyna and Rick Rude. He will face The Undertaker at Ground Zero. Michaels says that McMahon and the rest of the World Wrestling Federation are going to get what's coming to them.
Match 2: The Rock w/The Nation vs Bart Gunn Rocky Maivia has been on a roll ever since he's joined the Nation of Domination. Lawler says that the commentators don't need to call him Rocky Maivia, he's now known as The Rock. Gunn gets in some offense against The Rock. But The Rock continues to assert his dominance by hitting the Rock Bottom in which Lawler calls it followed by the elbow drop he debuted last week and what a victory for the The Rock. Winner: The Rock After the Match. As The Nation begin to celebrate, Ahmed Johnson's music hits in the arena as he makes his way to the ring with a microphone in hand. Ahmed says that he hopes The Rock is ready for Ground Zero because he wants to face The Rock and he wants The Rock to become the first casuality of what Ahmed does to the Nation of Domination and he wants The Rock to become the first victim of Ahmed's end to the Nation of Domination and when he's through with The Rock and the Rest of the Nation. It will be just him and Faarooq and he will not sleep until Faarooq goes down. Backstage. The Undertaker is in the locker room and says that patience is a virtue but when it comes to Shawn Michaels. His is running out. Shawn ain't going to make it to Ground Zero cause he's going to get his hands on him tonight and if Mankind or Hunter Hearst Helmsley or Chyna or Rick Rude or Paul Bearer for that matter all get in his way. Then they will be permanately dismembered.
(break) Match 3: Kurrgan w/The Jackal vs Bradshaw w/Barry Windham This should be a catch as catch can battle between these two giants as Kurrgan has yet to be undefeated in the WWF. Bradshaw and Kurrgan start off the contest by exchanging blows with one another with Bradshaw getting the better of them. Bradshaw eventually tries to take the big man down but it's no use as Bradshaw hits a big boot on him but it doesn't even knock him off his feet. Bradshaw runs off the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle and Kurrgan still won't go down. Bradshaw hits another shoulder tackle and the momentum puts Kurrgan down on the ropes as Bradshaw pummels away at him. Kurrgan's tied up but as Bradshaw goes for a move. Kurrgan boots him in the face and he breaks free. Kurrgan picks up Bradshaw and hits the Iron Claw Chokeslam on him to get the victory over the Blackjack. Winner: Kurrgan After the Match. Jackal gets on the microphone and says that Kurrgan is undefeated in the WWF and no one has tried to beat him. No one has tried to stop him and there is nobody on that WWF Roster that cannot stop him. Jackal says that RAW doesn't have a show next Monday, but he's heard that there will be one next Saturday Night. There is another challenger that Kurrgan wants to face on the roster and that man is The Undertaker. What?. Jackal says that They are giving Undertaker a chance to face Kurrgan to try to stop this gargantuan. Jackal tells The Undertaker to think about it. But they will see The Undertaker next Friday night. (break) Sgt. Slaughter is in the ring with Vince McMahon as he's holding up the Intercontinental Championship. McMahon asks about the status of Stone Cold Steve Austin at Ground Zero. Slaughter says that the prognosis is that Stone Cold Steve Austin's neck is bad and that the WWF cannot risk him to defend the Intercontinental Title, so the Intercontinental Title will be vacant, but there will be a tournament after Ground Zero and the tournament will continue onto Bad Blood on October 5. 1997, And when Stone Cold comes back a 100%. He will be 100% ready to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship. Slaughter says that at Ground Zero. Stone Cold will be here to give up one half of the WWF Tag Team Title Belts as well, and why. There will be a fatal-four way match for the Tag Team Titles. It will be The Headbangers vs The New Age Outlaws vs The Legion of Doom vs Tajiri and Jushin Thunder Liger. Then suddenly Bret Hart's music plays in the arena as he comes out with Owen, Neidhart and Bulldog, and it doesn't seem like Bret's happy at all. Bret then screams at Slaughter to tell Slaughter to do the right thing and give the Intercontinental Title to Owen Hart. Because Owen is the better Intercontinental Champion than that redneck Stone Cold Steve Austin ever was. Slaughter blatanly refuses. Slaughter says that championships are not handed out that way. If Owen wants to become the Intercontinental Champion. Then he's going to have to earn it in a tournament just like he said. There will be 8 competitors for this tournament, all Owen has to do is defeat 3 competitors to win the Intercontinental Title. Bret says that's fine, but he thinks Slaughter is doing a terrible job in booking him in a match at Ground Zero for the WWF Championship against that psychopath who needs to be in a straight jacket and in a mental institution. Ken Shamrock. Bret says that everyone knows at the King of The Ring. He got beat by Ken Shamrock. But if he loses again to Shamrock. Then it's Sgt. Slaughter he blames. Bret says that he will do anything in his power to retain the WWF Championship at Ground Zero at all costs cause he won it fair and square at Summerslam. He didn't need anyone's help at all. Slaughter says that if Bret can prove that he can beat Shamrock at Ground Zero. Then he'll prove he can do it on his own, but no Hart Foundation members allowed at ringside. Because if they do interefere. Then not only Bret loses the match, but is stripped of the title and another thing if Bret gets counted out or disqualified. He is stripped of the title as well and Ken Shamrock is awarded the WWF Championship. Slaughter says that he wants to see Bret and Shamrock have a good fight, and win, lose or draw. He knows Bret can follow the rules. Bret says that he doesn't give a damn what Slaughter's rules are, he can beat Shamrock on his own. Just like he beat The Undertaker at Summerslam. He'll prove that to the world but he doesn't need Slaughter telling him what to do. Slaughter then says that he wants to make sure that Bret remains the WWF Champion if he makes it to Ground Zero. Bret has a stern look on his face. Slaughter says that next Friday Night. Bret is going to put the WWF Title on the line on Friday Night RAW against the man that's Bret had his troubles with too. And also a man that The Hart Foundation have had trouble with as well, a man that Bulldog defeated at Summerslam to retain the European Title. And that man is Sycho Sid. Bret flips his lid as he knows that he's going to have to defend the WWF Title against Sycho Sid. Slaughter says that Bret can have Owen and Bulldog in his corner, but Sycho Sid will also have Ken Shamrock and Vader in his corner as well. Then the rest of the Hart Foundation begin to surround Slaughter until Sid's music plays as he comes out with Ken Shamrock and Vader. Then the rest of the Hart Foundation start to retreat as they see Sid. Shamrock and Vader make their way to the ring. Sid, Shamrock and Vader both stand tall in the ring as they stare down The Hart Foundation as RAW takes another commercial break. (break) A clip is shown of Goldust and Marlena at the Atlantic City Beach earlier today.
Match 4: Tag Team Match The New Age Outlaws vs Tajiri and Jushin Thunder Liger These two teams after finding out that they will face off in a fatal-four way match at Ground Zero for the Tag Team Titles are already in action in this tag team match. Liger and Tajiri have some good offense against The Outlaws, but the Outlaws fight back to slow Tajiri and Liger's momentum. Tajiri eventually makes the hot tag to Liger as Liger comes in a house of fire against The Outlaws. But The Outlaws battle back and are able to get the victory over Tajiri and Liger with Gunn hitting the rocker dropper on Tajiri to get the victory. Winners: The New Age Outlaws Backstage. Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chyna are interviewed as Helmsley says he's not afraid of The Undertaker or Mankind, and says that when "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels" does the crime, he has to do the time. He then says if Vince McMahon wants a war with him, he's got one.
(break) Match 5: Ken Shamrock vs Brian Christopher w/Jerry Lawler The number one contender for the WWF Championship is in action against Jerry Lawler's son Brian Christopher. Christopher hardly never gets in any offense but Shamrock fights back and is able to put Christopher away with the Belly to Belly Suplex and makes Christopher tap out with the anklelock to get the victory. Winner: Ken Shamrock
(break) Match 6: Tag Team Match The Legion of Doom vs Kama and D' Lo Brown w/Faarooq and The Rock Should be an explosive tag team match between The Legion of Doom against Kama and D' Lo. The LOD have been announced as one of the four teams to join the Fatal-Four Way Tag Team Title Match at Ground Zero. Kama and D' Lo get a good amount of offense with distractions by Faarooq and The Rock. But the LOD fight back and with intereference from Ahmed Johnson and the DOA brawling with The Rock and Faarooq. The LOD get the victory by hitting D' Lo with the Doomsday Device to get the victory. Winners: The Legion of Doom (break) The commentators announce that next week two matches have been signed for Friday Night RAW. The Undertaker will take on the Undefeated Kurrgan and Sycho Sid will battle Bret Hart for the WWF Championship. And also we will get an exclusive interview from Stone Cold Steve Austin from his home in Houston. TX.
Match 7: Tag Team Match Shawn Michaels and Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Chyna and Rick Rude vs Mankind and The Undertaker This is going to be a tag team match for the ages here in RAW is WAR History. Michaels and Helmsley on opposite sides taking on Mankind and The Undertaker. Mankind and Helmsley start it off while The Undertaker is chasing Shawn Michaels to the outside, eventually they make it to the apron with Mankind getting the advantage on Helmsley but Helmsley is able to fight back by hitting a high knee on Mankind but Mankind hits a clothesline and makes the tag to The Undertaker. Undertaker pummels away at Helmsley and whips him into the ropes hitting a high back body drop on him. Taker sees Michaels and knocks him off the apron with a hard right hand. Taker boots Helmsley in the gut and grabs him by the arm hitting the ropewalk taking Helmsley down to the mat. Taker drops the elbow on Helmsley but Helmsley kicks out at 2. Taker then makes the tag to Mankind and surprisingly enough Mankind and Undertaker have worked extremely well as a team in this match. Helmsley eventually gets the upper hand and tags in Shawn. Michaels runs off the ropes and hits a flying forearm knocking down Mankind. Michaels gets to his feet and mocks The Undertaker's pose by doing the kneel motion. Michaels then heads to the top rope and hits an elbow drop on Mankind. Michaels goes for the cover but Mankind kicks out at 2. Michaels continues to pummel away at Mankind and Mankind tries to fight back and whips Shawn into the ropes but Shawn hits a swinging neckbreaker taking Mankind down. Michaels goes for the cover again but Mankind kicks out at 2. Michaels tags in Helmsley and Helmsley hammers away at Mankind and locks in the sleeper but Mankind gets Helmsley with the Mandible Claw. Helmsley then counters and tries to go for a suplex but Mankind ducks and hits the Double Arm DDT on Helmsley and makes the hot tag to Undertaker. Taker comes in and hammers away at Helmsley. Michaels gets out of the apron and talks with Rick Rude. Taker is going right for Helmsley as Michaels is still talking to Rick Rude. Helmsley attempts to hit Undertaker with the pedigree as Taker whips Helmsley into the ropes but Undertaker hits a back body drop on Helmsley and nails Helmsley with the Chokeslam, but will he go for the tombstone?. Rick Rude eventually enters the ring but he's on the apron, but speaking of. Chyna's now in the ring. Taker sees Chyna and grabs her by the throat but there's Rick Rude with a chair to the back of The Undertaker and that's a disqualifaction win for The Undertaker and Mankind. In the inside of the ring. Michaels takes Mankind out with Sweet Chin Music. Winners by DQ: The Undertaker and Mankind
The Undertaker begins to move closer to Rude. Helmsley gets up and tries to attack The Undertaker but Taker grabs him by the throat again and goes for the Chokeslam but Michaels has the chair and hits Undertaker in the head with it, and that was no accident at all. Michaels just hit The Undertaker with a steel chair just like he did at Summerslam. Michaels begins to pose laying over The Undertaker's body with Helmsley, Rude and Chyna but look at this Undertaker just sat up and he is also busted open. Michaels, Helmsley, Rude and Chyna all leave the ring and The Undertaker is chasing right after them. RAW goes off the air with The Undertaker stalking all four of them.

WWF FRIDAY NIGHT RAW MAIN EVENT - August 29. 1997
Dok Hendrix and Jim Ross are your hosts for tonight, they go over tonight's card, They talk about a massive match happening between Kurrgan and The Undertaker and Sycho Sid will wrestle Bret Hart for the WWF Championship, and plus. British Bulldog will face off against Ken Shamrock in a non-title match that starts now.
