What are some movies you loved as a kid that you still love today?
For me one that always stays true is Pinocchio. Not any of the remakes (which I've never watched) but the original 1940 Disney cartoon. I've seen it more times than I can even count. Absolutely loved it as a child and own it now on blu-ray/dvd combo at nearly 29 years old and I'm not ashamed to say that I'm watching it as I type this. It's got great voice acting and comedy but above all that it just takes me back to a simpler time.
Anyone else love this film? And what are some movies you feel that way about.

I haven't seen either of those in a long time. I'd love to own them.

Main one would be Lion King. It was the first movie I ever saw in theaters actually.

Willow, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Batman 89, Top Gun, Days of Thunder, Hook and Ferris Bueller's Day Off were sort of my go to group of movies as a kid. I've seen each of those movies hundreds of times at this point. My sister is 10 years older than me, and my dad was all about letting me watch whatever, so I feel fortunate haha. I watched more of that stuff as a kid than I did Disney movies. Disney-wise I'd say Aladdin and Lion King and then the Mighty Ducks movies, but I haven't watched those for years. Rookie of the Year is still one I watch from time to time.

Other than that all was a go. Some of my favorites as a kid were Terminator 2, Universal Solider and RoboCop so that tells you something. Oh, I also watched the Lethal Weapon movies frequently along with Back to The Future

Oh, I also watched the Lethal Weapon movies frequently along with Back to The Future Oh same here, JCVD was a favorite of mine as a kid as well. Cyborg, Universal Soldier, and Timecop. Ditto on Back to the Future and Lethal Weapon. I remember getting in trouble as a kid because I quoted Biff from BF2 in front of my parents and said something like "freeze you son of a b*tch!" Haha that was my childhood.

Blood Sport.
I would take my action figures and play out that tournament with my figures.
Halloween and Friday the 13th
These movies would scare me pretty bad but there I was wanting to watch them non stop.
Conan the Barbarian
Arnold is such a badass. I wanted to be him so badly as a kid.
