Yeah I'm calling it the 180 too. It still has no exclusives I'm interested in. PS4 is the safer bet for me because I know Naughty Dog will be putting out some great titles. But Xbox doesnt have much to exclusively offer me that peak my interests.

Honestly the only thing that is stopping me from being the One on launch is the whole Kinect business, but I think Halo 5 will get me to crack and buy one. Hopefully they'll drop the Kinect crap by then too, but I doubt it.

Today's announcement more or less cements my decision to go with the One. Unless something dramatic comes about, the PS4 will have to wait for a price drop.

I'll still be going with the PS4, but I'll be getting a One down the line now that they've changed their policies.
I'm still not thrilled about mandatory Kinect, but it's good to see them changing their minds. What they were doing was suicide.

microsoft took one step in the right direction because they knew they were gonna get their asses handed to them by sony
now drop the price by $100 and get rid of the stupid kinect and im sold....or at least give us 2 versions of the console so we can choose

Kinda mad at some of the collateral losses that came with it, though. I guess I can't access all my games on the cloud now, and who knows about the updating worlds for games like Sunset Overdrive or Titanfall. Meh.

LOL at them backtracking since they got their asses BEAT by people online!  I was still planning on getting it but this just makes it better in case I ever plan on selling my games and or lose my internet connection.. |

I've heard people use these as real arguments and a couple of points I'd like to add to that is.
Not everyone likes Steam and its DRM policies either. People do like the sales, however I can guarantee Microsoft nor Sony would have such deals because doing so would effect retail sales which would hurt there retail relationship.
Gamestop would have not been effected I think letting friends borrow games or dealers on Ebay, craiglist, Amazon, etc was the main concern.
Slightly nicer graphics? Ha if they knew anything about hardware specs they would know this console is almost 20x more powerful, Launch titles should never be considered the cream of the crop.
Game developers can eat it. Sorry but guys like Cliff Bleszenski that NEED more money are complete asshats. You can't blast photos of all the Lambos you own and expect people to take your "production cost" needs seriously.

I think the PS4 Looks more promising, I want to play with the PS4 Controller anyways. I might give Xbox One a chance at a friends house but other than that, not buying.