Match 1: Non-Title Match Ken Shamrock vs The British Bulldog Just 9 days before his big title match with Bret Hart. Ken Shamrock will face off against the European Champion The British Bulldog. Bulldog and Shamrock start the match off by exchanging blows with one another, it's not going to be pretty. Shamrock sends Bulldog out of the ring with a clothesline but Bulldog battles back and hits the 1997 King of The Ring Winner with a vertical suplex. Bulldog grabs Shamrock and goes for another Vertical Suplex but Shamrock counters it into a German Suplex. Shamrock goes for the cover but Bulldog is able to get a kickout. Bulldog fights back and goes for a clothesline but Shamrock nails him with a spinning heel kick and tries to go for the anklelock but Bulldog rolls out of the way. Bulldog and Shamrock continue their fight back and forth with Shamrock this time getting the upper hand. Bulldog tries to go for the Running Powerslam but Shamrock ducks it and hits the Belly to Belly Suplex and covers The Bulldog to get the win. And what a surprising victory for Ken Shamrock, just nine days before his title match against Bret Hart at Ground Zero. Or will Bret be the WWF Champion tonight as he takes on Sycho Sid?. It could be Sid vs Shamrock at Ground Zero for the title. Winner: Ken Shamrock Sunny interviews Bret Hart about his matchup against Sycho Sid. Bret says that once again the WWF has screwed him over by taking on a monster like Sycho Sid. Sycho Sid doesn't have the attributes just like Bret Hart. Bret says that the match by all rights should've been a non-title match. But Sgt. Slaughter wants to pull one over on The Hitman, well Bret is a fighting champion and he is going to retain the title against Sycho Sid. Bret says he doesn't care who the master and the ruler of the world really is. He doesn't care what time it is. And he doesn't care who the World's Most Dangerous Man is, all that matters is with all the odds. He is going to retain the WWF Championship. And he is going to make sure of it. Cause with Davey Boy and Owen by his side tonight. He has confidence in himself why, because he's the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. (break) The Commentators take us to Kurrgan and the Jackal talking about Kurrgan's match with The Undertaker. The Jackal says that he's got Kurrgan all prepared for The Undertaker. The Undertaker may have dominated the WWF 7 years ago, but this is a new giant that is looking to dominate the World Wrestling Federation and is looking to take it by storm and that's the monster Kurrgan. Jackal says that Kurrgan is going to manhandle The Undertaker tonight and leave him six feet under. Match 2: The Rock w/The Nation of Domination vs 8-Ball w/The DOA The Nation and the DOA have been at each other's throats, but this should be an interesting one on one match between 8-Ball and The Rock. 8-Ball gets some offense in on The Rock but The Rock fights back and continues his dominance ever since he's joined the Nation of Domination. 8-Ball battles back and hits The Rock with a big boot to the face. Kama gets on the apron to distract 8-Ball and here comes Crush to take him off the apron, and the fight is on between The Nation and the DOA and that distraction alone allows The Rock to surprise 8-Ball with the move he calls The Rock Bottom and follows it up by hitting a running elbow drop off the ropes to get the victory. Winner: The Rock The Rock and The Nation make a hasty retreat as the DOA begin to get in the ring, but what a victory for the newest member of the Nation of Domination, But will he be victorious at Ground Zero against Ahmed Johnson?. (break) A clip is shown of Shawn Michaels's old days in the World Wrestling Federation followed by his Recent Attitude set to "Mr. Self Destruct" by Nine Inch Nails. In The Ring, Kevin Kelly is set to interview Shawn Michaels about his match with The Undertaker at Ground Zero. Michaels gets in the ring with Kevin Kelly talking about Michaels's match with The Undertaker at Ground Zero. Michaels says that he's fought a lot of people in the World Wrestling Federation, a lot of WWF Giants to be exact, he's stepped in the ring with a lot of WWF Superstars in the past, present and future and he can name them all, Bret Hart, British Bulldog, Marty Jannetty, Razor Ramon, Diesel, Vader, Owen Hart, the list goes on and on and on. But for The Undertaker, that's one man he has never fought. And now people are blaming him for what he did at Summerslam. He called it right down the middle. He called it fair and square and now people want to point the finger at him. Only people are naïve and thank that Shawn Michaels deserves to go to hell at Ground Zero for what he did at Summerslam, but newsflash people it ain't going to happen. Kelly talks about Michaels's relationship with Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Rick Rude and Chyna. Michaels says that his friendship with Helmsley, Rude and Chyna is strictly business. Everyone knows about the story between Michaels and Helmsley, When Helmsley came to the WWF, who was that person that helped him find his way. Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid. And who's been here for Helmsley since day one when he came to the WWF. The Heartbreak Kid. Michaels says that Helmsley was losing his fair share last year, so Michaels has now helped him find it. And as far as Rick Rude goes, he is the insurance policy for Michaels. He was the one that met Shawn backstage 9 years ago and told him that Shawn's going to be a star and he was a big star. And now with him, Rude, Helmsley and Chyna all together. There is no stopping The Heartbreak Kid from burying The Undertaker at Ground Zero and don't think Bret Hart that he's off the hook because he still has unfinished business with him. Not only will they take over the World Wrestling Federation, but they will no longer play by anyone's rules. And now for that, hit his music. Michaels leaves the ring as he's got a big date with The Undertaker soon enough, but suddenly the lights go out as Undertaker's music hits in the arena and it looks like Shawn may be going nowhere now. The Undertaker starts to make a beeline towards the ring. We know he's got a match with Kurrgan coming up next. But it looks like he might have a match with Shawn Michaels right now. Michaels escapes the ring and The Undertaker snatches the mic from Kevin Kelly. Taker says that he doesn't care how many friends Shawn Michaels has and he really doesn't give a damn about Michaels and his friends taking over the WWF. Because still Shawn will pay the consequences of what happened at Summerslam. Taker says that when he gets through with Shawn Michaels at Ground Zero. He is going to drag Michaels's soul to the gates of hell and leave it to rot. And if any of his friends help him, they will feel the same cause and they will rest in peace. Taker stares down Shawn as his match with Kurrgan is up next. (break) Match 3: The Undertaker vs Kurrgan w/Jackal The undefeated Kurrgan has dominated the World Wrestling Federation, but tonight, this could be a big test for him as he goes one on one with The Undertaker. The two giants go eye to eye with one another. Kurrgan then grabs Undertaker by the throat as Undertaker goes for a strike but look at this The Undertaker retaliates with a choke of his own and both men are choking each other, but Kurrgan breaks Undertaker's grip and throws him to the turnbuckle by throwing right hands and chops on The Undertaker and look at Kurrgan, he is all over The Undertaker. Taker fights back and throws hard right hands at Kurrgan, but none take the big man down to his feet. Undertaker runs off the ropes and Taker goes for a clothesline but Kurrgan ducks and sends Undertaker to the outside with a clothesline but Undertaker lands on his feet. Taker gets in the ring and Kurrgan tries to go for a headbutt but Undertaker hits a uppercut to the throat and Taker gets back to the ring throwing another right hand at Kurrgan and Undertaker grabs Kurrgan by the arm and sets him up for the signature ropewalk. But Kurrgan grabs Undertaker and hip tosses him to the mat. Kurrgan grabs Undertaker and whips him into the ropes hitting a big boot on The Undertaker and this match has been all Kurrgan. Kurrgan continues to gain the upper hand but Undertaker fights back and finally brings Kurrgan down with a jumping DDT and Jackal can't believe it. Kurrgan has finally been taken down by The Undertaker. Taker runs off the ropes and hits the big leg drop on Kurrgan. And Kurrgan may be in trouble. Kurrgan's streak may come to an end. Kurrgan gets to his feet but Undertaker is waiting for him and Taker grabs Kurrgan by the throat and goes for the chokeslam and he connects with it. Taker just chokeslammed the 350-pound monster Kurrgan. But wait a minute here comes Shawn Michaels with a steel chair in hand and just as Taker has Kurrgan up on his feet. Michaels looks to swing for The Undertaker but Undertaker turns around and sees it and Taker snatches the chair from Michaels's hands and it may be redemption time for Michaels. Michaels begins to escape but Taker still has the chair and Kurrgan is up on his feet and Undertaker hits him hard with that steel chair and Kurrgan doesn't go down and Taker hits a second chair shot but Kurrgan still won't go on his feet. And finally Taker hits Kurrgan with a chair and takes Kurrgan down and Undertaker has been disqualified. Winner By DQ: Kurrgan Taker has been disqualified for hitting Kurrgan with that chair, and Taker tries for it again as Kurrgan gets to his feet and Undertaker does again and that fourth chair shot knocked Kurrgan all the way to the outside. Jackal gets in the ring and snatches the chair from The Undertaker but Undertaker grabs Jackal by the throat and looks for a chokeslam, but instead he lifts Jackal up and stares down Shawn Michaels with a point to the finger and Taker drives Jackal to the mat with the Tombstone Piledriver. Undertaker then begins to chase after Shawn Michaels as he leaves the ring. (break) A clip is shown of Summerslam with the Intercontinental Championship Match between Owen Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin with Owen dropping Austin on his head, They talk about that at Ground Zero, Stone Cold will vacate the Tag Team Titles and the Intercontinental Title. And after that. A camera will be at Stone Cold's house next week.
Match 4: Owen Hart vs Flash Funk Owen Hart hasn't been the same since losing the Intercontinental Title at Summerslam. Owen wants to get the Intercontinental Title back as he takes on Flash Funk. Funk gets a little bit of offense against Owen but Owen fights back and starts to show a lot of dominance and attempts the Sharpshooter but instead Owen grabs Funk and kicks him in the gut and nails him with the Stunner. Owen is mocking the Rattlesnake, Owen then grabs Funk's legs and connects with the Sharpshooter to get the victory. Winner: Owen Hart Backstage. The Commentators talk to Dude Love about Dude Love vacating the Tag Team Titles at Ground Zero. Dude says that it's hard that he has to vacate his titles with his good old friend Stone Cold Steve Austin but he hopes The Steve-O gets better, as far as he's concerned, he also heard that Mankind will face Hunter Hearst Helmsley at Ground Zero. He wants his friend Mankind to beat Helmsley's butt, but as far as Owen Hart is concerned. Dude Love hopes that Stone Cold can return and put a little heavy duty butt kicking on Owen Hart so that he can get the Intercontinental Championship back. Dude says that he could be in that tournament and fight for the Intercontinental Title and he hopes that it could be him and Owen, because he's ready for a singles career and he's ready to win a WWF Championship. Ohhh have mercy. (break) Match 5: The Legion of Doom vs Faarooq and Kama w/D' Lo Brown and The Rock The New Age Outlaws are watching the match on Commentary. They begin to stare down The Legion of Doom. The LOD despite the distraction get some offense in against Kama and Faarooq, but Kama and Faarooq fight back and begin to wear down Hawk, until Hawk makes the hot tag to Animal. Animal begins to come in a house of fire on Faarooq and Kama. The LOD attempt to win the match by hitting the Doomsday Device, but the New Age Outlaws begin to distract The Legion of Doom and that allows Kama to surprise Animal with a superkick to the face followed by a spinebuster by Faarooq to get the victory. The Outlaws just got away by distracting The Legion of Doom. Winners: Faarooq and Kama
Backstage, Michael Cole interviews Paul Bearer about his relationship with Vader. Bearer says that Vader used to listen to him, but there is no relationship with him and Vader because at WrestleMania 13. Vader lost the WWF Title to The Undertaker and now Vader is his own shell of a man, Bearer says that Vader will never be nothing without Paul Bearer, so he doesn't care what Vader does now. But as far as he's concerned, he's ready to bring Kane to the World Wrestling Federation, because Kane's been waiting an opportunity to destroy The Undertaker, his face is scarred. But Kane tells Paul Bearer that he's ready to destroy The Undertaker, Cole asks Bearer if Kane is really coming to the WWF. Bearer asks Cole like The Undertaker to call him a liar. Bearer says that there are no if's, there are no but's. Kane is alive and he's coming to the World Wrestling Federation soon, all The Undertaker has to do is be prepared because Kane will be here soon enough and when he does. The Undertaker will never rest in peace. (break) Shawn Michaels begins to walk to his car as he's about to leave, then Sgt. Slaughter talks to him about next week. Slaughter says that he knows Michaels has a match at Ground Zero against The Undertaker, but he wants to give Michaels a tuneup match before Ground Zero, Michaels sarcastically asks who is he going to face?. Slaughter says that Michaels is going to go one on one next week in the ring with Ahmed Johnson. Michaels begins to get in Slaughter's face, and what a match that will be ladies and gentlemen next week, Michaels vs Ahmed Johnson.
Match 6: WWF Championship Match Bret Hart w/The Hart Foundation vs Sycho Sid w/Vader, Ken Shamrock and Goldust Apparently it looks like Goldust wants to join Sycho Sid in his corner cause Goldust still has personal issues with The Hart Foundation as well. Bret starts the match off by locking up with Sid but Sid throws him down. Bret begins to throw right hands at Sycho Sid but Sid is unaffected by that and hits a back elbow on Bret Hart with Bret running off the ropes. Sid begins to whip Bret into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Bret knees him in the gut and goes for a clothesline but Sid hits him with a clothesline of his own. Sid whips Bret into the buckle but Bret kicks him in the face and chopblocks the knees of Sid and Bret has now begun to take advantage, and Bret goes straight for the legs of Sycho Sid and Bret begins to continue the momentum against Sid but Sid starts to fight back but Bret knees him in the gut and hits him with the Russian Leg Sweep and goes for the cover but Sid is able to kick out at 2. Sid is starting to feel the momentum back and makes a comeback by hitting a sidewalk slam on Bret Hart and follows it up with a leg drop but Bret is able to kick out at 2. Sid scoops Bret up and hits snake eyes and whips Bret into the ropes and nails a big boot to the face. Sid then hits another leg drop on Bret but Bret again kicks out at 2. Sid then heads to the top rope and goes for a move but Bret crotches the ropes down and Bret heads to the top rope with Sid and hits a massive superplex on the big man. Bret goes for the cover but Sid kicks out at 2. Bret then heads to the top rope again and goes for the bulldog but Sid throws him down and grabs Bret by the throat and nails the chokeslam. This could be it. Sid is mere moments away from getting his first WWF Championship victory. Sid then grabs Bret and goes for the powerbomb but the referee's distracted by Owen and The Bulldog and that allows The Anvil to come in and attack Sid, Sid then fights back against Neidhart and sends him over the top rope with a clothesline. And Goldust goes after Neidhart while Shamrock and Vader are fighting with Bulldog and Owen, there are fights all around the ring. Bret grabs the WWF Title Belt and looks to hit Sid with it but Sid ducks and chokeslams Bret to the mat again. Sid just chokeslammed Bret again, and now it looks like Sid is going to hit Bret with the jackknife. Sid then grabs Bret and goes for the jackknife but Bret throws Sid straight into the referee and the referee is knocked out and Bret hits a clothesline knocking Sid down and Bret then locks in the sharpshooter on Sid but Sid throws him off and kicks Bret in the gut and he hits the jackknife powerbomb. We may have a new WWF Champion, Sid could win the WWF Title here. Owen and Bulldog get in the ring and begin to attack Sid and Sid hits a double clothesline knocking both of them down to the mat. Goldust enters the ring and he's got the WWF Title Belt and he looks to hit Owen with it but Owen ducks and Goldust hits Sid by accident. Goldust just leveled Sid with the WWF Title Belt by accident. That was an accident. Bret then hits Goldust with a right hand and pins Sid with the referee coming to and Bret pins Sid to get the win and to retain the WWF Championship. Winner and Still WWF Champion: Bret Hart
After the Match, Shamrock and Vader begin to go after Owen, Bulldog, Bret and Neidhart as they start to chase him out. Goldust gets in the ring and begins to check after Sycho Sid and he tells Sid he's sorry. Sid begins to nod his head but wait a minute he just grabbed Goldust by the throat and Sid hits him with the chokeslam. Sid just chokeslammed Goldust. Sid has unbearably snapped. Sid then picks Goldust up and powerbombs him to the mat not once, not twice but three times. Why has Sid snapped?. It looks like the fans are unappreciative at what Sid has done. That was an accident, but Sid didn't think it was. Sid has snapped here on Friday Night's Main Event. Sid stands over the body of Goldust and Marlena gets in the ring and Marlena cowers in the corner with Sid staring her down and blowing a kiss at her telling her that Marlena's gonna be his soon. Marlena then slaps Sid but Sid grabs Marlena and shoves her down to the mat and then Sid calls her a bitch before leaving the ring. Sid walks out of the ring laughing as Friday Night's Main Event goes off the air.

You certainly picked a different era to do here. It wasn't the best time in WWF, IMO. WCW was doing pretty good though, IIRC. I'll be keeping an eye on this.

Free For All Match: Terry Funk D. Jim Neidhart Vince McMahon, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross are the hosts for Ground Zero. Match 1: The Rock w/The Nation vs Ahmed Johnson The Rock has been on a wave since returning from Injury and joining the Nation of Domination. And tonight, he takes on the former member of the Nation of Domination, Ahmed Johnson. Ahmed turned on The Nation last summer and is looking to end this feud with the Nation finally once and for all. Ahmed starts off the match by overpowering The Rock and does all that he can to put him down, but The Rock battles back by chopblocking the leg of Ahmed and The Rock begins to work on Ahmed's legs and after a distraction by The Nation. The Rock regains control in this match but Ahmed is able to fight back and almost gets the spinebuster on The Rock but The Rock is able to kick out at 2. The Rock eventually counters Ahmed's pearl river plunge by raking the eyes and going for a clothesline but Ahmed ducks the clothesline and hits the powerslam taking The Rock down. Ahmed then sets up for the Pearl River Plunge but the referee is distracted by Faarooq. Kama and D' Lo enter the ring but Ahmed fights them off and tosses Kama over the top rope to the floor and hits D' Lo with a spinebuster and that allows The Rock to surprise Ahmed with the Rock Bottom followed by the Running Elbow Drop to get the victory with help from The Nation. What another victory for The Rock. Winner: The Rock
Backstage, Michael Cole interviews Shawn Michaels about his match with The Undertaker. Michaels says that for 10 years he and The Undertaker are finally colliding one on one, this is the first time in WWF History that Michaels is looking and walking on Death's door. But the thing is, many people who've faced The Undertaker were afraid of him, but he's not afraid of Death and he's not certainly afraid of The Undertaker, what The Undertaker should be afraid of is when that steel chair cracked his head wide open weeks ago. But he might get that steel chair out tonight and beat the crap out of The Undertaker with it. Michaels says that when he defeats The Undertaker, he is going back to capture the WWF Championship and if he does, he doesn't care if it's Bret Hart or Ken Shamrock. He will be back on the mountain again.
Match 2: Sycho Sid vs Goldust w/Marlena This match is personal as it gets as Sycho Sid takes on Goldust. Before Goldust's entrance. Sid sneaks up on the entryway and attacks Goldust and Sid is just pummeling away at him. Sid tosses Goldust in the ring as the referee asks Goldust if he wants to start this match. Goldust tells the ref to go ahead and hits a slap to the face on Sycho Sid and that may have ticked Sycho Sid off even more. Sid dominates this match with Goldust attempting to fight back and he does by hitting a bulldog but Sid is able to kick out at 2. Goldust then takes Sid into the buckle and attempts to hit the Shattered Dreams but Sid grabs him by the throat and chokeslams Goldust to the mat. Sid then picks him up and hits him with the jackknife powerbomb to get the victory. And what a dominating victory for Sycho Sid. Winner: Sycho Sid After the match, Marlena begins to check on Goldust but look at this Sid grabs Marlena by the hair and he just carried her backstage. Sid has abducted Goldust's wife, how humiliating for what Sid did. Total humiliation for what Sid has done to Goldust. Goldust gets to his feet to look for Marlena but Sid has taken her, Goldust sits on the stairs dejected screaming for Marlena.
A clip is shown for Bad Blood that will be shown on October 5, 1997.
The commentators talk about the horrific incidents of what Sycho Sid did to Goldust's wife Marlena by taking her away. A clip is shown backstage of Sid carrying Marlena to the backstage area. What is Sid going to do to her?.
Match 3: Mankind vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Chyna These two have impressed the WWF for a good amount of time, Helmsley's been in the WWF for three years, he's been a three-time Intercontinental Champion and the 1995 King of The Ring. Mankind has yet to gain a WWF Championship, but his alter ego Dude Love has captured a title before and that's the Tag Team Titles. Mankind and Helmsley start things off by locking up with Mankind getting in a headlock on Helmsley but Helmsley takes him into the ropes and Mankind hits a shoulder block on Helmsley. And Mankind mocks Helmsley's curtsy. Helmsley gets mad and charges at Mankind but Mankind rocks him into the buckle with right hands and whips him into the ropes and hits a clothesline knocking Helmsley down. Mankind goes for the cover but Helmsley kicks out at 2. Helmsley fights back by reversing Mankind attempting to whip him into the steel steps but Helmsley throws him square into the steel steps that Mankind could have broken a rib with that. A live shot is shown with Stone Cold Steve Austin in his pickup truck arriving at the arena. Austin is here and he will have to vacate the Intercontinental Title and the Tag Team Titles here tonight. Helmsley continues to gain the advantage on Mankind but Mankind is able to fight back by reversing Helmsley's sleeper hold into a back suplex. Mankind and Helmsley both get to their feet and exchange blows with one another and it's a slugfest between these two and neither one of these two wanna give up here. Helmsley hits a high knee and goes for a clothesline but Mankind counters and hits a clothesline that sends Helmsley and himself over the top rope to the floor. Mankind then attempts a piledriver on Helmsley but Helmsley gets out of it and hits a DDT on Mankind on the floor and that's gotta be it. Helmsley tosses him back in the ring and goes for a cover but Mankind is able to kick out at 2. Mankind battles back in the match and hits a swinging neckbreaker on Helmsley and Mankind goes for another cover but Helmsley kicks out at 2. Mankind and Helmsley are just taking it to each other. Helmsley catches Mankind off the ropes by hitting a spinebuster and Helmsley goes for the cover again but Mankind kicks out. Mankind gets sent over the top rope with a clothesline and Mankind and Helmsley once again take the fight to the outside with Helmsley trying to toss Mankind into the steel steps but Mankind ducks and Helmsley gets thrown to the steel. Mankind gets on the apron and hits the elbow drop off the apron on Helmsley. The commentators discuss that this has been a seesaw battle between these two. Mankind then picks Helmsley and tosses him back in the ring and Mankind goes for the Double Arm DDT on Helmsley and hits him with it. Mankind could be setting up for the mandible claw but wait there's Chyna. Mankind sees her and grabs Chyna and attempts to punch her but there's Rick Rude, he's got the referee distracted and wait there's Shawn Michaels. Michaels gets in and hits Mankind with Sweet Chin Music. Michaels and Helmsley have had an alliance for quite some time, And it looks like Michaels has helped out his best friend. Helmsley then grabs Mankind and hits him with the pedigree and covers Mankind to get the victory in a hard-fought match but not without controversy. But you gotta give the effort to both Helmsley and Mankind, they put on a great battle. Michaels gets to his feet and raises Helmsley's hand, both Michaels and Helmsley could be having a celebratory victory tonight if Michaels can defeat The Undertaker. Winner: Hunter Hearst Helmsley Michael Cole interviews Crush and the D.O.A. about Crush's chain match with Faarooq. Crush says that he heard from Sgt. Slaughter that the D.O.A. and The Nation are both banned from ringside so that Crush and Faarooq can settle this to have one more fight, and how fitting it is that they are fighting in a chain. Crush says that Faarooq let him into his group, but Crush didn't believe in the group. And that is why Faarooq walks around claiming that racism has brought him down. Crush says that tonight he is going to beat Faarooq within an inch of his life. Match 4: Chain Match Crush vs Faarooq This match between the two may come to a head as they have gone at it, remember it was Faarooq that brought Crush to the Nation of Domination in 1996. The crowd doesn't seem to get into it like they have for the last three matches. But it gets a little violent for some as Faarooq blades Crush open with that steel chain. Crush eventually makes a comeback even when he's busted open, Faarooq battles back and attempts to hit him with the Dominator but Crush battles back and hits the Kona Vice on Faarooq, we haven't seen that Submission Move in a while. Crush begins to choke Faarooq out with the Vice and he's using the chain and Faarooq has to tap out. Crush just made Faarooq tap out to the Kona Vice by his old school move. Winner: Crush A video clip is shown of British Bulldog and Vader set to "Woo Hoo" by Blur with clips of Bulldog and Vader both showing their strengths, and this is going to be a catch as catch can battle between these two. Kevin Kelly interviews Vader about his match with The Bulldog and saying that Vader's had a change of heart the last few weeks. Vader says that he has, and ever since he lost the WWF Championship. He felt like he was losing his touch, he was brainwashed by Paul Bearer. But he could not stand of how Bret Hart and The Hart Foundation all of them disrespecting America. Vader says that he will be WWF Champion again someday, but before that what is standing in his way is the European Championship. Vader says that Bulldog is a hell of an athlete, But tonight. It will be Vader Time for The British Bulldog. Match 5: WWF European Championship Match Vader vs The British Bulldog w/Owen Hart & Jim Neidhart Of course The British Bulldog has Owen & Jim with him as he takes on the former 2-time WWF Champion Vader. And this is not going to be dropkicks or hurracaranas. This is going to be power and skill between these two. Vader starts the match off by knocking both Owen and Jim with a double clothesline as they came charging at him. Bulldog wanted an easy way out but that backfired. Bulldog then hammers away at Vader and hits right hands and nails a headbutt but that does not faze Vader. Bulldog then whips Vader into the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Vader ducks and nails Bulldog with a clothesline of his own. Vader whips Bulldog into the buckle and hits a splash in the corner. Vader then grabs Bulldog and bodyslams him to the mat and hits a running elbow drop on Bulldog. Vader goes for the cover but Bulldog is able to kick out at 2. Bulldog makes a comeback in this match by surprising everyone picking up the former 400-pound WWF Champion press slamming him to the mat. Bulldog then runs off the ropes and Vader gets to his feet and Bulldog hits a clothesline taking Vader down to the mat. Bulldog goes for the cover but Vader kicks out at 2. Bulldog continues to wear down Vader but Vader battles back by hitting a sidewalk slam on The Bulldog. Vader is now on fire in this match. Vader attempts to go for his signature powerbomb on Bulldog but Bulldog fights out of it and bodyslams Vader down to the canvas. Bulldog then heads to the top rope and goes for a flying clothesline on Vader but Vader ducks and powerslams Bulldog to the mat. Vader then picks Bulldog up and goes for the powerbomb again but Bulldog counters it again and picks Vader up for the running powerslam and he hits it. Bulldog could retain here in this match. Bulldog goes for the cover but Vader kicks out at 2. Vader kicked out of the Running Powerslam. Bulldog whips Vader into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Bulldog makes the mistake of putting his head down and that allows Vader to hit Bulldog with the powerbomb. Vader then signals for the Vader Bomb on Bulldog, but there's Jim Neidhart. Vader sees Jim and drags him into the ring and Vader grabs Jim by the throat and chokeslams him to the mat. The referee gets Jim out of the ring, but there's Owen Hart on the apron and Owen's got a can of pepper spray and he just pepper sprayed Vader. Bulldog has the European Title Belt as well and whacks Vader in the face with it. The referee sees it and disqualifies Bulldog. The Bulldog's been disqualified. Winner by DQ: Vader Bulldog, Owen and Neidhart don't care however as they just leave the ring. Bulldog didn't care about being disqualified at all. All he cared was avoiding Vader and that is what he did. Vader gets to his feet and he goes to the outside still temporarily blinded, but he's got a steel chair in hand and it looks like this fight may not be over, it may continue in the backstage area.
Dok Hendrix interviews Goldust about what happened in the match with Sycho Sid. Goldust says that he looked around for Sycho Sid and Marlena and he can't find them anywhere. Goldust says if he ever gets his hands on Sycho Sid. He is going to kill him and kill him he will. Goldust then spots something, it's Sycho Sid and Marlena. Goldust charges at him and this fight is continuing. Goldust then hits Sid with a trashcan and checks on Marlena to see if she's allright but before that, Sid gets to his feet and tosses Goldust into a wall and then Sid grabs Marlena and takes her away. What is Sid trying to do with Marlena?.
A clip is shown of Stone Cold Steve Austin set to "Runnin With The Devil" by Van Halen with Austin winning the 1996 King of The Ring, the Tag Team Titles twice and the Intercontinental Title. But the music comes to a slowdown with Owen hitting Austin with the Tombstone Piledriver at Summerslam almost paralyzing Austin for good.
Sgt. Slaughter is in the ring with Jim Ross. Ross tells Slaughter that this is not good for his new position. Slaughter says when he accepted his new position at Commissioner, it wasn't going to be an easy task, but he owes it to the WWF fans across the world and the people that are here with him tonight, and he is going to continue that job tonight and every night as long as he is Commissioner, and that is an order. Ross introduces Dude Love who comes out carrying one half of the WWF Tag Team Titles, Ross says that this is an unfortunate parts of the game. Love says that he's usually a happy cat, but tonight. There is no joy in Dudeville. Because he made a momentous decision and that he hopes Mankind is going to be okay, but deep down Dude can't defend his Tag Team Title on his own, Cause Steve is his race horse that brought him to the dance and it's a heavy heart that he relinquishes the Tag Team Titles. Then Stone Cold comes out to a big ovation. One of the best ovations as he carries both the Tag Team Titles and the Intercontinental Title. Austin has to vacate both here tonight at Ground Zero. Ross tries to talk to Austin, but Austin cuts him off and tells Vince that he can knock his stupid look off his face otherwise he will knock him out. Austin says that Slaughter sits there and looks at pictures of Austin getting dropped on his head, everybody's had enough of it. Austin says that Slaughter cannot tell him what to do. If Austin can wrestle, Slaughter can damn well believe it and that is an order. Austin says that he wants both belts. Austin teases giving it to him but Austin decides to throw both at Slaughter's feet and tells Slaughter to drop and give them 20 and demands Slaughter to pick it up or else he will stomp a mudhole in him and walk it dry. Austin tells Slaughter and Ross that they make him sick and the whole damn WWF makes him sick. Ross tells Austin to say something. Ross says that the fans would love to see Austin compete and he'll always say that he's the toughest SOB in the WWF. But the WWF will not risk permanent paralysis on Austin to wrestle. Ross says that they want to see him back sooner than later and he hopes that he'll be more than 100% very soon. Austin snatches the mic and goes to say a 100% but then stuns Ross to the mat. Austin has just snapped. The Rattlesnake cannot be controlled. He can't be contained. Austin wants to get his hands on the man responsible and that is Owen Hart. McMahon then attempts to get in the ring as Sgt. Slaughter returns to the ring reasoning with Austin while the refs and officials check on Jim Ross as Dude begins to hold Austin back. Austin has lost it. Austin then gives Slaughter both middle fingers. Austin has snapped, and he's out of control. Ross is still knocked out with officials and EMTs checking on him. Austin has crossed the line and may not have landed himself in firing, but may have landed himself in big time hot water.
Michael Cole interviews Owen Hart about what has happened. Owen says that it's a load of crap of what Austin did to Jim Ross and that Ross is a friend of mine. He didn't deserve that crap and these Americans condone it. They encourage it, but Owen doesn't buy it and he wants to see Austin fined, suspended and jailed. And that Austin should not be in the WWF. And that's the bottom line. But all that matters is Bulldog is still the European Champion and Bret Hart will show Ken Shamrock why he is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Match 6: Fatal-Four Way Tag Team Match for the WWF Tag Team Championship The New Age Outlaws vs The Headbangers vs Tajiri and Jushin Thunder Liger vs The Legion of Doom Austin and Dude may have forfeited their titles, but that doesn't mean the WWF Tag Team Championship will be vacated for a while, we are guaranteed new WWF Tag Team Champions here tonight. And remember the rules for the fatal-four way match, you can wrestle your opponent as well, and also you can still tag your partner or also tag somebody else. Mosh and Tajiri start the match off with Tajiri hitting kicks and uppercuts on Mosh and hits a dropkick taking Mosh down. The Crowd is not really into this match, but they start a chant of "We Want Austin". "We Want Austin". Cause of their anger and displeasure of what Sgt. Slaughter did here tonight. But they gotta be pleased of what Austin did to Jim Ross, even Vince has tried to make light of the situation by saying that Austin should be suspended and he's been informed that Sgt. Slaughter will make an announcement after this match to talk about who will be all in the Intercontinental Title Tournament Match. The action continues to go on in this match, and it gets heavy at the end of the match with The Legion of Doom getting the upper hand and dominating everybody until it's just them and The New Age Outlaws. Billy then whips Hawk into the ropes but Hawk reverses and Road Dogg makes a blind tag to Billy. Billy goes for the famouser but Hawk picks Billy up and lifts him up and it could be Doomsday Device time. But wait there's Road Dogg. He was tagged in. Dogg shoves Hawk into the buckle into Animal and Dogg hits the Pumphandle Slam on Hawk, Dogg pins Hawk to get the win and The New Age Outlaws have become the WWF Tag Team Champions. This is now Billy's second WWF Tag Team Title reign, he had not won the Tag Team Titles since 1993. Finally, Billy and Road Dogg after being brought up as jobber-to-the-stars have now become the WWF Tag Team Champions. Winners and New WWF Tag Team Champions: The New Age Outlaws
Sgt. Slaughter is standing by with Michael Cole. Slaughter says that he is appalled by Austin's actions. But he wanted to do the right thing, but Austin took it too far and he wants Austin to come to RAW tonight to apologize for what he did at Ground Zero. But in the meantime, He will name the competitors for the Intercontinental Title Tournament right now, there will be 16 competitors. 4 matches will happen tomorrow night, followed by 4 more on the 15th. So he will announce them now, Goldust, The Rock, Ahmed Johnson, Dude Love, Vader, Marc Mero, Faarooq, Crush, Owen Hart, Sycho Sid, Brian Christopher, Kurrgan, Terry Funk, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Flash Funk and Dan "The Beast" Severn.
A clip is shown of Shawn Michaels's arrival in the WWF as he was loved by the fans and clips are also shown of The Undertaker. They are set to "Plush" by Stone Temple Pilots. Clips are shown of what happened at Ground Zero and also the main event between Bret Hart and Ken Shamrock in where it resulted in chaos with Stone Cold Steve Austin attacking Owen Hart and the first time-ever match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Vince McMahon is in the ring with Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross commentating the show. McMahon introduces Sgt. Slaughter who comes out to a mixed reception. McMahon says that things are getting out of hand considering of what happened at Ground Zero. Slaughter says that Ground Zero was utter chaos, three hours was complete, uncontrollable chaos. He wants everybody that can hear his voice to listen up and listen good. There will be law and order here in the WWF, whether the wrestlers like it or not. There will be law and order here in the WWF whether the officials like it or not. There will be law and order in the World Wrestling Federation whether the fans like it or not. Jesse Ventura appointed him the commissioner of the WWF and he always does his job well, but he is sick and tired of what is going on here, especially last night at Ground Zero. That brings him to Steve Austin. Austin's actions last night at Ground Zero were completely out of line. Completely out of line, and Slaughter and the WWF will not put up with it and furthermore, he is suspended until Commissioner Slaughter receive a medical and doctor's order that says you can climb back into the squared circle. Everyone would like to see Stone Cold climb in the ring and kick ass, but he's suspended. And another decision as commissioner of the WWF. Starting tonight, there will be a 16-man tournament for the Intercontinental Championship starting tonight and the tournament will commence on October 5, 1997 in St. Louis, MO where a new champion will be crowned and he will order Stone Cold to be in St. Louis at Bad Blood on October 5 to present the Intercontinental Title to the winner of the tournament. Then suddenly Stone Cold's music hits in the arena as he comes out to a loud ovation. Austin has been suspended until he gets medical and doctor's clearance. But the Rattlesnake may strike again just like he did at Ground Zero. Austin says that he comes out here and talks about Law and Order, McMahon tells Austin to drop it and show a little respect. Austin says that he shows no respect and that's the bottom line. Austin tells Slaughter that he sits there and says "That's an order, this is an order". Austin says that he can look at Slaughter and the only thing Slaughter's ordering is a whole bunch of cheeseburgers. He also sits there and watches his doctor's report and that he's concerned about Austin's welfare. Austin says that he'll soon be on welfare, and he talks about delivering a title. Austin delivering the Intercontinental Championship, the only delivering will be is to open a can of whoopass on Slaughter's front door?. Austin then turns to leave the ring but all of a sudden, he gives the Commmissioner a Stone Cold Stunner. The Commissioner has been stunned by The Rattlesnake!. Austin has snapped, Austin wants Owen Hart and he wants him in the ring. McMahon challenges Austin and Austin begins to threaten him. It looks like McMahon is acting tough against Austin, officials and referees get in the ring. And look at this Austin and McMahon are face to face. What has come over the former Intercontinental Champion. Austin then gets on the commentary table and says that McMahon should take his ass to the back. The officials and refs try to stop Austin, Austin eventually takes his leave, Austin then picks up the microphone saying that he's not done tonight. He's going to find Owen Hart tonight and when he does. He promises and guarantees to break his neck tonight, Austin leaves the ring, the commentators announce that tonight is going to be a big night, and that the Intercontinental Title Tournament is coming up next when The Rock collides with DOA Member Crush, and Goldust will take on Dan Severn, followed by Hunter Hearst Helmsley taking on Dude Love and Ahmed Johnson taking on the big man who's been undefeated in the WWF. Kurrgan. And also tonight, Vader and Ken Shamrock will take on the team of Bret Hart and The British Bulldog in the main event, and plus. The Undertaker will be here tonight. But first, it will be Kurrgan and Ahmed to kick off the Intercontinental Title Tournament.
(break) Match 1: Intercontinental Championship First Round Tournament Match Ahmed Johnson vs Kurrgan w/Jackal Without a doubt this should be Ahmed's biggest challenge to date as he takes on the big man in Kurrgan. At Ground Zero, Ahmed suffered a loss to The Rock. But Ahmed would like to change all that if he can be the first man in WWF history to defeat Kurrgan. Ahmed gets in some big offense by throwing big right hands at Kurrgan but none of them faze the monster. Kurrgan then brings Ahmed down with a clothesline knocking him down. Ahmed does his desperate best to try to take Kurrgan down with a few shoulder tackles but still none of them faze the big guy. Kurrgan then takes Ahmed down with a powerslam and has the upper hand for a bit, Ahmed eventually fights back and takes the big man down with a flying clothesline off the top rope. Ahmed goes for the cover but Kurrgan kicks out straight at 2. Kurrgan battles back and hits a karate kick taking Ahmed down. Kurrgan begins to go for the claw but Ahmed breaks free and brings the big man down with a spinebuster. What super human power by Ahmed Johnson lifting up the 350-pounder for a Spinebuster but can he go for the Pearl River Plunge. Ahmed begins to lift Kurrgan but Kurrgan is too powerful. Kurrgan throws Ahmed into the ropes and begins to lock him in the claw. Ahmed tries breaking free and he does so. Ahmed then scoops Kurrgan up and look at this, he just bodyslammed Kurrgan. Ahmed has bodyslammed him. Ahmed runs off the ropes and hits a big splash on Kurrgan, Ahmed goes for the cover and Ahmed gets the win and ends Kurrgan's undefeated streak. Ahmed has ended the undefeated streak of Kurrgan. And Ahmed will advance to the quarterfinals, Ahmed's opponent will either be The Rock or Crush in two weeks time at Madison Square Garden on September 22, 1997. But what a surprising victory for Ahmed. Winner: Ahmed Johnson
The commentators talk about One Night Only in England on September 20, 1997. They talk about the main event will be Shawn Michaels battling The British Bulldog for the WWF European Title and also The Undertaker will collide with Shawn Michaels's friend Hunter Hearst Helmsley. The commentators say that despite it being in the UK, It will be broadcast to the entire world. (break) Match 2: Intercontinental Championship First Round Tournament Match The Rock w/The Nation vs Crush w/The D.O.A. The Nation and The D.O.A. have continued to brew their feud again, but this time The Rock or Crush will have a chance to make it all the way to the finals for the Intercontinental Championship at Bad Blood. The Rock and Crush exchange blows with one another with Crush getting the upper hand and we all know this feud has been personal as it gets. Crush gets the upper hand but The Rock eventually fights back against Crush and does everything he can to bring the big man down by going for the legs on Crush and he does a good job of doing so. Crush eventually fights back and almost puts The Rock away by going for his old signature hold he used in 1993, the vice grip. But Rock fights out of the Vice Grip into an awesome counter by using The Rock Bottom and the elbow drop which The Rock calls it The People's Elbow to get the victory. And The Rock has won without any help from The Nation, what a momentous wave that The Rock has getting since he joined The Nation of Domination. And The Rock will face Ahmed Johnson at Madison Square Garden in two weeks time. Winner: The Rock
A clip is shown of what happened at Ground Zero between Sycho Sid and Goldust with Sycho Sid abducting Goldust's wife Marlena and Goldust attempting to save her but everytime Goldust would catch Sid and Marlena. Sid would escape and take Marlena with him.
Kevin Kelly interviews Goldust about what happened last night. Goldust says that he don't know what Sycho Sid's mind is of him stealing Marlena away from him. First, he turns on him and then he wants to take his wife. Goldust says that Sid may be a psychotic crazy deranged person but Goldust is more bizarre than Sycho Sid. More crazier than him, Goldust tells Sid if Sid did anything to Marlena. He will hurt Sid so bad that he'll end up going to jail for, but in the meantime. He knows that the Intercontinental Championship is the most important thing to him right now, cause he's held that title two times and he hopes by some miracle that Sycho Sid makes it because if he does, he's not going to eliminate him from the tournament. But he's going to get him out of the World Wrestling Federation. Goldust says that Sycho Sid will never forget the name of Goldust. (break) The New Age Outlaws are in the ring as they are set to take on The Headbangers in a non-title match as you can clearly see The New Age Outlaws won the Tag Team Titles last night, Road Dogg has a microphone in his hand and says that last night. He and Badass Billy Gunn proved that they are now the best tag team in the World Wrestling Federation, they were held down for many years. And they had stupid gimmicks like The Roadie and Billy Gunn being a cowboy. But they proved all the critics wrong and they are now the Tag Team Champions. There's no one that is going to hold this team back. Because they are the best tag team in the business now, Demolition are no more, The British Bulldogs are no more, The Hart Foundation are no more, The Legion of Doom are no more. Every tag team that paved the way in the World Wrestling Federation are no more. And now they are the tag team champions and that the Dogghouse will be open to many tag teams that want this championship and if anyone thinks that they can beat them, well they've got another thing coming.
Match 3: Non-Title Tag Team Match The New Age Outlaws vs The Headbangers After the comments The Outlaws made, The Headbangers might have the opportunity to win this non-title victory and challenge The Outlaws for the Tag Team Titles. The Outlaws fresh off their tag team title win continue to gain their complete momentum over The Headbangers. The Headbangers are able to fight back against The Outlaws, and this is pretty much a good tag team match. But The Outlaws are able to get a successful win when they attempt the stage dive on Road Dogg, but Gunn saves The Road Dogg allowing Gunn to hit the Rocker Dropper on Thrasher to get the victory. The New Age Outlaws have continued their dominance once more over The Headbangers as they plan on never letting go of the Tag Team Titles anytime soon. Winners: The New Age Outlaws Backstage, Jim Cornette is prepping up with Dan Severn with Cornette doing the talking for him. Cornette says that no one has seen Severn since Summerslam and why is because he wanted to take some time off for the summer himself, but now Sgt. Slaughter has made this Intercontinental Title Tournament and if there is one man that should become the Intercontinental Champion, then that this is the Beast that should be the Intercontinental Champion, he'll bring prestigious to the gold like Stone Cold Steve Austin never did. Cause Austin went around stunning officials and even commissioners, what's next. President Bill Clinton?. Or Princess Diana in her grave?. Cornette just struck a nerve, Cornette should have not said that. Cornette says that either way Severn is going to fight his way to the tournament and become the Intercontinental Champion. (break) Clips are shown of The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels's rivalry and the commentators talk about the match at Ground Zero between the two. The commentators announce that at Bad Blood, the feud will culminate inside Hell in A Cell. The Most Ominous Steel Cage erected in the WWF with a top on it, there's only one way in through a padlocked door and there will likely be no intereference. Then suddenly The Undertaker's music plays in the arena as he is being introduced by Vince McMahon. Ross and Lawler also notice that the winner of this match will face the WWF Champion whoever he may be on November 9, 1997 at Survivor Series in Montreal, CN. McMahon tells Undertaker his reaction last night at Ground Zero. Taker says that Last Night he and Shawn Michaels opened the gates of hell, he felt his fire and he was burned by The Undertaker's. But to his credit, Michaels looked death right in the eye and never blinked, last night was just the beginning. But The Undertaker will never rest in peace until the flesh is rotting through his bones. McMahon asks about the Hell in A Cell Match at Bad Blood between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels to ensure that no wrestler will interefere so that a true victor will be declared. Taker says that Bad Blood or Hell in A Cell, Call it whatever. What it is is the beginning of the end for Shawn Michaels, there is no way out. And there's no way anyone of his buddies can get in. So what that means is when Shawn looks in the eyes of The Reaper and he pays for his crimes and that is when the music stops and the tolling of the bell begins. McMahon asks another question that also, the match is also for the #1 Contendership with the winner facing the WWF Champion at the 1997 Survivor Series whoever that may be. Taker says that he hopes it's Bret Hart because admittedly at Summerslam, Bret Hart never beat The Undertaker. It was Shawn Michaels that cost Undertaker the WWF Championship, there's still unfinished business between him and Bret Hart. Taker says that should Bret remain champion in those days, Bret will have to give his soul to the lord because that belt belongs to him and by hook or crook, he will become a 4-time World Wrestling Federation Champion again. Then suddenly, Shawn Michaels's music plays as he is in the locker room telling Undertaker to ring his bells somewhere else, last night. The Undertaker and the WWF backed Michaels into a corner, but he escaped because The Heartbreak Kid is a survivor. And at Hell in A Cell, he will survive. But just in case by some stroke of luck, some stroke of genius that he can bring him down. He's not going down alone, if he's going in the casket. The Undertaker will come along with him, Taker says that the only thing Shawn Michaels needs to rest assured is that Shawn Michaels will rest in peace. Taker then leaves the ring, what an explosion this will be at St. Louis, MO. And also, at One Night Only, The Undertaker will take on Shawn Michaels's new ally Hunter Hearst Helmsley and speaking of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, he and Dude Love will be coming up next. (break)
Match 4: First Round Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Chyna vs Dude Love At Ground Zero, Hunter Hearst Helmsley battled Mick Foley's first alter ego Mankind, but tonight he battles Mick Foley's other alter ego. Dude Love. Hunter and Dude engage into a slugfest to start the match off with Dude getting the upper hand, also do not forget. Hunter has had experience with the Intercontinental Championship, Last January of this month, he won the Intercontinental Title for the third straight time making him the first ever 3-time WWF Intercontinental Champion. He could win this tournament and become a 4-time Intercontinental Champion. Dude fights back against Helmsley but Helmsley battles back by hitting a facebuster and a clothesline. Helmsley gains the momentum against Dude but Dude fights back and drop toe holds Helmsley into the steel steps. Dude and Helmsley make their return to the ring with Helmsley continuing to gain the upper hand against Dude. In the middle of the match. Dude fights back and sends himself and Helmsley over the top rope with the two fighting out of the ring. Helmsley grabs Dude and attempts a pedigree on the rampway but Dude backdrops Helmsley and hits him with a clothesline. Dude and Helmsley continue their fight on the rampway and the ref has no choice but to count both men out so that means both men are out of the tournament. So whoever wins between Dan Severn and Goldust will get a bye. Winner: Draw Dude and Hunter still continue to fight after the match with Dude getting the upper hand over Helmsley, but then suddenly Shawn Michaels comes out to help his new buddy Hunter against Dude. Michaels and Hunter begin to beat down on Dude. Dude does his best to fight Shawn and Hunter off, but the odds are just too much. Then suddenly, The Undertaker runs down to ringside to go after Helmsley and Michaels. Michaels is able to escape, Taker eventually fights off Helmsley and whips him into the ropes hitting a big boot and Taker goes for a chokeslam but Michaels pulls Helmsley out of the ring. Taker stares both Helmsley and Michaels down, Dude then gets to his feet and begins to thank Taker but Undertaker grabs Dude by the throat and chokeslams him to the mat. Undertaker does not believe in love. All he believes is getting his hands on Shawn Michaels. But Dude and Helmsley one of them will not be in the quarterfinals because both men were counted out. But coming up next, Dan Severn will take on Goldust. Sunny is backstage interviewing The Hart Foundation, Owen then first talks about Stone Cold Steve Austin. He says that Austin should not lay his hands on another official, even if it's the WWF Commissioner himself Sgt. Slaughter, what Austin did at Ground Zero to Owen was assault and battery and if he could. He would press charges on Austin, but he's not. Owen says that he doesn't care if he has to win the Intercontinental Title in a Tournament, all he cares is about humiliating Austin when Austin has to give Owen the Intercontinental Title if he wins. Owen says that he's heard the threats of Austin threatening to hurt him, but he's not afraid. He's got some hired security with him if Austin does show up. Security are right behind Owen as Bulldog is the next to speak saying that at One Night Only, Shawn Michaels may have problems with The Undertaker, but at One Night Only in his hometown, he plans on embarrassing Shawn Michaels and he plans on retaining the European Title in his hometown, And even if Shawn has to bring his friends Helmsley & Chyna & Rude with him. Shawn is not going to win even with their help. Bret is the next to speak and says that last night, he beat Ken Shamrock fair and square. But as far as Shamrock goes, he's not going to give Shamrock a rematch anytime soon. Bret says as far as the Hell in A Cell Match goes, he's going to be more interested at Bad Blood watching Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker beat the living hell out of each other and he will be glad to interest them in an asskicking of their life at the 1997 Survivor Series in his hometown. Because he will prove that he is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
(break) Match 5: First Round Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match Dan Severn w/Jim Cornette vs Goldust Normally it would be mind games for Goldust, but it seems like Goldust is all business here tonight against Severn. Goldust begins to beat on Severn like Severn was Sycho Sid but Severn throws him down and continues to beat on him and just dominates this match. But Goldust is able to fight back and almost puts Severn down with a bulldog but Severn kicks out at 2. Severn is able to fight back against Goldust and goes for a suplex but Goldust counters and heads to the top rope by hitting a cross body and Goldust could be calling for the curtain call. But suddenly Sycho Sid's voice is heard on the titantron as Sid is backstage and he's got Marlena with him. Sid tells Goldust that if Goldust wants Marlena, come find her and Sycho Sid. Then Severn locks in an armbar on Goldust and Goldust has no choice but to tap out. That distraction alone has allowed Severn to advance to the second round, so far 3 have advanced. Ahmed, Severn and The Rock. The commentators announce that the matches will be announced later on in the show tonight. Winner: Dan Severn After the match, Goldust doesn't care about his broken arm. He wants to get back there to get Marlena away from Sycho Sid. Backstage, Sgt. Slaughter is talking with Ken Shamrock. Slaughter has an icepack from that Stunner he suffered. Slaughter says that he agrees with Shamrock, he got screwed at Ground Zero. Just because Bret said there will be no rematch, doesn't mean Bret doesn't make the rules around here. Slaughter does make the decisions, and he wants Shamrock to have that match against Bret one more time for the championship at Bad Blood, and just to ensure that will happen, there will be no intereference. Because Shamrock and Bret's match for the WWF Title will be at Bad Blood and it will be no disqualifactions, no countouts, and no pinfalls. Because the only way to win is to make your opponent say I Quit. Shamrock begins to smile at that decision telling Slaughter that Bret is in for a rough night. (break) We return from break backstage with Goldust desperately trying to find Sycho Sid and Marlena, he tells a few people if they've seen them. Then suddenly Sid sneaks up from behind to attack Goldust. But this time Goldust was ready, he and Sid start to exchange punches with Goldust tackling Sid and throwing him down and these two are getting into a pull apart, but wait Sid has just pulled a pitcher of hot coffee and throws it on Goldust. Lawler makes a remark of the McDonald's Coffee incident in 1992 where that old woman was burned with McMahon scolding him for that comment. Goldust still continues to fight despite having hot coffee thrown at him. Goldust then hits Sid with a trashcan with officials and refs stopping the fight, but wait Sid has taken Marlena again. Goldust is extremely frustrated that he has to be restrained by officials and referees. After the fight, we see Stone Cold Steve Austin outside in the arena in his pickup truck. The Rattlesnake is apparently still here tonight, he has promised and guaranteed to beat up on Owen Hart and has promised to injure Owen permanately tonight as well. (break) The commentators return to RAW with McMahon talking about the final 4 first round matches with Sid taking on Terry Funk. Vader taking on Faarooq. Owen Hart taking on Flash Funk and Brian Christopher going one on one with Marc Mero. Match 6: Tag Team Match Bret Hart & British Bulldog w/Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart w/Owen Hart's security vs Vader & Ken Shamrock Bret Hart thought he wasn't going to have a WWF Title Defense at Bad Blood, but it's not to be as he will defend it against Ken Shamrock, but this time in a match. He's most familiar with, an I Quit Match. Bulldog and Vader kick things off for their respective teams with Vader throwing down Bulldog. Vader and Bulldog exchange some heavy blows with one another with Vader getting the aggressive advantage. Ross talks about how Vader could be the odds on favorite to win the Intercontinental Title. In the middle of the tag team match, an eerie strange red light fills the arena, the commentators mention that it's the same red light that was seen last August with The Undertaker surrounded by the red light. McMahon mentions the fact that Paul Bearer is supposed to bring in Kane soon, could be here tonight?. The distraction has Bret and Bulldog gaining the momentum against Shamrock. Bret and Bulldog do a good job of isolating Shamrock away from Vader. Shamrock eventually battles back by hitting a german suplex on The British Bulldog and Shamrock makes the hot tag to Vader. Vader comes in a house of fire against Bret and Bulldog and almost gets the win by pinning the WWF Champion Bret after hitting a powerslam but Bret kicks out at two. Neidhart and Owen get on the apron but Vader fights them off. Bret then surprises Vader with a DDT and goes for the cover but Vader kicks out at 2. Bret goes to hit Vader with a piledriver but Vader backdrops out of it and Bulldog gets in and hammers away at Vader and whips him into the ropes but Vader gets blind tagged by Shamrock. Bulldog grabs Vader and eventually hits him with a running powerslam. Shamrock gets in and gives Bulldog a kick to the face. Bret and Shamrock begin to exchange blows with one another with Bret tossing Shamrock into the buckle but it's reversed. Bret puts a knee up as Shamrock came charging. Bret heads to the top rope but Shamrock catches him as Bret attempted a move off the top rope and hits a belly to belly suplex on the champion and Shamrock is now in the zone. Shamrock then locks in the anklelock on Bret and Bret has no choice but to tap, Shamrock has made the WWF Champion tap out. But can Shamrock do it at Bad Blood?. Winners: Ken Shamrock and Vader After the match, Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart along with Owen's security begin to rush the ring to attack Shamrock and Vader, why did Owen need those security guys to help?. Then suddenly, Stone Cold's pickup truck is heard in the arena as he arrives in his pickup truck. Austin gets in the ring but it seems like he's about to be outnumbered. Austin gets in the ring and tackles Owen down. Austin may be walking into a trap but he's got nothing left to lose. The Hart Foundation try to get at Austin but Vader and Shamrock get to their feet and go after Bulldog, Bret and Neidhart. Neidhart is thrown over the top rope by Vader, Bret and Shamrock engage into a brawl on the outside while Vader and Bulldog are fighting on the other side of the arena, Austin then goes at it with some of Owen's security. Austin tries to go for a stunner on Owen but Owen rolls out of the way. Owen's security try to go for Austin again, but Austin is a rattlesnake, he fights off many of Owen's hired security members. Austin grabs one of them and piledrives him to the mat. And also hits a Stone Cold Stunner on another one. Austin then picks up a steel chair and look at this, he's going to pillmanize one of Owen's security members. He's holding that chair around a security member's neck. Austin then goes to the top rope and puts a boot in that chair on the security member's neck. How incensed does Stone Cold want to get at Owen Hart?. How incensed does he want Owen Hart?. How obsessed does he want Owen Hart?. Officials and referees begin to get in the ring and Austin is leaving. Austin picks up another microphone and says that Owen may have gotten lucky this week, but next week. No matter what, he is going to go after Owen, and he doesn't care if he has many security members with him, the bottom line is he's going to kick Owen's ass and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so. Austin poses to the fans as RAW goes off the air. But the commentators take us to Paul Bearer.
Paul Bearer is backstage saying that that red light they just saw earlier was Kane's mind games. He says that Kane is on his way very sooner, And he hopes The Undertaker's watching because he's in for a surprise sooner in four weeks time. That red light is going to fall on everyone in the WWF and especially The Undertaker because Kane is more than ready to come to the WWF and rid the world of The Undertaker once and for all. Bearer has that laugh on his face as RAW goes off the air.

WWF RAW IS WAR - September 15. 1997 Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross are your commentators for the show as Ross talks about how Vince McMahon is not here cause there's no telling of what Stone Cold Steve Austin may do, but tonight, there will be an Intercontinental Title Tournament and speaking of Stone Cold, Austin is here tonight and he will be interviewed by Jerry Lawler.
Match 1: Intercontinental Championship First Round Tournament Match Owen Hart vs Sycho Sid w/Marlena Even though two are completely not fan favorites, the crowd seem to be behind Owen in this match as they don't like the way Sid has been mistreating Marlena at all. Owen gets a little bit of offense hitting Sid with huge right hands and finally takes Sid down with a dropkick and begins to go for the legs of Sid. The commentators talk about that another match has been added for One Night Only, it will be The Undertaker taking on Hunter Hearst Helmsley one on one. And Bret Hart will battle Faarooq for the WWF Championship. Sid fights back and hits a sideslam on Owen and begins to taunt at the fans with the fans chanting for Goldust. Owen eventually battles back in this match and goes for a move off the top rope but Sid catches him in mid air and hits a chokeslam on the Rocket and it looks like Sid will put this match away. Sid goes to hit Owen with the jackknife, but all of a sudden he sees Goldust and Goldust is at the top of the ramp. Goldust wants Marlena back, Sid gets distracted and that allows Owen to hit a jackknife rollup on Sid to get the victory. Owen Hart has advanced to the elite 7. He will face the winner of Marc Mero and Terry Funk later tonight. Winner: Owen Hart After Owen's win. Goldust runs to the ring and begins to try to go after Sid but Sid runs away and grabs Marlena by the hair. Sid has taken Marlena once again from Goldust. Goldust picks up a microphone and tells Sid that what Sid has is his wife and he wants her back, at Bad Blood. Goldust wants to kick Sycho Sid's ass. Sid says that Goldust is on but he still will have Goldust's wife, Goldust then gets out of the ring to try to go after Sid, but Sid still grabbing Marlena by the hair takes her away backstage.
(break) Match 2: Intercontinental Championship First Round Quarterfinals Match Terry Funk vs Marc Mero w/Sable Owen Hart has already won his match and will go on to face the winner of this match. Mero has returned to the ring tonight since WrestleMania 13 after an injury. Mero doesn't look like he's lost any ring rust as he goes straight for Funk. Mero attempts to put Funk away with the wild thing, but the fans begin to talk with Sable and that distracts Mero long enough for Funk to fight back and hit the moonsault to get the victory and Terry Funk will go on to face Owen Hart at Madison Square Garden next week in the quarterfinals. The commentators announce that Faarooq and Flash Funk will wrestle later tonight and Vader will take on Lawler's son Brian Christopher that gets Lawler upset. Winner: Terry Funk
The commentators begin to talk about the UK: One Night Only special with Shawn Michaels taking on The British Bulldog for the WWF European Championship, then suddenly the strange red light that we saw last week appears, JR says that this is the work of Paul Bearer who is announcing that Kane will come to the WWF, But is he here tonight?. The lights return to see nothing.
(break) Backstage, The Commentators begin to talk to the Nation of Domination. Faarooq talks about his match with Flash Funk, he says that Faarooq is going to end Funk's dancing before it even begun and then he moves on to The Rock. Faarooq says that he hopes The Rock wins and goes all the way and he hopes Faarooq goes all the way with him, because at Bad Blood. If The Rock and Faarooq do fight, then it's every man for himself, but Faarooq wants the Intercontinental Title. The Rock says that Faarooq has a point, but it's all about the Intercontinental Championship and The Rock wants it back around his waist. The Rock says that next week, he is going to kick Ahmed Johnson's ass at Madison Square Garden and send Ahmed back to the streets to where he came from like he did at Ground Zero.
The commentators talk about tonight's main event as Sgt. Slaughter has announced a non-title match between The British Bulldog and The Undertaker later tonight. Comments are from The British Bulldog backstage. Bulldog says that he's going to prove to The Undertaker that tonight the Deadman will fall down, but at One Night Only in his hometown, he is going to shut that punk Shawn Michaels up and he will retain the European Title in his hometown. If Shawn's friends have the cojones to show up and cost Bulldog the European Title then he will have no problem beating them all, but the first step tonight is that The Undertaker goes down and he will rest in peace.
(break)
Match 3: Tajiri and Jushin Thunder Liger vs Doug Furnas and Phillip Lafon During the match, The New Age Outlaws are on commentary getting a birds eye view of the match, Tajiri and Liger get some good offense in this match, but Furnas and Lafon are able to fight back in the match, however it's Tajiri and Liger that get the win with Tajiri hitting a superkick on Furnas to get the victory, After the Match. Liger and Tajiri begin to stare down The New Age Outlaws and they look at the Tag Team Titles and they want the belts. It seems like Sgt. Slaughter may book a match between the two teams at Bad Blood. Winners: Tajiri and Jushin Thunder Liger
(break)
Backstage on the Warzone, Dan Severn and Jim Cornette are talking with Cornette touting about Severn's success defeating Goldust last week and earning a bye and being in the final four. Cornette says that Severn is going to watch The Rock and Ahmed Johnson's match closely next week at Madison Square Garden. Cornette believes that Severn is going to go all the way and become the Intercontinental Champion at Bad Blood and Stone Cold Steve Austin will have no choice to give Severn the belt because if Austin doesn't. Severn will permanately cripple The Rattlesnake.
Shawn Michaels's music plays in the arena as he makes his way to ringside. Michaels is about to be interviewed by Jim Ross, Michaels does not have Chyna, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Rick Rude by his side. Lawler wonders what kind of reception Michaels will get next week at the World's Most Famous Arena. Ross talks about how many problems that he can handle, One Night Only, he will face The British Bulldog for the European Title. Michaels first says that he's done everything that there is to do in the World Wrestling Federation except for one thing and that's to be the European Champion. Michaels says that he is a triple-crown winner, but he wants to be the first man in WWF History to ever hold all 4 titles in the WWF. But October 5, 1997 as Ross says. Michaels will meet The Undertaker at Hell in A Cell and that it could be Michaels's last contest in the WWF. Michaels says that Desperate times call for the desperate measures, maybe he is a desperate man. But this is the way he sees it, the powers that be in the WWF, that's what they think is the cause of all this, how did it start when the World Wrestling Federation begged that he be a guest referee at Summerslam and he did one hell of a job at it and how did he get repaid, he got repaid by being stuck in a match with The Undertaker at Ground Zero, Michaels says that he wanted to deliver the match, but how did he get rewarded for that again, He got awarded by being stuck in a cell with the Devil itself. A Steel Cage with a top on it, there's one way in and there's one way out. First time ever, so who gets it, he does, why because he's the man and he can. Michaels says that Slaughter has thrown in another bone and that the winner will face the WWF Champion whether it's Bret Hart or Ken Shamrock at Survivor Series 1997. Michaels says that it's allright with him and now everybody thinks this is going to be the end of Shawn Michaels's WWF Career, but for arguments sake, that it's going to be the death for Shawn Michaels, but he's got news for everyone, he's told everybody twice and he'll say it a 10,000 times. If he goes down, he will bring everyone with him and he will go out in a blaze of glory. So at Hell in A Cell, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and everybody that's a part of the WWF is going to down to the depths of hell, then suddenly Undertaker's voice is heard on the titantron as he is in a cage. Taker says that he wants to welcome Shawn to his own personal hell, and what sights does he have to show Shawn. He can still taste the blood, but now they are put in a cage. There's no escape, no place to run. 2 Men enter, only The Undertaker leaves, there's no running for Shawn Michaels and no one can come help him, not even Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chyna and Rick Rude. The end is at hand and Shawn Michaels will pay the ultimate price, Taker says that Hell in A Cell, Bad Blood, call it what he wants, it will be his final resting place. And he's sure Shawn will be watching but as a matter of fact he might do Shawn a favor and soften up The British Bulldog before One Night Only. But either way, there is still unfinished business and they will be resolved at Bad Blood, so the only thing Shawn needs to do in the 20 days of earth is give his soul to the lord, call all of his friends because the execution is about to begin and Shawn Michaels will rest in peace. Taker's music plays as Shawn stares him down.
(break)
A clip is shown of a man doing karate kicks and wielding a kendo stick in hand with the vignette saying "The Lethal Weapon Steve Blackman" coming soon.
Match 4: First Round Intercontinental Title Quarterfinals Tournament Match Vader vs Brian Christopher This does not even last as long as Christopher starts this match by hitting some offense on Vader, but the former 2-time WWF Champion is not having any of it as he just destroys Christopher by doing it and hits the powerbomb on Christopher and follows it up with the Vaderbomb to get the victory. And Vader has advanced, but who will he face next week at Madison Square Garden, Faarooq or Flash Funk?. Winner: Vader
Backstage, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chyna are on the backstage side of the Warzone. Helmsley says that he has a problem with Mick Foley or better yet known as Mankind or Dude Love, Last Week. Dude Love cost him his chance to become the first ever four-time WWF Intercontinental Champion. But he doesn't want to go to Madison Square Garden without a match, he wants Dude Love or Mankind or Mick Foley to grow a set of balls if he has it because next week he wants Dude Love in a New York Street Fight Match so that he can end Mick Foley, Mankind and Dude Love for good.
(break)
Backstage, we see Stone Cold Steve Austin in his locker room, his interview with Jerry Lawler will be up next after the next match.
Match 5: First Round Intercontinental Title Tournament Match Faarooq w/The N.O.D. vs Flash Funk This is the final first round as Faarooq and Flash Funk will face off to determine who the 7 men will be, Flash gets in some offense against Faarooq and tries to go straight for him but Faarooq battles back and just wears down Funk. Funk however does a comeback and goes to hit the 450 splash but Faarooq rolls out of the way and hits Funk with the dominator to get the victory and the final 7 have now advanced, it is Severn, The Rock, Ahmed, Faarooq, Owen, Terry Funk and Vader. Faarooq and Vader will face off at Madison Square Garden and what a war that's going to be. Winner: Faarooq
(break)
Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way to the ring with Jerry Lawler waiting for him. Lawler says that there is obviously one Stone Cold in the WWF and the way the WWF has been treating him lately is the way he saw Stone Cold deliver the stunner to big fat J.R. over there, no one deserved it more than him. But then this is what he did to Sgt. Slaughter, that was beautiful. The only thing that he's waiting for is when he almost stunned Vince McMahon. He deserves it but right now, he's got some words he wants to say to Owen Hart. Austin says that J.R. happened to be at the wrong place and the wrong time, he sits there with his cowboy hat, he won't do it again, but as for Slaughter saying that's an order, he can't stop him. Austin says that Vince McMahon is an arrogant piece of trash but says that Owen Hart's got hell to pay, he could've taken Owen right out last week like he did at Ground Zero. But he will get Owen Hart and the rest of the Hart Foundation as far as he's concerned. Then suddenly The Hart Foundation come to the ring with Bret saying that the WWF can't put a stop to what Austin is trying to pull, but they've had enough with him having a weapon in their hands, but they are going to put a stop to it. Then suddenly a lawyer comes in with Owen saying that they used the American Justice System to their advantage and that there's a temporary restraining order and that means that Austin can't touch Owen, 100 feet restraining order. Lawler says that Austin can't come within 100 feet of Owen Hart. Lawler tries making fun of Austin but Austin punches him in the face and hits him with the Stunner and also hits the Lawyer with the Stunner as well. The King and the Lawyer are down. Austin grabs the microphone and says that at the end of the night he is going to get his hands on Owen Hart and that's the bottom line.
In a dark red room backstage, Paul Bearer is speaking saying that everyone saw Kane's power tonight and they will see it again and again and again until Bad Blood. Bearer says that Kane will not be attending the World's Most Famous Arena, but he sure hopes The Undertaker is watching cause in time, The Undertaker can do what he will do to Shawn Michaels at Hell in A Cell, but in time, Paul Bearer will do what he will do at Bad Blood whether The Undertaker likes it or not.
(break)
Match 6: Non-Title Match The Undertaker vs British Bulldog Before the match begins, Shawn Michaels, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Rick Rude and Chyna make their way to the ring with folding chairs watching the match as they see Bulldog and Undertaker go blow for blow with each other as they start to exchange blows with Undertaker gaining the upper hand. Michael Cole has now replaced Jerry "The King" Lawler for this match. Undertaker attempts to do the ropewalk on Bulldog but Bulldog armdrags him to the mat and sends Undertaker over the top rope with a clothesline but Undertaker lands on his feet and pulls The Bulldog out of the ring with Undertaker gaining the advantage outside. Taker then tosses the European Champion into the steel steps and grabs him to the ring where he hits the ring apron leg drop but not before staring down Shawn Michaels and pointing at him. Bulldog eventually fights back by reversing a whip and hitting a powerslam but Undertaker easily kicks out at two. Bulldog begins to wear down Undertaker but Undertaker fights back by hitting a back suplex after countering a sleeper hold and The Deadman makes his usual comeback and sends Bulldog into the buckle by hitting a clothesline in the corner and follows it up with snake eyes. Taker whips Bulldog into the ropes and goes for a boot but Bulldog misses and goes for the running powerslam but Taker gets out of it and hits a bodyslam taking Bulldog to the mat and Undertaker runs off the ropes and hits a leg drop on Bulldog but Bulldog kicks out at 2. Taker then gives Bulldog a uppercut and whips him into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Undertaker puts his head down and Bulldog hits the vertical suplex on The Deadman, Bulldog gets ready to go for the cover but Undertaker grabs Bulldog by the throat and Bulldog is in trouble. Taker then rises while having Bulldog by the throat and Taker knees him in the gut and whips him into the ropes but Bulldog reverses it and Bulldog goes for a clothesline but Undertaker has him by the neck and chokeslams him to the mat. The Deadman then signals for the end, but wait a minute here come the rest of the Hart Foundation they came through the crowd and they start to swarm on The Undertaker. Winner By DQ: The Undertaker
It's at that moment that Shawn Michaels gets in the ring and goes right after Bret, Shawn and Bret have not forgotten about each other, the two exchange blows right in the center of the ring while Undertaker is busy trying to fight off the Hart Foundation. Taker eventually chokeslams Neidhart to the mat and brawls with Helmsley as well. Then suddenly Ken Shamrock makes his way down with Vader and here's Dude Love and he wants to go right for Hunter Hearst Helmsley. The fight eventually spills to the outside with Taker fending off Shawn and Bret and Shamrock fighting on the entryway. Bulldog and Vader have disappeared out of sight, Dude and Helmsley are still fighting on the other side of the ring, but suddenly from under the ring. Stone Cold Steve Austin appears and Owen is still in the ring. Owen turns around and begins to scream. Austin has broken the restraining order. Austin tries to go for Owen but Helmsley gets in the ring and begins to attack Austin. Helmsley whips Austin into the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Austin ducks and hits a lou thesz press on Helmsley and follows it up with the Stone Cold Stunner, Austin has raised hell tonight, cops then begin to get in the ring but Austin escapes through the crowd, what chaos next week will we see at Madison Square Garden in the World's Famous Arena, as RAW returns to Madison Square Garden for the first time since January of 1996. Austin stares down the cops as RAW goes off the air.

And he wanted to join the gang, be his guest. Piper then confronted Hogan saying that they need to have one more match, one more time, at Halloween Havoc, they would fight one last time in a Steel Cage Match. WRESTLING NEWS - September 21, 1997
JARRETT LET GO FROM WCW? - Last Monday Nitro, it appeared that Eric Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett had a fallout, the fallout stated that Jarrett and Bischoff got into a heated argument with Jarrett slamming the door and grabbing his bags to Bischoff's office saying that it's going to be his final night in WCW. Without any confrontation, the storyline was planned with the nWo destroying Jarrett and spraypainting "WWF" on his back. Jarrett was released by Fedex on Wednesday Afternoon, on Thursday Afternoon, Jarrett talked to Vince McMahon and it looks like Jarrett will head back to the World Wrestling Federation once again where he was the Intercontinental Champion one time when he beat Razor Ramon on March 20, 1994 at WrestleMania 10. Jarrett's career went nowhere after winning the Intercontinental Title. It looks like Jarrett may try his luck with the WWF again as he was released from the WWF in January of 1996 and went to WCW. Vince promised that Jarrett will be used properly.
VINCE MCMAHON WANTS BRET HART TO GO TO WCW? - It seems like Vince wants 4-time World Wrestling Federation Champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart to go to WCW. There are rumours reported that Bret Hart is reluctanly about to leave the WWF to head to WCW. And it does appear that Bret Hart wants to wrestle his final WWF Match at Montreal on November 9, 1997 at Survivor Series, it is much speculation that Bret will most likely face Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship and probably end his career in the WWF.
TED DIBIASE TO APPEAR ON RAW? - Reports are stating that the Undertaker Storyline of setting his parents on Fire will have this time "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase to make a one-time appearance to confront The Undertaker on RAW at Madison Square Garden. This will be the first time in 16 months that Ted Dibiase has appeared on RAW. It will end up with Dibiase possibly being taken out by The Undertaker. But it's most likely going to be a one time appearance for Dibiase.
PUBLIC ENEMY IN WCW - After leaving the WWF, The Public Enemy (Rock and Rocco) are now in WCW. After a moderate 1995 by winning the Tag Team Championship in the WWF an also joining Faarooq's Nation of Domination in 1996. Public Enemy's 1997 WWF Status never went nowhere and they were forced to leave in August, but they have now debuted in WCW and are looking to cause a lot more destruction like they did in the WWF.
ANOTHER MICK FOLEY FACE TO SHOW UP SOONER - It does appear that WWF Officials do want to have Mick Foley have a third character, Foley has talked about how he wants to debut Cactus Jack in the WWF and it looks like we may see another Mick Foley Face in the WWF sometime sooner than later.
ANOTHER MATCH SIGNED FOR BAD BLOOD - Last Night at One Night Only, The British Bulldog retained his WWF European Championship against Shawn Michaels, but it looks like The British Bulldog will have to defend the European Title at Bad Blood against HBK's lackey Hunter Hearst Helmsley, the match was booked by WWF officials last night.

WWF RAW IS WAR - September 22. 1997
Clips are shown to kick off RAW with images of old memories in Madison Square Garden, but tonight for the first time since January of 1996. Monday Night RAW returns to the Mecca Arena in Madison Square Garden, also clips are shown of Bret Hart costing Shawn Michaels the European Title and there are rumours around of Shawn calling out Bret Hart for a fight, will Bret accept?. And also, the Intercontinental Title Quarterfinals have begun, it will be The Rock vs Ahmed Johnson, Vader vs Faarooq and Owen Hart vs Terry Funk. And also The Rattlesnake will be at The Garden. But who will he strike tonight?.
Vince McMahon, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross are your hosts for the second ever RAW in Madison Square Garden. Lawler announces that tonight he's got word from Paul Bearer that The Undertaker will meet a guest from the past as he will be interviewed by McMahon as well.
Match 1: WWF Intercontinental Championship Quarterfinals Match The Rock w/The Nation vs Ahmed Johnson The winner of this match will face Dan Severn in the semifinals, Severn has already regained a bye after the Dude Love/Helmsley match two weeks ago. Ahmed wants his revenge against The Rock for defeating him at Ground Zero. Ahmed wastes no time going right for The Rock, but a distraction by The Nation allows The Rock to gain the upper hand, backstage, the cameras catch Dan Severn and Jim Cornette watching the match. Ahmed somehow makes a comeback in this match and almost gets the match won with a spinebuster and Ahmed also sets up for the Pearl River Plunge but the referee is distracted by Faarooq and The Rock hits a Low Blow on Ahmed and follows it up with the Rock Bottom to get the victory. The Rock is now in the semi-finals for the Intercontinental Title Tournament and will face Dan "The Beast" Severn next week. Winner: The Rock Backstage, The commentators catch up with Severn and Cornette. Cornette says that last week he made a threat to Stone Cold Steve Austin that if Austin didn't hand over the belt to Severn, then Severn would permanately cripple him, and that starts with The Rock. It started with Goldust, and it's going to continue with The Rock, until it's either Owen Hart, Vader, Faarooq or that goof Terry Funk. Cornette warns Austin that Severn better give him the Intercontinental Championship at Bad Blood because if Austin physically provokes him, Severn would dismantle that neck and send Austin in a wheelchair forever.
Speaking of Stone Cold Steve Austin, his music plays in the arena but he doesn't come out on the entryway. He is next to the crowd, Austin promises tonight that at Madison Square Garden, somebody's going to get their ass whooped and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so. (break) Clips are shown of One Night Only in where chaos ensued in the European Championship Match between The British Bulldog and Shawn Michaels with Helmsley attempting to help Shawn out, but Bret Hart would make the save and cost Shawn Michaels the European Championship, and tonight, Shawn plans to call out Bret Hart not for a confrontation, not for a match, but for a fight. Will we see that happen tonight?.
The lights go out in the arena as The Undertaker's music hits in the arena. And listen to the New York fans on their feet for perhaps the Greatest WWF Superstar in the 90s era. The Undertaker, The commentators bring up Undertaker's success at Madison Square Garden, he wrestled in the first ever Buried Alive Match against Unabomb, and also in the bodybag match with The Ultimate Warrior, and also his war last year at Survivor Series against Mankind. McMahon talks to Undertaker about the Hell in A Cell Match and that the winner would face Bret Hart or Ken Shamrock at the 1997 Survivor Series. Taker says that at Summerslam, he lost the WWF Title to Bret Hart because of one man, Shawn Michaels, and although there was a lot that distracted him at the time with Paul Bearer claiming to him that Kane was alive. Shawn cost The Undertaker what was his. Because there's nothing better that he would like at Survivor Series is to become WWF Champion whether it's Bret Hart or Ken Shamrock. But before he becomes the 4-time World Wrestling Federation Champion. Shawn Michaels has his date with destiny. At Bad Blood, in the Hell in A Cell Match. There's only one way out and that's over The Undertaker's dead body. Taker says that until that happens. He can never rest in peace, But he can damn sure enjoy Shawn Michaels go down and suffocate on his own blood. Then suddenly familiar music is played in the arena. Ross and Lawler mention that music, it's the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase!. Was this the surprise Paul Bearer was talking about?. Dibiase gets in the ring and tells McMahon to stay out of this. Dibiase says that on November 22, 1990 he brought The Undertaker to the World Wrestling Federation. And look at where The Undertaker is now, he beat Dusty Rhodes, Jimmy Snuka, Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Kamala, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Lex Luger, himself included, Vader, Mankind, Sycho Sid, Faarooq, he's beaten all of them. And hell, he's a three-time WWF Champion himself. But he cannot believe what he heard last June when Paul Bearer accused him of setting the fire, Bearer was right about The Undertaker, That's why he and Brother Love came up with the plan that November 1990 night to bring him to the World Wrestling Federation and then Paul would follow, Dibiase says that Paul told Dibiase that he would not reveal The Undertaker's secret until the time was right. But Paul saw The Undertaker going soft and that's why he stabbed him in the back at Summerslam last year. Dibiase says that he's ashamed that The Undertaker would do something like this to his own family as a child. Why would he do this?. Dibiase says that two years ago when he feuded with The Undertaker. Dibiase could have revealed the secret, but what did The Undertaker do, The Undertaker sealed him in an air-tight casket. Sending him away to the Darkness never to be heard again, but the reason why he could have done it is because he looked at Paul Bearer's pages when Paul Bearer managed The Undertaker, Dibiase snuck in the locker room with Paul Bearer while The Undertaker was all showered up after finishing up a match, Paul would tell him about the devastating secret that night six years ago, that's why the secret would come out sooner. Dibiase says that he cannot believe after all those years, The Undertaker would not only terrorize the WWF. But terrorize his own family, he's an arsonist. And he should've gone to jail that night when that secret came out. Then what would The Undertaker have done?. Dig holes for prisoners who were about to face execution?. Or just stay locked in a cage forever?. Because that's what The Undertaker should've done when that secret came out, Dibiase says that Undertaker wasn't here for money, wasn't here for Paul Bearer, wasn't here for Brother Love, nor Ted Dibiase. He was here for himself. Taker gets furious that he has enough and hits Dibiase with a right hand. Taker then picks him up and chokeslams him to the mat. Paul Bearer's plan has backfired, but suddenly Paul Bearer appears on the video wall and says that beating up Ted Dibiase will not change the fact that Kane will be at Bad Blood, because he may be concerned about Shawn Michaels and the World Wrestling Federation Championship, what he should be concerned is Kane. Because everything Dibiase said was true, because Dibiase met Kane a few years ago. And Kane told him that his brother was an arsonist and that's why he wanted nothing more to see Dibiase eliminate The Undertaker from the WWF all those years ago, but it just didn't work?. Bearer says that at Bad Blood, Undertaker can beat up Shawn Michaels in Hell in A Cell all he wants, but after that is over. Kane will be waiting in the wings to send Undertaker straight to hell. Taker then picks up the microphone and calls Bearer a god damn liar. The GD word is caught on the USA Network. Taker says that he knows that Paul Bearer is lying through his teeth, he won't bring Kane at Bad Blood. As Taker continues to talk. Shawn Michaels sneaks in the ring and hits The Phenom with Sweet Chin Music. Michaels runs out of the ring and just as Michaels begins to leave, Undertaker sits up, not caring for the fallen Dibiase. He walks to the back looking for Shawn. (break) A clip is shown moments ago of Ted Dibiase's return confronting The Undertaker about his brother Kane only to get attacked and then Paul Bearer confronting The Undertaker as well leading to Shawn Michaels hitting Undertaker with Sweet Chin Music.
Backstage, The commentators catch up with Shawn Michaels about his surprise attack on The Undertaker. Michaels says that everything Paul Bearer and Ted Dibiase have said about The Undertaker is true, Undertaker is an arsonist and for those watching, Shawn would never set his brother, mother or father on fire if it meant getting his way, but Undertaker will pay for the ultimate consequences at Bad Blood, and as far as Bret Hart goes. Tonight, he wants Bret Hart to put up a set and face him in the ring, no disqualifactions, no countouts, no ref, no confrontations, no security, no Sgt. Slaughter, just him and Bret in the ring. Then Shawn turns around to see The Undertaker stalking towards him with Taker trying to get at Shawn but then Helmsley comes from behind and attacks Undertaker. Undertaker then gives Helmsley an uppercut and throws Helmsley into the anvil cases, but Shawn surprises Undertaker with a steel chair to the back and that takes the Phenom down. Helmsley and Shawn get out of dodge while The Undertaker gets to his feet and he is furious. Match 2: Intercontinental Title Quarter-Finals Match Vader vs Faarooq w/The Nation of Domination It could be an all night for the Nation of Domination if Faarooq advances. And this should be one hell of a fight between Faarooq and Vader, two big bulls in the WWF. Vader, a former 2-time WWF Champion, and Faarooq a former football star. Faarooq gets the advantage by attacking Vader before the bell rings but Vader fights back and hits a body blow on Faarooq. And remember the winner of that match will face the winner of Terry Funk or Owen Hart next week. Will Vader advance to the final four. Vader continues to gain the momentum but Faarooq fights back and hits a shoulder tackle off the top rope but Vader kicks out at 2. Faarooq then continues to dominate the match and even takes Vader off his feet with a clothesline but Vader comes back in the match, The Nation try to interefere but Vader fights them off one by one the referee doesn't even disqualify the Nation because Vader struck first. Vader tosses Kama over the top rope and does the same thing to D' Lo. But wait there's The Rock. The Rock attempts to hit Vader with a clothesline, but Vader ducks and Rock hits Faarooq by accident. Vader grabs The Rock and drills him with a running powerslam. Vader then sees the downed Faarooq and hits him with the Vaderbomb to get the victory, and Vader has advanced to the semi-finals. What a win for the Mastadon. Winner: Vader
Backstage, Bret Hart is seen as he is talking to the Hart Foundation saying that tonight Shawn called him out for a fight and that is what he's going to get. Then suddenly, Sgt. Slaughter appears in the locker room, Slaughter says that he can't stop Bret and Shawn from fighting, but the thing is. He can't allow a one on one match between the two, and if they want no referee, then understandable. Bret and Shawn asked for this fight, he's letting the two of them go. Bret says that Shawn may not make it to Bad Blood, Slaughter then changes the subject and says that who's to say Bret not make it to Bad Blood in his match with Ken Shamrock. (break) Match 3: WWF Intercontinental Championship Quarterfinals Match Owen Hart vs Terry Funk This is the final quarterfinals match, and the winner of this match will face Vader next week one on one. Funk shows his toughness against the former Intercontinental Champion, but Owen fights back. The commentators mention that this is Funk's first match at Madison Square Garden. Funk fights back and almost puts Owen away with a cross body but Owen is able to kick out at 2. Owen fights back and hits a German Suplex on Funk but Funk kicks out at 2 and what a back and forth battle we have seen between the two. Funk hits Owen with a clothesline and follows it up with a Bodyslam but can he go for the moonsault. Funk attempts it but Owen gets the knees up and hits Funk with the enziguri and follows it up with the sharpshooter and Terry is tapping out to the Sharpshooter. The Quarterfinals are over and Owen will face Vader next week while The Rock faces Dan Severn. Winner: Owen Hart After the match, Owen gets on the microphone and begins to gloat on his victory, but Stone Cold Steve Austin appears from the ring and begins to attack Owen, Austin has been obsessed for revenge since Summerslam. The Police Officers come out to try to arrest Austin, but suddenly Vince McMahon enters the ring and tells the officers to hang on cause he wants to talk to Austin. McMahon asks Austin what is the matter with him, and that he needs to get a hold of himself. McMahon tells the cops to give him a minute and tells Austin that what is the matter with him. Austin had to forfeit the Intercontinental and Tag Team Championship, and everybody understands why he's upset. Austin mouths off "Damn Right". McMahon tells Austin that Austin's upset about not competing. But he wants Austin not to break the law. Austin then points at the cops, McMahon says that why Austin cannot compete is because he's not physically able to wrestle, his doctors say he ain't ready. These people do not want him to wind up in a wheelchair, they want to see Austin compete. Everyone wants to see Austin compete, but in due time. McMahon says that the people in the WWF care for Austin and that Austin has to go with him, in other words, work within the system. That's all Austin has to do. Austin takes the mic from McMahon and says that this is what he does for a living and that he's the best in the damn world. Austin tells Vince not to say nothing, sit here to work within the system. He ain't the one in the house like he is. But if that is what it takes to make Vince and the World Wrestling Federation happy. He'll be Cool Hand Luke and Work within the system. Vince begins to speak, but Austin takes back the mic and says that while he appreciates the fact that Vince and the WWF cares, he also appreciates the fact that hell, YOU CAN KISS HIS ASS!. Austin then kicks McMahon in the gut!. STUNNER! STUNNER! AUSTIN HAS STUNNED THE BOSS! AUSTIN HAS STUNNED MCMAHON! MCMAHON HAS JUST BEEN STUNNED!. The Officials, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson and others enter the ring to check on McMahon while the officers arrest Austin, but what a scene in the WWF. VINCE MCMAHON HAS BEEN STONE COLD STUNNED by the Rattlesnake. The fans have gone nuts for what Austin has done, and Austin is going straight to jail. Austin has really done it this time. Austin then turns over on the downed Vince and motions for Vince to kiss his ass while handcuffed. The commentators believe that Austin will be fired. But Austin doesn't give a damn if he's employed or not. (break) A clip is shown of what happened just moments ago with Austin stunning McMahon and it looks like McMahon will not be doing commentary as he's being directed to the New York Hospital, meanwhile backstage, Stone Cold is being loaded up in the cop car and suddenly Owen Hart and The Hart Foundation come out to scream at Austin. Owen says that he hopes Austin watches Bad Blood when Owen is awarded the Intercontinental Championship on his own, he doesn't need Austin to award it to him.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley is in the ring awaiting the presence for Dude Love in the Falls Count Anywhere Match, Dude Love's music then hits as Helmsley has a chain that was given to him by Chyna. Then on the titantron we see Dude Love backstage saying that he knows what Helmsley and Chyna are thinking. What is Dude doing back here when he should be out there kicking some heavy duty booty all over The Garden?. He believes it's time that he had a little rap cause Falls Count Anywhere is not in his bag baby, The pinfalls in the hot dog stand, in the streets, It's not alove thing, but he knows somebody, he's the main man Mankind. A Kind man. Dude and Mankind then high five with each other. Mankind says that Dude is really eye candy for the chicks. Mankind says as much as he's dreamed about destroying Hunter Hearst Helmsley, as many things he would love to do to him. He knows somebody who dreams about it more. Dude asks who it is and if Mankind's thinking what Dude's thinking. Mankind says that he is thinking and Dude asks to bring him out. Mankind says that Cactus Jack is back, we see Jack with a trashcan in hand and says that this is the darkest day of Helmsley's life. Because it's Madison Square Garden, and Ms. Foley's baby boy is home, bang bang.
Match 4: Falls Count Anywhere Match Cactus Jack vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Chyna What a crazy RAW this has been, we have saw Austin stun McMahon, but now we have the debut of Cactus Jack. Jack hits Helmsley with a trashcan as Helmsley comes charging at him. And hits him again with the trashcan and tosses him straight into the steel steps, the fans begin to chant "ECW" with Lawler hating the chant. Jack continues to go to work on Helmsley and hits a neckbreaker on the exposed floor. Cactus goes for the cover but Helmsley kicks out at 2. Cactus then tosses Helmsley in the ring and kicks him in the ribs and in the head. Cactus then gives Helmsley a headbutt and sends Helmsley and himself over the top rope with a clothesline, this is the third face of Mick Foley. Helmsley tries to make a run for it, but Chyna surprises Jack with a clothesline knocking him down. And there is nothing the ref can do and Chyna also hits another clothesline taking Cactus over the railing right into the fans. Helmsley and Jack fight all the way to the crowd and this is definitely a New York Fight. Helmsley and Jack fight all the way backstage with Helmsley bodyslamming Jack on the floor, but Jack kicks out at 2 again. Helmsley gets back in the crowd, but there's Cactus with a fire extinguisher to the face of Helmsley and Cactus rams Helmsley into the security railing and all hell is breaking loose in the Garden. Cactus then tosses Helmsley back in the ring and how is Helmsley going to be the same at Bad Blood when he challenges The British Bulldog for the European Title. Cactus tosses Helmsley out of the ring and Cactus hits him again with the trashcan. Cactus then heads to the top rope on the outside, what is he going to do?. Cactus goes for an elbow drop but Helmsley rolls out of the way and Cactus hits the trashcan. Chyna then grabs Cactus and tosses him into the steel steps. Helmsley continues to gain the momentum on Cactus by grabbing more weapons and hitting Cactus with it but everything he does cannot keep Cactus down. Helmsley then picks up a broom in the ring and hits Cactus with it. And Helmsley has been dominant in this match, he's been on an aggressive streak since joining Shawn Michaels. Helmsley then sends Cactus back to the outside and there's Chyna again. She tosses Cactus back in but there's Helmsley with that steel chair and Helmsley brings Cactus in the ring and hits him in the ribs with the chair. Helmsley then tosses Cactus from the apron and sends Cactus sternum first into the ringpost. And Cactus makes a comeback by hitting a low blow and follows it up with a sunset flip but Helmsley is able to kick out again at 2. Helmsley then shoves Cactus in the guardrail and Helmsley comes charging only to meet a back body drop by Cactus on the railing and Chyna has a chair and she hits Cactus with it and Chyna snatches the chair away from Jack and Helmsley tosses Jack straight into the steel steps who in turn hits Chyna. All 3 are down. Chyna seems to be out. Meanwhile Cactus and Helmsley are still continuing their fight. Helmsley hits a suplex on the steel entryway on Cactus. Chyna is out, and Helmsley pins Cactus but Cactus is able to kick out and what a match this has been between the two. Helmsley goes out of the entryway and hits Cactus with another trashcan in the head and goes for the cover again but Cactus once again kicks out at 2. Helmsley then hits Cactus with a Snow Shovel and Helmsley and Cactus have suddenly disappeared but they reappear with Helmsley pulling Cactus's hair off the steel and Helmsley has a table. It could be Table time. Helmsley is looking to pedigree Jack through the table, but Jack hits a low blow and nails a piledriver on Helmsley. Jack goes for the cover and he wins over Helmsley. Cactus has beaten Helmsley. Chyna tried to get there in time, but she collapsed, and what a victory for Ms. Foley's Baby Boy in Cactus's first match. But we need an ambulance for both Helmsley and Jack and it looks like a car wreck between the two. Winner: Cactus Jack
(break)
Moments ago, The crowd is still buzzing over the debut of Cactus Jack, they talk about how it was the best RAW match in WWF History between Jack and Helmsley.
Match 5: Ken Shamrock vs Brian Christopher In just 13 days, Ken Shamrock could become the next WWF Champion and if he does, then he will have to put the title on the line at the 1997 Survivor Series against The Undertaker or Shawn Michaels inside Hell in A Cell. Shamrock wastes no time going right for Christopher, Christopher has a little bit of an advantage and almost knocks off Shamrock by hitting a brainbuster but Shamrock kicks out at two. Christopher heads to the top rope but Shamrock catches him with a belly to belly suplex and finishes it off with the anklelock to get the victory. Winner: Ken Shamrock
After the match, Michael Cole gets in the ring to talk to Shamrock about the "I Quit Match" with Bret Hart at Bad Blood for the WWF Championship. Shamrock states that at WrestleMania 13, he refereed an I Quit Match between Bret and Steve. He saw what Bret had done to Austin in where Austin lost a lot of blood, but if Bret thinks that he's going to make Shamrock bleed, well he's not. The only rule is that between Bret's sharpshooter. He has the anklelock, and Bret experienced it first hand at the 1997 King of The Ring. Shamrock says either way that belt is going to come to him, and there is no way Shamrock is going to say the words "I Quit". Shamrock also says that after it's over between him and Bret, he wants Shawn Michaels or The Undertaker to know that he backs down from nobody. He will become the WWF Champion at Bad Blood, and when Survivor Series begins and ends. Shamrock will have the WWF Title around his waist.
A split screen is shown of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels walking in separate stages. It looks like the fight between Shawn and Bret is up next, as both men are dressed in street clothes and are taped up.
(break)
Shawn Michaels's music hits in the arena as he makes his way to the ring with a steel chair in hand. Shawn has a microphone as well and says that at One Night Only. He was close to embarrassing The British Bulldog, he was close from taking the European Championship from him. But Bret Hart like a thief in the night helped his brother-in-law beat him fair and square. Well it wasn't Fair and Square it was because the Canadians and the United Kingdom have a lot in common, they cheat to win. Michaels says that before he beats The Undertaker so bad at Bad Blood and humiliates him infront of the world, he wants Bret Hart right here and now, as Shawn is talking, the same red light we saw a few weeks ago hits the ring, but it disappears. The commentators wonder if this is the work of Kane. Bret's music then plays in the arena as he makes his way to the ring, Shawn wastes no time after hearing Bret's music and it looks like we are going to see a fight right here. Bret and Shawn exchange blows on the entryway and this is not going to be a matchup, this is going to be a brawl. Shawn gets the upper hand and attempts to take Bret into the steel steps but Bret reverses it and throws Shawn into the steel steps. Bret then picks Shawn up and hits a hard right hand. Bret then takes Shawn into the guardrail and goes for a move but Shawn elbows him in the face and has the steel chair he used but Bret punches him in the gut and throws him in the ring. Bret then takes off his leather belt and begins to whip the hide of Shawn in which the fans love. Bret picks Shawn up and hits the backbreaker on Shawn. Bret then punches away at Shawn and this has been all Bret in this confrontation. Bret picks Shawn up but Shawn hits a low blow on Bret and runs off the ropes and nails a flying forearm followed by his signature nip-up. Shawn picks up the chair he used and hits Bret in the back with it. And this has been an epic confrontation thus far. Shawn then picks Bret up and rips the shirt off of Bret and chokes him with it, but Bret fights out of it and Shawn goes for a clothesline but Bret ducks and Bret kicks Shawn in the gut and hits a Russian Leg Sweep. The commentators announce that this could be the scene at the 1997 Survivor Series. Shawn fights back though with a poke to the eye and punches Bret in the face and Bret and Shawn are exchanging punches. Bret whips Shawn into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Shawn nails him with a neckbreaker. Shawn then picks up a steel chain from his pants and Shawn picks Bret up and goes to hit him with it but Bret ducks and the chain goes out of Shawn's hands. Bret then sends Michaels over the top rope with a clothesline. Bret then runs off the ropes and hits a torpedo knocking down Shawn and Bret is on his feet. Bret has been wanting for this moment all of his life. Bret exposes the concrete and it looks like he wants to plant Michaels with something here. Bret then picks him up and goes for the piledriver but Helmsley, Chyna and Rude are here. Helmsley and Chyna have attacked Bret. Michaels and Helmsley then toss Bret in the ring. They both whip Bret into the ropes and go for a move, but Bret grabs them and hits a Double DDT and Bret seems to have the upper hand, but Chyna plants Bret with a clothesline to the back and look at the gang attack. It's four on one, but here comes The British Bulldog and Owen Hart with Jim Neidhart to even the odds, it's 4 on 3 now. Rude, Helmsley and Michaels desperately are trying to fight off the Hart Foundation, and here comes Ken Shamrock. Bret and Shamrock begin to exchange blows with Shamrock taking Bret down. Shamrock attempts the anklelock but Bret fights out of it and the brawl is still going on, but here comes The Undertaker. The Undertaker enters the ring and first tosses Chyna over the top rope to the floor. Then gives Rude a boot to the face and hits Neidhart with an uppercut and hits a chokeslam on Owen and sends Shamrock over the top rope with a clothesline. Bulldog tries his hand but Undertaker headbutts him and Helmsley tries his best but he gets a right hand for his efforts. Bret and Shawn are still fighting but The Undertaker's right there behind them and he hits a double chokeslam on them both. Taker then picks up the WWF Title and raises it up, that might be his if he defeats Shawn Michaels at Bad Blood and moves on to face Bret Hart or Ken Shamrock at the 1997 Survivor Series, RAW goes off the air with Taker rolling his eyes.

WCW MONDAY NITRO QUICK RESULTS (9/22/97) Eddie Guerrero D. Chris Jericho at 15:49 to retain the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, after the match. Rey Mysterio came out and celebrated with Eddie but Eddie then attacked him and powerbombed him to the mat turning him into a heel in the process. Goldberg D. The Nasty Boys at 4:41 in a Tag Team Match. Lex Luger D. Scott Norton at 5:29 with the Torture Rack. Featured a comment with the nWo saying that Hennig didn't join the nWo for the money, he joined the nWo because he was in the same organization that Hogan, Hall and Nash were in and that WCW's loss was the NWO's gain and that's why he betrayed the Four Horsemen at Fall Brawl and he also slammed that cage door in Ric Flair's head cause Flair had it coming for a long time the way Flair disrespected Hennig and the way that Flair treated Hennig like a chaffeur when Flair won the WWF Title twice in 1992. Bischoff then said that next week they would hold a funeral for the career of Ric Flair and that he hoped that Flair was watching in North Carolina in his hospital bed. Then Hogan commented saying that Roddy Piper would be the next to join Flair in the hospital bed with him together and that Piper and Flair would sit in the old folks home while the nWo ruled WCW. Raven D. Renegade at 2:30 with the Raven Effect. After the match, Diamond Dallas Page came out and said that Raven burned his face, he wanted to burn Raven at Halloween Havoc and take the WCW United States Title away from him. Ray Traylor D. Konnan by DQ at 2:15 when the rest of the New World Order came out to attack Traylor. Hogan delivered not one, not two, but three legdrops to Traylor and sent a message to Sting by applying the scorpion deathlock on Traylor. The Steiner Brothers, The Giant, Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Benoit came out to make the save to help Traylor. The Giant grabbed a microphone and demanded a 10-Man Tag Team Match with the rest of the NWO now. Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Syxx, Buff Bagwell and Curt Hennig D. The Steiner Brothers, The Giant, Chris Benoit and Diamond Dallas Page at 14:28 in a 10-Man Tag Team Match when Hennig hit Benoit with the Perfectplex. After the match, The NWO began to celebrate, but then the lights went out and static appeared on the titantron with Sting showing up and staring down the rest of the nWo with Sting keeping his eyes on Hogan. Hogan got out of the ring and began to confront Sting, but then the lights went out again and when they returned Hogan was fighting with Sting, but with his jacket. Sting was nowhere to be found. But then a crow appeared from under the ring scaring the rest of the nWo off.

2 Pre-Show Matches: Dude Love vs Brian Christopher The Legion of Doom and Terry Funk vs The Nation of Domination (Faarooq, Kama and D' Lo Brown) I think Shawn/Taker is going to be repeat of our timeline. I see Rock taking down Owen Hart, and rolling deep into The Rock gimmick. Bret's beating Shamrock, but I am more impressed personally by that choice. Having a actual proper and good angle going into this event for the WWF title speaks volumes. I think Hunter and one point or another is going to punk Davey Boy. Maybe not now, but eventually. We'll see if Bad Blood is the night.

Yeah, I see Shawn and Taker being much like it was in reality. As for everything else, I know you've been building up Shamrock for a while and I'd be surprised to see him quit, but also I'd be surprised to not see a Shawn/Bret route in Montreal, so I'm not sure who is going to pull that one out. I think Rock is likely to beat Owen, Severn over Vader, HHH with the win to go with Shawn, as well as New Age Outlaws, Ahmed Johnson and Goldust.

Note: I was close to finishing off Michaels vs Undertaker, But I made mistakes while writing it, so i'm going to do the quick results. But i'm writing Michaels vs Undertaker in full. I am going to salvage this match by writing this match, it was my fault. But here's the winners of the match. Sorry about it guys, hope you guys forgive me.
Bad Blood Results before the Main Event: Dude Love D. Brian Christopher The Nation of Domination D. Terry Funk and The Legion of Doom in a 6-Man Tag Team Match Hunter Hearst Helmsley D. British Bulldog to win the WWF European Championship with help from Rick Rude and Chyna. Kurrgan D. Ahmed Johnson The New Age Outlaws D. Tajiri and Jushin Thunder Liger to retain the WWF Tag Team Titles. Goldust D. Sycho Sid, after the match. Goldust got Marlena back with Marlena distracting Sycho Sid by taking her top off. Owen Hart D. The Rock to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship in the finals with help from Stone Cold Steve Austin, before the match started, Jeff Jarrett appeared and cut a shoot promo on WCW and the WWF saying that the "With My Baby Tonight" gimmick was nomore. Also, before the match, Jim Ross introduced the St. Louis Wrestling Legends, Harley Race, The Funk Family, Lou Thesz, Sam Muchnick, Jack Brisco and Gene Kiniski. Vader and Dan Severn fought to a double countout. Bret Hart D. Ken Shamrock to retain the WWF Championship in an "I Quit Match" which was well done, despite intereference from Jeff Jarrett hitting both men with a steel chair, both men were busted open. Note 2: And now I get to salvage what's left of Bad Blood by writing the Hell in A Cell Match.
The commentators discuss the Hell in A Cell Match and they talk about how big of a first this is. The two people that will be entering that cell will be Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, Dok Hendrix interviews Shawn Michaels about the Hell in A Cell Match. Michaels says 15 foot high Steel Cage, No Way In No Way Out, he's going to have to go this one alone, if it weren't for his wonderful athletic ability, the fact that he is tougher than nails and that he is the man and the show stopper, the headliner and the main event is the only thing. The fact is nobody is crazy enough to do this gig except for the Heartbreak Kid, and that is why he is going to go out there to prove that he is the #1 guy in the business and beat The Undertaker.
Clips are shown of the Hell in A Cell Match with clips of Shawn Michaels's old and new days in the WWF set to "Where The Streets Have No Name" by U2. But the music ends with Michaels turning heel at Summerslam 1997. It goes to more clips with Michaels talking about how he doesn't give a damn what the fans think of him. And following it up with his alliance between Rick Rude, Chyna and Hunter Hearst Helmsley, the clip ends with Undertaker sitting up in a bodybag with Michaels being scared.
Back to the arena, the Cell is about to be lowered, but Sgt. Slaughter and the referee are checking to see if anybody is under the ring, and we've been told that before Slaughter showed up, Slaughter has announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin will return to the ring at the 1997 Survivor Series to face Owen Hart for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Slaughter then instructs the cage to go down, but before it goes down, Michaels's music begins to play in the arena as he comes out with Rick Rude, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chyna, not only it could be the last time you ever hear this song, but the last time you could hear Shawn Michaels again, Michaels has been in a number of firsts here in the WWF. He's been in the first WWF Ladder Match in 1992, The first ever Winner Take All Championship Match in 1995, he's been the Intercontinental Champion twice, the WWF Tag Team Champion twice, the 1996 Royal Rumble Winner, and he won the WWF Championship at WrestleMania 12 over Bret Hart, but all of his accolades could come to an end here tonight, this could be Shawn's last night in the World Wrestling Federation since 1988 when he teamed up with Marty Jannetty. the cell begins to lower as The Undertaker's gongs begin to sound and we hear the ominous druid music played in the background as the lights begin to go out to a dark purple. The Druids make their way to the ring as they make a circle together waiting for the arrival of The Undertaker, the thunder and lightning begin to sound as Undertaker's music hits as he makes his way to the ring. The Undertaker has also been in a number of firsts, in 1992. He wrestled Kamala in a Casket Match at the Survivor Series, this was the first ever casket match, he was on the first Monday Night RAW Main Event in 1993 against Bret Hart for the WWF Championship, he's also been in the first ever Buried Alive Match in 1994 at WrestleMania 10, Taker has won the Royal Rumble twice from 1993 and 1997 tied with Hulk Hogan from 1990 and 1991. And he has successfully won the WWF Title three times, he made his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series and beat Hulk Hogan to regain the title one year later, but tonight. His career could come full circle in the first ever Hell in A Cell Match if he defeats Shawn Michaels and goes to the 1997 Survivor Series to face Bret Hart for the WWF Title. Taker gets to the stairs and brings the lights back up in the arena, Michaels rolls outside as Helmsley, Chyna and Rude try to get untop of the Hell in A Cell but Sgt. Slaughter refuses to let them go to the top. Undertaker takes off his garb and begins to stalk Shawn Michaels to the ring. Match 8: Hell in A Cell Match The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels The first Inaugural Hell in A Cell Match is underway, the cell is 15 feet and 2 tons of diameter. Michaels still continues to go outside but begins to get in the ring and starts punching away at The Undertaker and Michaels rocks Undertaker into the buckle with punches but Undertaker grabs him by the throat and hits hard punches to the head on Michaels. Undertaker is regaining the momentum now and tosses Michaels straight into the buckles. Michaels tries to escape but Undertaker will not let him. Taker continues to take Michaels into the buckle again as he whips him into the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Michaels starts to punch away at The Undertaker and throws stinging left jabs at him rocking him into the buckle and Michaels tries tossing Undertaker into the buckle but Undertaker reverses and Michaels does a flop but Taker takes him down with a clothesline and Taker grabs Michaels by the arm and hits the ropewalk taking Shawn down and Undertaker hits a headbutt and tosses Shawn into the buckle and hits his signature snake eyes and follows it up with a big boot/leg drop combination but Michaels kicks out at 2. Taker grabs Shawn and hits the uppercut and nails 3 right hands as well and sends Michaels over the top rope to the floor and Michaels's feet struck the cage. And Undertaker is continuing the dominance outside the ring. Michaels tries to fight back and tries to escape but Undertaker grabs him and throws him 5 feet through the cage. Taker grabs Shawn and throws him in the cage and Shawn gets greeted with a clothesline by The Undertaker. Taker then throws Shawn into the cage and hits another clothesline and Taker grabs Shawn and throws him into the ring apron in where he hits his signature leg drop on Michaels that knocks Michaels out of the ring and then Taker picks Shawn up and goes for a piledriver or Powerbomb but Michaels tries fighting out of it but Taker refuses and powerbombs Shawn into the cage wall. Taker then grabs Shawn and slams him into the steel steps and look at this beatdown Shawn has received. Every big guy that Shawn has fought has dominated him in the early goings of a one on one match, but Shawn has overcome them, but he may not overcome The Undertaker here tonight as Taker just throws him pillar to post into the cage and the ringpost. And that's gotta take Shawn out of the game right now. And Taker scoops Shawn up and goes to slam him into the cell but Shawn reverses but Undertaker hit a right hand on Shawn and tosses him back into the steel steps. The Phenom is making this match look one-sided, Taker then chokes Michaels using his boot and then throws him into the cage and goes for an elbow but Michaels ducks and hits a tornado DDT on The Undertaker onto the steel steps and that had to be a last gasp from the Heartbreak Kid. Michaels then punches away at Undertaker and sends him out of the apron with a dropkick. Michaels then runs off the ropes and hits a torpedo taking The Undertaker down. Michaels then climbs the cell and drops the elbow off of The Undertaker. Michaels then gets untop of the apron and hits a flying clothesline knocking The Undertaker down. Michaels picks up the steel steps and hits Taker with them in the back not once, not twice, but three times. Michaels then grabs Undertaker and goes for a piledriver on the steel steps but he can't lift The Undertaker up, but he finally has the courage and finally hits the piledriver on The Undertaker. The Undertaker's head has to be broken after that. He may have to suffer a concussion. Michaels then tosses Undertaker back in the ring and Michaels starts to go for the cover but Undertaker kicks out at 2. The Undertaker will not die, he will not stay down. Michaels then tosses The Undertaker over the top rope and hits a double axe handle on the apron onto the cell. The commentators say that when The Undertaker's down, he can't chokeslam nor perform a Tombstone Piledriver. Michaels then throws right hands on The Undertaker and gets out of the ring in where he uses the steel chair, the same chair that was used at Summerslam and the same chair that busted The Undertaker open on August 18, 1997. Michaels hits the chair to The Undertaker's back and that has to be it. And Michaels hits another chair shot to the Phenom again. Michaels goes for the cover again but Undertaker kicks out once again at 2. The Phenom will not go down. Michaels and Undertaker begin to exchange blows with Undertaker gaining the advantage but it's Michaels fighting back. Michaels whips Undertaker into the ropes and hits a reverse elbow knocking Undertaker down. Michaels goes for the cover but Undertaker again kicks out at 2. Michaels then punches away at Undertaker and starts to lock him into the ropes and the referee tells Michaels to stop. Michaels goes for a move but Undertaker gets unlocked out of the ropes and sends Michaels out of the ring with a back body drop taking out the cameraman and Michaels gets to his feet and knocks out the Cameraman while the referee tells Michaels to leave it alone. Taker gets to his feet and Michaels whips Undertaker into the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Undertaker counters and hits the signature jumping clothesline taking Michaels down to the mat. Taker then gets to his feet and runs off the ropes in where he hits the Jumping DDT on Michaels, the referee gets back to the ring, but meanwhile. Sgt. Slaughter has come down to ringside to check on the cameraman and Taker starts to hammer away at Michaels and whips him into the ropes but Michaels nails a flying forearm and hits his signature diving elbow drop but could he go for Sweet Chin Music?. The Door starts to get unlocked with Sgt. Slaughter telling the ref to unlock the door. Michaels starts to tune it up but Undertaker grabs him by the throat and hits Michaels with the chokeslam but that chokeslam also took a lot out of The Undertaker as he is down as well. Taker then picks up Shawn as he tries to go for the tombstone but Michaels counters it and he hits Sweet Chin Music on the Deadman. Meanwhile, the EMT crew help out the unfortunate cameraman, Michaels has The Undertaker pinned, but the referee is still helping out the cameraman that got beat up by Shawn. Michaels tells the ref to get in the ring and do his damn job, but The Undertaker does his situp and he begins to scare off Shawn. Shawn tries a right hand but Undertaker hits him with a right hand and whips him into the ropes in where he nails a high back body drop and tosses him right over the top rope to the floor again. Michaels gets to his feet and begins to make his escape, they are outside of the cell, Michaels is trying to do anything he can as he throws right hands and dropkicks at the Undertaker but Undertaker catches Michaels's second dropkick attempt and catapults Michaels right into the cage. And it looks like Michaels has been busted open, The Undertaker has finally come back. Taker grabs Michaels and slams his face into the cage. The handsome features of Shawn Michaels have been rearranged by The Undertaker, Taker starts to do it again and slams him into the cage once more. Look at this a bloody Shawn has been destroyed by The Undertaker, Shawn then finally gets a low blow in The Undertaker, but wait a minute it looks like Michaels is trying to climb the cage, but The Undertaker grabs the ankles of Michaels and Michaels kicks him in the face and Michaels is at the top of the cell. But wait a minute, The Undertaker is coming with him. Michaels sees Undertaker and attempts a piledriver to break the cell but Taker backdrops out of it, these two are fighting 25 feet untop of the cell. What will happen here?. Taker starts to dominate Michaels untop of the cell, the referee convinces them to get back in the ring but Undertaker grabs Michaels and press slams him into the cage, the gurners may break and Taker hits another right hand and Shawn begins to climb out and tries to escape but Undertaker has a handful of hair and Taker starts to kick one hand into Shawn and does it again and Shawn falls crashing into the cage through the Spanish Announce Table, Michaels has to be broken in half. Michaels took an 8-feet fall from the cage. Taker then gets back down from the cage but Michaels is up, how did he get up after that?. Taker then grabs Shawn and throws him straight into the French announce table, Michaels tries to escape but Undertaker hip tosses him to the broken Spanish Announce Table. Undertaker continues to stalk Shawn around and they are able to make it back to the ring, Commissioner Slaughter has returned and reopens the door so that Michaels and Undertaker can make it back to the ring and they have locked up the cell door again. Taker grabs Shawn back in the ring and hits another chokeslam taking Shawn down to the mat, Taker then picks up Shawn again and he's not satisfied and hits another chokeslam on Shawn. Taker wants to make Shawn regret what happened at Summerslam. Taker then gets out of the ring again and he begins to search for something under the ring himself and he's got a steel chair, Taker gets in the ring and smacks Shawn's cranium with the chair and Taker is now signaling for the end, it could be the Tombstone that awaits Shawn's fate. And possibly, a trip to the 1997 Survivor Series for The Undertaker. But then suddenly, the lights go out in the arena and some strange music begins to play in the arena and wait a minute, it's Paul Bearer with a man in all red and black by his side. McMahon is screaming "That's gotta be Kane". It has to be Kane!. The Undertaker is in shock. Kane begins to rip the cage door off it's hinges and look at Kane, he just tossed the referee into the cage wall, look at the size of this human being or is he a human being?. Undertaker then stares down Kane as he mouths "brother". Kane is huge and is almost as big as The Undertaker. Kane then raises his arms and sets them off with a wall of fire exploding the turnbuckles. Kane then kicks Undertaker in the gut and starts to rain down punches on him and Kane grabs him and hits him with The Undertaker's own move, the Tombstone Piledriver. Kane just tombstoned his brother. The brother of The Undertaker just tombstoned his own flesh and blood, Kane and Bearer leave the cell with the crowd beginning to boo. Michaels rises to his feet and pins The Undertaker and the ref has rung the bell. Michaels has won the first-ever Hell in A Cell Match. Winner: Shawn Michaels What a shock, after being thrown from the cage, busted open and taking serious punishment. Shawn Michaels has survived the Hell in A Cell Match with help from The Undertaker's brother Kane, Shawn Michaels not only beat The Undertaker, but Kane has defeated The Undertaker, Paul Bearer was not lying all along, Kane now has finally arrived in the World Wrestling Federation, The Undertaker's worst nightmare has come true but Shawn Michaels will face Bret Hart at the 1997 Survivor Series in Montreal for the WWF Championship, but look at a beaten Undertaker, he is in shock that his brother Kane is alive. He didn't want to believe it, but it's come to this. Kane is in the WWF now, and it looks like a brotherly war has just begun, Bad Blood ends with Michaels, Helmsley, Rude and Chyna celebrating.
